Sweating Jameis
February 26th, 2016Much has been written about the winning passion and drive to excel of America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston.
His heart and desire has been written about almost as much as his stellar play on the field.
Well, now there is video evidence. Less than a month removed from playing in the Pro Bowl, where Jameis himself said he learned his previous offseason workouts may not be good enough, there is video of Jameis working out with Michael Jordan’s former personal trainer to be the best he can be.
Below is the video posted on the Instagram account of Jameis’ trainer, Tim Grower, with Jameis working on his agility in the pocket.
It’s Feb. 26, folks, not Aug. 26.
This is your quarterback, America’s Quarterback.

I love how the messiah don’t talk about it he be about it. Lots of Twitter and IG rants talking about wanting to be great while they taking pics at Krusty-land, Paris and in front of their Xbox. Yes krusty the clown from the Simpsons has his own theme park, who knew.
Meanwhile the messiah’s Twitter is basically in hibernation bc he’s putting in WORK. We have to change the culture at OBP and it starts with The Messiah.

Just look at how much faster his feet have gotten, almost perfect five step drop. He just keeps getting better, and it’s not for us it’s for him. That’s what makes him so scary, he’s working like his heads on fire and every day could make our break him!

From what it says online, Attack Athletics is in Chicago. Nothing wrong with going across the country for training but I do hope Jameis gets together with his receivers at some point
I also love that this guy is MJ’s and Kobe’s personal trainer. Jameis wants to be the MJ of football, so who better to go to than his own trainer?

Man some of you!!! Can’t the man work on his mechanics and get his game together before he works with his receivers with the same old bad mechanics he had? It’s only February 26. The QB and WRs are on record as saying they will hook up at some point this off-season. Whats with all this hope he will work with his receivers crap? I mean give me a freaking break. These guys know what they need to do. No need for all this worry and panic. They will get together. Its as simple as that.

The beggining of the much needed culture change! Jameis, Kwon and Koetter! We needed leadership, esp on offense. What better place to get that fire and passion and drive from then at qb!
And sure, Jameis’ accuracy can improve, but as his rookie season progressed, his ability to read defenses improved. His footwork and overall pocket awareness from September to December were night and day. All of that can overcome the occasional overthrow, which should also improve. And when you combine that with the above mentioned intangibles and rocket arm, we got some promise under center…finally.

He looks fit. A year ago he looked a little chubby for a pro athlete but not now. Good for him!
February 26th, 2016 at 3:53 pm
My only wish is for him to put some size on those thighs and calfs, his lack of lower body mass scares me.

I like Jameis.

Nice, you came tell JW is putting in the work…he looks like an NFL baller now…last year this time he looked like a baseball player…The one thing the combine can’t measure is heart; if they could JW would’ve been off the meter in that department…

Proud of you young Sky Walker..
February 26th, 2016 at 4:16 pm
The kid has had one good year. That’s all. Before we crown him King Jameis, lets see if he can string 4 or 5 good seasons together first. Lets see if we can post a winning record first. Lets see if we can make the playoffs first. Lets see if we can break 500 first..LETS WAIT AND SEEeeee!
February 26th, 2016 at 4:21 pm
All I see is a painful injury risk from to many reps of doing that. Needs to work on footwork and balance…

@LargoBuc
Amen brother!!!
The beggining of the much needed culture change!
YES!!! Do we not suppose the other young Bucs see this? We are on our way!
And OK 87 I give your props and for the umpteenth time recognize that yes you told us so and you were right!

I hope Jason Licht keeps Koetter out of the kitchen
I was only a holdout in that we were basically comparing two really good players: Jameis and Marcus Mariota. Both really, really good players. And my job that I was assigned was more the film evaluation part. So other people were evaluating all the other staff. But as we got to pro days and we got around the other coaches, you’ve got to remember, (Oregon coach) Mark Helfrich was a (grad assistant) for me at Oregon and was a quarterbacks coach at Boise and Idaho State. Mark is telling me, ‘Marcus Mariota, you guys are idiots, you’re not going to draft Marcus Mariota? You guys are stupid.’ Well, that’s a guy I’m really close to.
Eventually, the Bucs convinced Koetter — either that, or he just had to live with the decision given that he was ultimately not the one making it. And Koetter’s happy they did. In fact, Winston was part of the reason why he wanted to be the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Koetter heavily implied that Winston’s ability to learn and adjust and his attitude towards his teammates and the game are what eventually sold him on the quarterback

You can Train, Practice or Play scared that’s what losers do essentially that is what you are saying… Ask Lovie about playing scared itcost that loser his job twice…
Hopefully some of Jaboo’s work ethic and winning ways finds its way to that soft arse defense sooner than later.

This is BS. Nearly every NFL player is working out now. Lets stop worshiping JW for doing what is normal in the NFL. This is NO big deal.
February 26th, 2016 at 9:06 pm
You hit the nail straight on its head there BucNut2!! All of this Jameis and Buc worship for what? The Bucs..Our Bucs were one of the worst teams in the NFl last year. YEs he’s had one decent season. That’s all. WE SUCKED..TO HOLY HELL..AND BEYOND!! And 6-10 says that..despite an improvement from the yr before.Everybody blames it on the coach. Why not? He is the leader. Every..2 yrs we blame it on the leader.
So lets play musical chairs and change coaches, Lets not say we drafted for 2 or 3 yrs on the offensive side of the ball. Lets fire them after 2 yrs. Well..guess what? Lets give the golden boy Koetter and his Atlanta crew 2 yrs too!! Batter up Coach Koetter. Time to stop smiling and deliver. less we got a fishing spot for you to on the Tamp[a Bay bridge with Lovie and Schiano. Its the..Glazer and Tampa Bay sports writers way..plus..the easily lead gullible fans here.
And Just..tus..for all!!

Bucnut and Michael the ghost Johnson :
Have you see any posts of GMC, LVD or any of our Buccaneers training this early? Ummm no… Yes I do agree that most of the nfl elite are doing the same thing right now and training to get better. But the key word in that sentence is ELITE!!! The problem with our bucs is complacency. Gmc is a great player but if he doesn’t find new ways to get to the QB an strengthen his game then he will never be elite. Same goes for the immature Mike Evans who said “oh on my bad days I put up 150 yards” ok that might be true but if he worked on his game year round it would have been like 250 yards if he didn’t drop all of those passes. JOE IS JUST HOPING THAT THIS ATTITUDE WOULD RUB OFF OF THE REST OF GHE COMPLACENT BUCS PLAYERS AND CHANGE OUR MINDSET TO WINNERS!!!

Note to Army Bucs fan.. Let us all open our hymn book to page 42. Join me in our Buc rendition of, Amazing Grace how sweet the losing. After the hymn we will pass around the collection plate where game seat prices will be raised…..
