Mike Evans Rises

The Bucs were knocked out by the Redskins, but at least Mike Evans answered the bell.
Evans erased mounting doubt surrounding a 10-game streak of average-to-below-average play.
With Vincent Jackson and Louis Murphy lost for most of the day with knee woes, Evans was a steady thorn in the Redskins’ defense — all over the field.
Evans finished with eight catches for 164 yards and a touchdown.
If he could somehow manage to better disguise his pushoffs — or just not do it! — then then he’s going to get even more dangerous.
At 22 years old, Evans is still learning — and that’s part of what makes his potential so special.
Joe sure hopes V-Jax’s injury isn’t serious. Joe would prefer Evans not have to suffer through an endless diet of double teams.

Time to get original.
The offense went turtle once up 24-0, and didn’t even try to get back into it until the score was 24-21. This is due to the direction given to the OC by Lovie, to play things close to the vest, once the team had a 3 score lead.
I’d understand playing it that way with 5 minutes left to go in the game with a 24 point lead (and even that’s not guaranteed, see 2003 game vs Indy), but with roughly 37 minutes to play, and to call off the dogs on offense, just didn’t make any sense.
Censor me if you want Joes, but I’ll keep saying, Lovie must be fired, and it cannot not happen soon enough. I’m not a season ticket holder, but I try to make it to one game a season, and typically purchase a few pieces of apparel throughout the year, but no more, not while Lovie is Head Coach. The ownership may be apathetic to what’s being put on the field, but I’m not, and I will not directly put one more cent into their coffers while he’s on the sidelines.
I have been and will be a Bucs fan for life, and will continue to support this team, even though I feel the current leadership will never get us back to NFL prominence.

He was our only receiver, really boneheaded move by management to only give us 3 decent receivers. Two of them are old and guess what, they are injured!! We have no WR’s. Forget depth!! we dont even have enough guys to play!!!
