Logan Mankins Leads List Of “Questionable” Buccaneers; Jackson And Spence Won’t Play

One of the renowned play-through-injury gamers in NFL history, Bucs left guard Logan Mankins, is officially “questionable” for tomorrow’s game in St. Louis.

Mankins has an ankle issue and didn’t practice Monday and Tuesday. Today, he was “limited” in practice, per the Bucs’ injury report and has the “questionable” status for kickoff.

Mankins, who once played through a torn ACL with the Patriots, missed one game this season with a groin injury and second-year man Kevin Pamphile did a hell of a job filling in during the Bucs’ victory against the Jaguars.

Also “questionable” for tomorrow are Jacquies Smith and George Johnson. Middle linebacker Bruce Carter, who made a solid start Sunday, is “doubtful” with an ankle injury. If he’s out, look for Danny Lansanah to move to MLB, and Orie Lemon playing strongside linebacker.

Vincent Jackson (knee) and Akeem Spence (ankle) are officially out.

Ouch. We were fortunate with the injury bug for s while this season, but they are really piling up now. Gonna be real tough to pull out a win in St. Louis.

We will most likely go 8-8 unless we lose to the rams then 7-9 which is still pretty damn good to 2-14 last year.
