Meet the Bucs new offensive coordinator?
So Earnest Graham was called upon to enter the Dallas game as a running back for his opening series in the running backs rotation and said, “No.”
Graham sacrificed his turn and demanded Cadillac Williams stay in the game because Cadillac was hot, Raheem The Dream told the media today.
The head coach heaped massive praise on Graham for his unselfishness. “I said it’s your series and he said, ‘No. Put Caddy in. He’s hot.'”
And the Bucs’ coaches proceeded to keep Graham on the sidelines and keep Cadillac in the game.
Joe is flabbergasted.
If it was the right move to put Cadillac in the game, then why the hell was Raheem The Dream turning to Graham in the first place?
Who is running the offense?
It’s fabulous to learn of Graham’s unselfishness, but it’s scary as anything to learn about this kind of amateur decision-making.

Rah or Logan called Earnie to go in the game and he yielded to Lac. Are they going to force him to go in?

The direction the Bucs are going in is youth. Take it or leave it. That’s the way it’s going to be. You wanted change and you got it. Change for the sake of change is wrong. Unorganized and not working on the things that are game changing like a stinking field goal kicker. Two field goals and we were right there. But no, just like the Bucs of yesteryear we always find a way to lose.

Yea Joe, have to call you down on this one buddy. I do believe Graham plowed the hole for Cadi on the TD. Also Graham was playing special teams which he has said he missed playing as the feature back and really enjoys it. Graham is a bruiser and a Stud with big guns. He is also pretty smart and knows the odds that the longer and fresher he can stay, the better he will be later in the season, if and when the chips are down. Nice try though Joe. Have another Cabrew, find a good pic of your girl RW, and go in your room and take care of business. The season is here and their will plenty to write about. Are you watching the Bills right now? They look pretty good but have had a couple key injuries. Pats don’t look that great either. Hows that for news?

Graham is a total stud and Joe is a big fan. This post is no slight on Graham. Joe would have preferred to have Raheem respond to Graham with something like, “Earnest, that’s nice, but get your ass in the game. Your in next because we decided that’s the best way to run our offense. That’s why we’re putting you in the game.’
It’s just bizarre to decide to put a player in an NFL game and then have said player, who is not injured talk a coach out of it in a matter of seconds.

Morris would have forced Graham to go in but he knew Graham was right. When you have the hot hand, you play it. This should not be a dig on either Morris or Graham. It was the right call at the right time, unlike the one where the Bucs chose to pass on 1st and 2nd downs when they were deep in their own territory with less than two minutes left in the half. That stupid series turned out to be a momentum changer.

A little off subject but I could not agree more with CyberDilemma. Why did we abandone the run so early? The play calling was terrible. Please tell me we are not going to ask Byron to throw the ball 40+ times a game. Not with this stable of backs.
