Freakout: Cam Throws Pick, Brawls

Stinking Panthers QB Cam Newton goes mental after throwing a pick in practice today.
Since Bucs fans somehow have become hypersensitive about interceptions in practice, Joe has decided to offer stories on established star quarterbacks throwing picks in practice.
First it was Andrew Luck throwing three picks. Then it was Aaron Rodgers throwing five. Now it is the franchise quarterback of the defending NFC South champions, the Stinking Panthers, and that would be Cam Newton.
Today, the pride of Auburn not just threw a pick in practice, he decided to beat down the guy who picked him off. Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review has the details.
Tempers flared at Carolina Panthers’ training camp Monday morning when a fight between quarterback Cam Newton and cornerback Josh Norman ended up on the ground.
The surprising incident occurred when Norman intercepted Newton two plays into a team drill. After the pick, coaches yelled at Norman to continue running toward the end zone. Newton gave chase, and when Norman made it to the end zone, words were exchanged. Newton then shoved Norman in the face, and seconds later, the two were on the turf until they were separated by teammates.
After Newton yelled, “Hit me like that again; I know something,” linebacker Thomas Davis screamed, “That’s stupid.”
To show you how silly it is to pace up and down your living room in the middle of the night fretting about picks, you think Newton is going to get benched? Luck? Rodgers? Stop!
It’s not like “America’s Quarterback,” Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, is tossing a half-dozen interceptions in practice everyday. In fact, it seems from the last two practices, where Jameis has been particularly sharp, that maybe, just maybe he has turned the corner.

Personally, I think Panthers fans should be…in this instance.

Cam was pissed cause after the pick he was hit by one of the defensive players. He got up chased down Norman, who both have had issues with one another since last season, and ended up punching Norman after the initial scuffle. Both players were set down after practice by Thomas Davis and told to knock it off.
Its training camp and fights happen at all of them. Its part of it and usually brings players closer together. Both guys beefed last season. But after Norman would make a pick Cam would be one of the 1st guys on the field celebrating with him.
The media puts their version out to get more hits and people talking about it…same ole’ story

Scam is the emotional equivalent of an insecure pre-teen girl.
Jameis already looks like twice the man that Scam is.
I really hope the Bucs lay waste to the Panthers offensive game plan
and the icing on the cake would be is Americas Quarterback, in a brief

Jameis Winston runs the ball in from the two yard line and then
pulls at his jersey to expose the “S” for Superman
and then the Bucs go up 35-10 over the stinking Panthers in the 4th quarter.
Cam has a temper tantrum and is ejected.
