“This Week I Know We Have The Advantage”
November 12th, 2015It might be time to drug test former Cowboys guard and superstar Nate Newton.
He sounds like he’s still mixed up with hundreds of pounds of weed.
Newton now works for the Cowboys official website, and Joe’s watched way too many opinions there on Sunday’s Bucs-Cowboys games out of Dallas.
Newton, multiple times, has talked about how he’s convinced that Matt Cassel is a better quarterback than America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston.
“This week, I know we have the advantage at quarterback,” Newton bellows in this video.
The rest of the Cowboys’ insiders, who are known for being very harsh on the home team, all think the Cowboys are in great position to snap their six-game losing streak in Tampa. They’re all jacked up about Dez Bryant being back to 100 percent and they laugh at Mike Evans’ showing against the Giants.
Cassel is a sad sack quarterback nowadays, though much better than Josh McCown, as well as Kirk Cousins and Ryan Mallett, two guys who beat the Bucs already this season.
Regardless, the Bucs simply can’t lose this game.

Quarterback is possibly the only position we are better than the cowboys in.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:00 pm
I’d also take our MLB over theirs even if he is a rookie.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:02 pm
Cassel can barely wait for Sunday when he gets to set a new Cowboys passing record.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense: We make backup QB’s into starters!

When Sean Lee is healthy he is a bad arse. I am a huge Kwon fan but Lee is no slouch.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:05 pm
Exactly! The Bucs simply can’t lose this game. It’s that crucial, a must win. I know must win what a joke. Lovie is the HC. Is he good enough to coach his 2nd win at home over the reeling Cowboys who are slight favorites. Here’s where the poll numbers can change. Win the game. go Bucs

Stpetee
i do realize Lee plays both inside and outside now.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:07 pm
Don’t forget that they will have the home advantage as well for Dallas, Majority will be Dallas Fans at RJS stadium!!!!!
November 12th, 2015 at 4:09 pm
I’m not sure it’s a liking Cassel more as a QB. It’s more Matt Cassel vs. the Bucs defense or Jameis vs. the Cowboys defense. Given the track records, Matt Cassel is in for a borderline record day. Jameis? Might not be as easy.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:18 pm
To hell with the Cowgirls, this is buc’s country.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:30 pm
This is just fodder to keep us fans riled. What us do we expect Newton to say.
He’s a Cowboy vet…and still works for the ‘Boys. He’s PAID to think like this.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:36 pm
Maybe he meant advantage as in his QB is going against our defense, which is an advantage to any team playing us. If thats the case he’s absolutely correct.
November 12th, 2015 at 4:39 pm
Good thing Sean Lee is the most fragile player in the NFL
November 12th, 2015 at 4:51 pm
in the last 4 seasons he has missed 47 games
Incredible
November 12th, 2015 at 5:02 pm
Cowboys o line will dominate the time of possession and will be the reason they win
November 12th, 2015 at 5:16 pm
Bucs ferocious defense will make Cassel & co look like the Patriots. Then we get to hear how Evans is improving for only dropping 5 passes and hear GMC and LVD says they need to look at film. Humphries will be our leading WR and ASJ won’t play cuz he’s not up to it.
November 12th, 2015 at 5:22 pm
Bucs D actually played some of their best ball last week.
I expect them to play well, they finally got that easy slant covered.
I also expect Sterling to continue to play well, and to play with something to prove against his old team. Jude is a hidden gem in my opinion too.
November 12th, 2015 at 5:49 pm
How could they not be confident after watching game film of the Bucs defense? If I were an NCAA team coming in I’d bet I’d be confident. Anyone watching the Bucs can’t feel bad about their chances.
Let’s be honest, the Bucs have 2 wins over sad sacks and 1 over a team that looks to have been severely overrated. There isn’t much reason to favor them over the cowgirls.
November 12th, 2015 at 6:21 pm
lol smh
Cause it’s just the bucs D vs a Cassel led offense right? All game?
Our offense doesn’t take the field right?
ahahaha get outta here with that nonsense.
November 12th, 2015 at 6:44 pm
I could see the Bucs winning over Dallas. I just lack confidence that it will happen. Hope I’m wrong. If there is a way to lose the Bucs will find it. Or a shocker upset, Bucs squeak by. You have to admit it’s hard to imagine that finish.
November 12th, 2015 at 6:57 pm
YOUR HAVING SOME SERIOUS WEBSITE ISSUES TODAY JOE. NEED AN UPDATE OR SOMETHING. I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER 4+YEARS AND NEVER SEEN IT THIS BAD.
November 12th, 2015 at 7:11 pm
Winnable game for our Bucs. But like all of them..we gotta watch and hold our breathe. The Boys have beaten our Bucs what? 5 or 6 consecutive times? We need all hands on deck which…we do not have. ASJ will be watchin from the Hot Tub and Vincent is injured. Evans must catch everything and that’s not happening. I..as a Bucs fan give the edge to Dallas. Lets see which Defense shows up for us. That will be the key. If our D plays 25% better than last outing? We win. If Not? SOS.
November 12th, 2015 at 7:11 pm
Back up QB? They’re toast. Bucs don’t beat back ups!
November 12th, 2015 at 8:12 pm
Look, this game, like nearly every other gem the Bucs have played this year, comes down to this; the Bucs defense versus the opposing teams offense. And that is what scares me about this game. I do believe the Bucs offense will be able to score. The real question is will the Bucs be able to score ENOUGH? Lovies ” Cover Who?” Defense is really the weak link in the chain nowadays. I’m very impressed by Jameis Winston’s development so far. The o-line has blown me away with their ability to win the trench warfare. It’s the defense that seems confused week-in and week-out that is mind boggling. So the game this week vs the Cryboys comes down to can Lovie stop their offense enough for the good guys to hold a lead? I wouldn’t bet my house on it. He hasn’t shown an affinity for it this far(1 1/2 years later). Jameis if your reading this comment and you know Lovie has intervened with a play call, change the call at the line of scrimmage and go for the win. Amen.
November 12th, 2015 at 8:25 pm
I called a win against the G Men and if we don’t kick 4 FGs after being in their red zone, we probably would have. 4 FGs guys. Effing 4. So, I won’t even call this one. I will just say that we can and should win this game. Cassel sucks. Newton should do the Broncos analysis so he can legally smoke the chronic.
November 12th, 2015 at 8:29 pm
Man, what a sad dropoff us fans and the Bucs organization has suffered. Back in 2002, the line was “we make great qbs look terrible”. Now it has become “we make terrible qbs look great”. Man, we were so spoiled with our outstanding defense in the late 90’s, early 2000’s.
November 12th, 2015 at 8:45 pm
This isn’t the easy win everyone is saying it should be. This team is a playoff caliber team, the onlybthing hokding them back is their qb is hurt. That o line is still one of the best in football, and their defense hasnt been overwhelmingly bad. Their offense is set up better than the bucs, like i said above, our only strength is our qb. RB is also a plus for us, but with the cowboys o line it ends up as a wash. This is not an easy win. The bucs will have to play good football if they want to win, and that hasnt happened all season. Hard to expect them to just start doing it.
With all that said, i predict a bucs win. 31-21
November 12th, 2015 at 10:47 pm
Who said it was an easy win?? Have you been watching the Bucs games this season or any of the last 3 seasons? Easy win? WTF?
November 13th, 2015 at 12:21 am
With McDonald hurt and GMC trying to play injured, the DL backups are no match for the excellent Dallas OL AND their Star Receiver back, they are going to run over us. Jameis hasn’t mastered the red zone yet. Til he gets it down, that is one of the few things that Glennon is good at, so bring Glennon in and let him show Jameis how to score in the red zone against the Cowboys. Their DC knows the Buc’s system very well and can come up with different ways to beat us.
November 13th, 2015 at 2:55 am
Go Bucs…
#FreeTacko
November 13th, 2015 at 8:40 am
A lot of people who aren’t Bucs fans and don’t really follow football still hate Jameis! It’s sad really but hey, I bet a lot of u guys weren’t his biggest fan in college
November 13th, 2015 at 8:42 am
We should be able to overcome Matt Cassels career day and Dez Bryant’s 200 yard game with our run game and Jameis!
November 13th, 2015 at 9:59 am
NOTHING would make me happier than to see Jerry’s face after we make it 7 straight for his precious Cowgirls.
