The Buccaneers shared some results from a private Twitter chat Doug Martin had with select fans this week.
Martin was asked about building team chemistry and he referenced that “dinners” are a big part of it.
That reminded Joe of a recent chat starting center Joe Hawley had on the Buccaneers Radio Network. Hawley explained that Martin, not Jameis Winston, is a regular at the O-line dinner on Thursday nights at various local establishments.
Hawley said Martin has had his eyes opened by the way the meals start. Hawley explained that the assembled group of nine or so decides on five or six appetizers that interest them — and then they proceed to order five or six of each.
Joe’s no math major, but that’s typically 30 appetizers kicking off the meal. And then it proceeds to dinner and dessert.
It’s no surprise that O-linemen eat like fiends, and Joe doesn’t know who throws back the most food, though rookie Ali Marpet has been called out on Twitter for his impressive mowing down of Chik-fil-A sandwiches on team flights.

Or you could just go to the buffet and watch big people overeat. Making me hungry. Damn, the Bulls jumped out on Cincinnati with half the 1st quarter gone. Go Bulls!
