Go ahead and bang away at your thoughts, whether the Bucs should trade up, if you are hacked off at who they picked, perhaps they should have traded down, or if the Bucs should trade back up into the first round later tonight?

However we do it. We need to move up and grab J. Ramsey. I’ll take him even if it cost us our 2nd round next year and a pick this year. He will be worth it. All the top guys will be picked right before the Bucs make a selection at #9. Lets grab this guy and turn around in the 2nd and get a DE. Go Bucs!!!!!!

I would LOVE to have Ramsey – but unless he drops to 6 or 7 (which ain’t happening!) it will be too costly to move up.
We will get a good player at 9 – there’s no doubt in my mind. A trade back would be the best case scenario IMO – but that is pretty unlikely at 9 unless something extraordinary happens.
Go get em Jason Licht. Trust your overall evaluations. Trust your board – and STICK TO IT! Draft for value. Just get us some good football players who love the game and are willing to work their asses off to be great. That’s all we need. Koetter and Smith will work out the details.

Agree on the QB’s. I think Fischer though Goff was more ready than a guy who played at bumf U. Long term though Wentz is probably better.
Goff is going to a much better team than Wentz however so I expect more from him in the early years of their careers.

Bosa just is not that much better, if at all, than about 5 other DEs in the draft.
As for Ramsey- he is NOT a game changer. Can’t get INTs. No reason to trade up for him.
Take DE and get Joseph or Neal in Rd 2 for Safety.

Man Raven’s fans look as disappointed as us. I realize the importance of offensive tackles but they don’t touch the ball and so they’re just not as sexy a pick.
But if Conklin or Tunsil drop to 9th perhaps #3’s posterior becomes important enough to delay that instant gratification of a stud DE.
I like VHG but I’m not sure I’d take him if Tunsil or Conklin are on the board.

We picked up a 4th for moving back 3 spots to get the player they were limely targeting at 8, anyway. So, now we can package that 4th-rounder with our 2nd-rounder to move back up into the bottom of the first roind to get the edge-rusher we clearly need.
That being said, I have no idea why we went corner over edge-rusher, but I’m not going to gainsay Licht until we have some kind of idea of how our new rookies are going to work out, – with pads on, playing in Koetter and Smith’s schemes, against NFL-level competition.

VH3 has a 39″ vertical. Which was tops at the combine. And a 10’10” broad jump. Also tops at the combine. Has amazing footwork with silky hips. And can actually catch the ball. Guys I’m 68 and saw my first weed in ‘Nam 50 years ago.
I get the devices but high is high…and in fact I view weed a lot like alcohol.
Take a couple hits get a buzz but enjoy life. Have a martini or maybe two and get a buzz but enjoy life…..or just keep on burning and get wasted or keep on drinking and get skunk drunk.
I guess there’s a time and place for all of it and perhaps I’m getting old…tbut I rarely get totally wasted anymore…mellow yes…bombed nah.

If Licht can pull off Vh3 in the 1st, Ogbah in the 2nd, and Boyd in the 3rd. Just crown him with GM of the year now! Not sure if those guys will be there at each round or not. One can dream.

I’m glad the Falcons didn’t get Joseph. I would’ve hated playing against him twice a year. I have no problem playing Neal. I’m not big on him.

I do feel incredibly sorry for guys like MarineBucfan and today’s vets because instead of a year tour they keep getting sent back..and back..and back.

Hope? Of course! But it was not a putdown of Ramsey…remember I was with you..I wanted him more than VHG…nor was it a putdown of Revis or Sherman.
Unless you believe there are corners that never get beat I feel I was simply stating a fact. Getting beaten by a receiver with the talent of a Benjamin is not really that embarrassing. Benjamin beat many NFL CB’s in his rookie year.

The sad part about all of this is the talent the coaching and GM changes cost us these past few years. Our front seven should be: Michael Bennett, GMC, Sheldon Richardson (if we kept the pick that went to the Jets), Jack Smith, LVD, KA, and Mark Barron. Secondary should be Talib, Verner, Goldson, Wright.

This is shaping up pretty good for us. We could get a top shelf DT and DE in the second if the draft continues like this. With all the depth at those positions, everyone is waiting. When you look at who’s still available. Nkemdechie, Spence, Butler, Billings, Dodd, Ogbah are all there still. Not to forget (they don’t fit us) the two Alabama d lineman

Horrible pick… rich mckay same spot 20 yrs ago drafted an alleged druggie that fell and he turned into the cornerstone of a superbowl… take the 10 year LT in tunsil be a good gm/scout get an all pro cb inlater rounds… terrible by licht… im a gator homer thru and thru, graduate uf, etc, but this was horrible pick when the #1 overall pick is sitting there for you… dumb pick
