Dominant!
August 26th, 2016Yesterday, Joe typed a story explaining that Mike Evans was the Buccaneers’ big winner through training camp.
Tonight, Evans was dominant against the Browns and has Joe salivating for more.
Evans caught all five balls thrown in his direction — five catches for 115 yards and a touchdown. He flashed speed and his giant, strong mitts, and he made adjustments on the ball.
The guy who dropped the first ball thrown to him during training camp, on the heels of a horrible K-Y hands season, looks like a new man.
Evans talked to the CBS television cameras after his one half of work. He said his body feels great and his attitude is that of a winner.
Evans never has had much trouble getting open, and he’s not afraid to get hit. If he can simply squeeze footballs and stay calm, then the NFC South could be talking about him approaching a 2,000-yard season, rather than Julio Jones.
That’s not hyperbole. Evans is that capable. He just has to keep squeezing the ball.

So hyped about Evs… He always had the raw skills. Once he polishes his craft, and squeezes his balls, he’ll overtake Beckham Jr as the top WR of that stacked draft class.

So hyped if we can keep a healthy VJ and ME this year. Both of them were excellent in Jameis’ no huddle offense

I was praying he would not run out of bounds, but he lost his balance. It would have been like Bob Griese to Matt More.

Mike Evans was injured last year. Give it a break.
Most NFL players are injured through every season.–Joe

Did you see the break away speed after that one catch? He would have scored if he hadn’t lost his balance.

Me was good last year despite the drops. He caught 70+ ball and had like 1200 yards. Also, he drew flags for pass interference. Granted the drops were bad overall he was good.

Over 100 yards for Evans. And I believe over 250 yards for James. All on the first half. If this team can be consistent it can be elite

Has anyone noticed he hasn’t missed time because of his hamstring he finally seems to have fully adjusted to the NFL now time to have that monster year and the Monster contract !!!!

There were catches made last night by Evans that I don’t think he makes last year.

I literally had to grasp for air on that touchdown pass I was so excited. Pure chills. This man is a BEAST!
