Koetter: “I Wish I Could Take That Team Chemistry With Me Back To Tampa Bay”
June 27th, 2016There’s nothing quite like playing for a champion.
It’s intoxicating.
Dirk Koetter was blessed to experience that feeling in college with Idaho State, Division 1-AA kings in 1981.
Koetter was back in Pocatello, Idaho, over the weekend celebrating that title 35 years ago. KIDK-TV caught up with Koetter and he shared that he wishes he could bring that ISU championship chemistry to the modern day Buccaneers. It would have been more encouraging if Koetter said he feels a similar winning bond among the Bucs, but that’s ok. It’s super early.
Enjoy Koetter’s TV appearance below.

Buccaneer team chemistry seems to be as good as I have seen it for many years and is likely to continue growing.
Jameis Winston is the catalyst.

Winston and Koetter is a winning combination. The Bucs have never had better IMO.

I feel Koetter will be instrumental in creating that similar winning bond with the Bucs. Probable that he can’t create the youthful enthusiasm of college life and sports, but already has made some of the Buc players and fans minds less fogged going forward. The tunnel collapse has been cleared for passage.

It would of made more sense to say the sandbar the Bucs ship was stuck on has eroded, new Captain on board, the Bucs pirate flag hoisted, time to plunder more wins. Aye Captain Dirk.
