V-Jax Says Return Was Up To Four Weeks Early
November 22nd, 2015After today’s game, Joe asked Vincent Jackson exactly how accelerated his return was today after a knee ligament injury on October 25.
V-Jax said he was a man determined to outwork the initial prognosis of team doctors and trainers.
“Yeah, it was projected [to have me out] somewhere between five to seven weeks, and I missed three weeks and I’m back on the field,’ Jackson said. “So, you know, I put a lot of work in. My rehabilitation, you know what I mean. I thank our training staff but again, I’m a competitive guy. If can go out there and, you know, make an impact, I’m going to go out there.”

Vjax is a warrior. We all knew he would do any/everything in his power to return soon. Meanwhile back at the ranch, The Hot Tub Man SJ is..gingerly taking his time..soothing his sore muscles.

His knee was looking real strong on that TD catch!

VJax, Winston, Mankins, McCoy.. These guys are warriors. They play through injuries even if they aren’t 100%. Not like ASJ who says he needs to be 100% before he can step foot on the field again. I don’t buy that the medical staff hadn’t cleared him yet. I think they just covered for him after he made his statements about being 100%.

VJackson’ presence is a confidence builder for the entire team. A very satisfying win. Go Bucs! Beat the Colts!

Hey ASJ are you reading this??

This is exactly what a team on the verge of a breakout looks like. Young guys ballin’, vets fighting through injuries to stay on the field, and a young franchise QB hitting his stride. You can feel it and today we saw it. They do not look like the blind squirrel getting the occasional nut like bad teams do. Just look at the leads they’ve generated in several of their past few games. Today, they did not let go. Damn, we could be in for an exciting ride these next few weeks.

I agree with what Hawaiian said in the last article, the Bucs have to have V-Jax back next year. Works hard, class guy, good mentor, everything you could want with a team full of youngsters.

ASJ vs VJ. This is the difference between a pro and a scrub. ASJ might have the freak physical talents… but in the end he is a scrub and will most likely be a bust.
Still though, Licht has a good track record in drafts so far.
Biggest Steals in NFL History:
Jason Licht, Kirk Koetter, Ali Marpet, Kwon Alexander.

Jolly Bucs Fan …give a rookie 3 years. ASJ is only in his 2nd season. Don’t pull a Charles Sims on this kid like everyone was doing last season and all summer long. I have faith in ASJ. I might be the only one on here that does, but we’ll see if I’m right soon enough.

ASJ will be fine, let him heal and come back 100%, then see what Jameis can really do

Can’t say I’m a big fan of ASJ simply because I’ve not really seen him play but I seriously doubt his not playing is because he doesn’t want to be out there.
Pro teams, just like college teams, do what their medical staffs approve. They aren’t going to give the go ahead for a guy to play if he physically isn’t up to it. It’s one thing for a player who is already on the field and gets banged up to tell everyone he’s still good to go. It’s something completely different when a player is taken off the field due to injury and the medical staff has to get involved. Once that happens, the decision to get back on the field comes from the medical staff and not the player or the coach.
Whatever ASJ’s injury is, it obviously isn’t healing as well or as quickly as he, the coaches or the medical staff thought it would. That’s likely why he was put on IR in the first place; the injury was something that all parties thought would heal in a short time frame. For whatever reason, it hasn’t. It’s even possible that in attempting to keep himself in playing condition, ASJ made the condition worse or just re-injured himself. Whatever it is, I doubt ASJ is keeping himself off the field.

Say what you want, VJAX is one of the best the bucs have ever had. Appreciate it!

Do any of you really believe that the coaches would allow ASJ to just sit if he’s able to go? And for that matter, do any of you believe that the med staff would lie to the coaches to cover for a player? Time to turn on the common sense, people!

Unlike, soft little weenie. ASJ…come on dude, man up and play!!!

No player can take the field if the medical staff won’t clear them to play.

It seems there is always alot to talk about when a team is losing. When they win especially like the way the Bucs won yesterday, what is there to really say other then;” great win keep them coming”!
