Leave Jameis Alone!

May 7th, 2015
More preaching.

More preaching.

Joe really wants to know who crowned Father Dungy as the spokesperson/chaplain of the Tampa Bay sports community?

Once again, the failed former Bucs coach is piping up about Jameis Winston, Bucs quarterback for not quite a week.

Yesterday, USA Today ran a story, typed by Lindsay H. Jones, in which for reasons Joe isn’t quite sure, he decided to get ahold of Father Dungy to weigh in about Winston and the Tampa Bay community.

Why she didn’t reach out to Archbishop Lynch of the Diocese of St. Petersburg isn’t entirely clear.

The article seemed innocent enough until Joe read the following quote from Father Dungy about Winston being a local resident of the Tampa Bay area:

“He’s going to have prove himself.”

Prove himself to who, exactly?

This just in: Father Dungy was fired from the Bucs because he failed to get the Bucs to the Super Bowl, despite having one of the game’s greatest defenses, largely because Father Dungy had no use for an offense.

Over a decade later, Father Dungy did his best to force a quarterback onto the Bucs (no matter the fact he is not employed by the Bucs), mainly because his son played with the guy in college (Marcus Mariota). Father Dungy wanted him in town so bad. Now Father Dungy is setting parameters as to how/when/if Winston will be accepted by locals? That’s pretty rich.

Aside from someone with the last name “Glazer,” the only two people Winston needs to prove himself to are named “Jason Licht” and “Lovie Smith.” Those guys stuck out their necks for him when every wet nurse and do-gooder and tree-hugger in the free world wanted Winston behind bars — just because. Winston doesn’t need to kiss anyone else’s ring(s).

All Winston needs to do is play decent football and not pull childish stunts and he will be just fine. He doesn’t have to prove himself to a soul outside of One Buc Palace.

Another thing that irked Joe about Jones’ piece was the following take:

Winston comes to town with more off-field baggage than perhaps any previous No. 1 pick.

Hey, honey: Do a little bit of research, huh? Ever hear of Cam Newton? Know what he did at Florida? Know why he didn’t finish college at Florida? Know how he showed up at Auburn? How about lifting the veil from Peyton Manning? Google is your friend.

What Winston did, by comparison, are children’s pranks.

  3. itsabuclie Says:

Who listens to this fanatical bible thumping homophobe any more?this is a guy who would of picked RGIII over Luck. If Winston praised Jesus after every sentence he would love him.

  4. Tampa Tony Says:

The Failed former coach? Wish the Joes were this hard on the rockstar. Dingy did a lot for this franchise so I respect his opinions, just not when it comes to qbs.

  5. BucTrooper Says:

It’s ironic that the guy who stuck with Clyde Christianson too long is passing judgement on someone who has to prove themselves.

  6. Teacherman777 Says:

    @itsabucslife

Youre right. Tony is a zealout.

He is from another era. His mind is limited.

  7. JoeJoes Fungi Nails Says:

Well Joe……he is going to have to prove himself to ME…..Jameis has been associated with a trail of poor behavior and decision

  8. Chris Says:

Joe, we heard of cam newton and he came with less questions and baggage as mr Winston does. You can defend him all you want. No one is wishing failure on Winston. But you have to agree. He has to earn the trust of the organization and win over the fans. He’s gone a full 8 months without an off field incident. That’s not enough time Joe to say he’s “matured”. Hence the crab leg photos on the night of the draft.

  9. Patrick in VA Says:

Seems odd that Dungy is so down on Winston when he couldn’t wait to carry the flag for Mike Vick. Winston makes a few dumb things that ultimately don’t matter and Vick is involved in not just fighting dogs but brutally killing them and that’s the guy that Dungy wants to run and defend. I don’t know what it is about Winston but there’s something about him that just makes some people want to believe he’s an awful person.

  10. Rrsrq Says:

C’mon Joe, Coach Dungy was asked about the Bucs pic, he said he felt good about the pick because he knows the abuvs did their due diligence. He admitted to being selfish on Mariotta because he had been around the guy for the last thre years. He satiated like everyone else, L & L included, that Jameis do s have work to do and is a polarizing figure, and He is. I’m rooting for him period, but because he is a Buc even more so and I am no Noles fan.

  11. Chris Says:

How much disrespect is being showed towards tony dungy? What he did for this organization was phenomenal. He turned a turd of a franchise around into a consistent winner. Yeah he never got them to a super bowl. But I wouldn’t call him a failure Joe.

I mean we can call all your qb suggestions for the bucs failures as well no? #manziel

  12. Patrick in VA Says:

@chris – it would be different if Dungy weighed in on the defense once in a while or anything else that he has shown that he knows something about. All i ever hear from Dungy is him talking about QBs or other offensive issues. I get that he’s a TV guy and offense is what people like to see on TV but it’s hard to listen to him talk like he knows anything about QBs

  13. Phil Says:

I guess Dungy all the times he’s been to church never heard “If you don’t have something nice to say then say nothing at all”. I think that would apply here. Jameis doesn’t had to “prove himself” to dungy or anyone else. He just needs to go play quarterback and stay out of trouble and he’ll be find. Can’t wait for him to hit the practice field tomorrow.

  14. thunderchunkyPA Says:

Patrick in VA has it right. He went to bat for Vick, got him a job with Philly, and could not stop raving about how great a dude he is. most people said it was due to the fact he was trying to help a fellow African American, well that is not the case then is it. Why run down Jameis?

  15. JoeJoes Fungi Nails Says:

Jameis has MUCH to PROVE…both on and off the field…….

  16. Mariota Joe Says:

Wow….pretty amazing how JBF and his minions are willing to trash the good man that was so instrumental in creating a great Buccaneer era. Once again, all credit is due to the Great Divider. Infamous does NOT have to prove himself. He already has. Pfffffttt!!!

And JBF says….”All Winston needs to do is play decent football and not pull childish stunts and he will be just fine.” Two things….”decent football”?? Seriously, after ALL the accolades you’ve thrown at this POC, Joe??? And “not pull childish stunts”? ….such as “getting too handsy”?? (Joe’s words, not mine).

  17. Daryl Says:

Joe, I was with you until the “childish pranks” line. C’mon, I believe the young coed was a willing participant, but roommate taking pictures and then yelling “I $&@*ed her…” Showed that he was a deviant. Peyton mooned someone, now Cam I agree is crooked, but “childish pranks”. Please Joe put the garnet and gold crab leg down and put your pewter and red glasses on so you can see that this pick might (hope I’m wrong) set this franchise back to Yucs era for 5-10 years

  18. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Circle the Wagons

Jameis will be constantly under attack…..and it is a forgone conclusion that he has to prove himself……Hell….Glennon did/does….McCown did….everybody has to prove themselves daily.

This is mild in comparison to other critics.

Notice to Winston supporters….don’t take the bait or the debate will needlessly continue.

  19. Mariota Joe Says:

    Well said, Daryl…..

  20. DooshLaRue Says:

    Doesn’t Dungy know that…….
    JOE KNOWS QUARTERBACKS?

  21. Bendiesel Says:

Well said Chris, well said. I think the Joe’s ought to be concentrating on what they do for the organization and community before lifting their hypocritical nose at Mr. Dungy, which by the way is one of the most well respected man in the NFL! This guy brought respect to a consistently failing organization, and has done a lot for this community, and like the Joe’s is intitled to his opinion, and if it was up to the JOe’s we would be stuck with rehab boy Manzie instead of Winston, or Mariota.

  22. Bird Says:

Yah. Think. I’m done with this site. Hey I’m down with Jameis even though he makes me nervous. I want the qb that gives them the most wins Joe attacking dungy because he said something about proving himself. He does have to prove himself to just more than Jason licht and lovie smith and the glazers. Maybe his teammates, the community that he can stay clean/doing childish things in the big boy
Nfl. Every player does. Yet. U attack dungy who made football in this town relevant. It’s called the Tampa two. Joe -u are entitled to your opinion especially on your own website but it’s taken a turn to covering one thing
And backing one person. Your man crush. Jameis. I used to love this site cause you have so many articles on the bucs. Now it’s just about one Buc. Classic joe attacking dungy like joe is somebody. Adios muchachos and go bucs! Really excited about this year now that we have a legit quarterback. Joe. Change your website to joejameisfan.com

  23. bucs4lyfe Says:

a lot of what these players do in the community goes unnoticed except if your impacted, I remember being at a local school for handicapped and raheem morris showed up with a few players but there was no media coverage of it. this pick was about football, all this guy has to do is be good at it and give back to the community that supports him and I think he will do that, I think he will do silly childish things and I don’t think it’s a good idea for him to be the leader in the lockerroom just yet if he’s a great player for us. Dungy is associated with football history nothing more now

  24. kyle Says:

Joe, Ive been on the Winston Bandwagon since we earned the first pick. I do however believe that your off base on this one. it appears you are reading too much into the quote in order to stir the jbf readers up. Tony Dungy has always been a class act and if it wasn’t for him the bucs would of never climbed out of the 20 year hole they were in. He is a leader in the community and simply voiced an opinion regarding Winston. Winston has to prove himself, because of his actions, warranted or not, he got his self into this situation. Only he can get out of it.

  25. Skyline Crew Says:

Ah, so anyone that thinks Winston has to prove himself you will now discredit and attempt to run them down. Got it. Reality check, Winston does have to prove himself to the Bucs and the Bucs fan. Outside of that he does not have to prove himself. Also, if you think stealing a laptop is the same as rape charges and stealing crab legs and shooting out windows and being suspended from a baseball game and a football game then you might want to look at yourself. They aren’t comparable. So yes, Winston does come with the most baggage of a #1 pick.

  26. Skyline Crew Says:

So now we stoop to attacking people who think Winston have to prove himself? FYI, he does have to prove himself. Also, he does come with the most baggage as a #1 pick and there is really no debate about it. What he has done and been accused of is no way less than taking a laptop or mooning someone. I think you need a vacation Joe. Take some time off and get this man crush out of your system and then come back when you can start talking about Bucs football again instead of one person and attacking everyone with a different opinion than yours.

  27. Patrick in VA Says:

Just as a reminder to everyone, just because Dungy spends a lot of time talking about a guy that was supposed to have walked on water doesn’t mean that he himself is capable as well. The man is not infallible and he is not above reproach. He built a great defense and we all respect him for that. That’s about the end of it.

  28. TouchDownTampaBay Says:

Lol, yeah Joe should not right articles about the most important draft pick in Buc history that was drafted just a week ago. The Bucs finally have what may be a legitimate franchise QB! I don’t really agree with him regarding Dungy’s statement as it was a reasonable thing to say based on Winston’s mistakes in the past. Keep the articles coming Joe. I don’t have to agree with everything you say but I do like to hear news about Winston.

Mariota Joe, please move to Nashvile and stay off this site!

  29. Patrick in VA Says:

He has to prove himself the same as every other player in the league has to prove themselves. Not one of them have played a down in the NFL so they all have to prove that they can do it on this level. Singling him out as someone who has more to prove than anyone else is the issue at hand and there’s no reason that Winston should have more to prove than, say, Mariota who was taken but one pick behind Winston. They’re neck and neck as the top two overall picks who play the same position so they both have to prove themselves equally

  30. Dreambig Says:

This story is on several news outlets. if you read the entirety of what Dungy said, he was not being overly negitive about Winston. He said he was comfortable with him, he indicated that he talked to people he knows at FSU and they had nothing but great things to say about him. He did say he liked Mariota because he knew him personally for the last 3 years, but he thought Jamies would be fine. There are enough dummies still propagating stupid stuff about Jameis, I don’t think Dungy is really in that camp. He is allowed to like Mariota with out being one of the stupid people overhyping the character issue.

  31. bucs4lyfe Says:

No draft picks sets a franchise back 5 years anymore where have you been since the last CBA. Winston’s contract was done like 2 days after he was drafted, nothing stops a franchise from drafting a quarterback every year until they get one right which is why the titans took a quarterback after taking zach mettenberger in last years draft

  32. Clodhopper Says:

Great rant!! I swear, I could hear a harp playing in the background while I was reading that.

  33. BucinNC Says:

He’s the number one overall pick in the nfl draft. Jameis absolutely has something to prove, both on and off the field. Period. As the face of the franchise he has to be squeaky clean off the field and on the field he needs to prove he was the right pick at number one. If mariota goes on to be great and winston is average, it would be the most devastating thing to ever happen to this franchise. It’s a big if…

The standards for winston are higher.

  34. Joseph Mamma Says:

Joe you are talking about a guy (Dungy) who is up for Hall of Fame discussion every single year. His opinion matters period.

  35. joeNUTS Says:

I understand that we are concerned for JW. Dungy has earned the right to give his opinion and I listen more closely to what he says than Joe because he knows more about football than Joe.

You dont get sued for 7 million over a childish prank so your description of the events is probably up for review. JW does have to earn the respect of his teammates and this community. He even acknowledged that in his first press conference….if I recall it was one of the first things he said.

RE: legal post on JW>> First, this legal maneuver happens daily. It is commonplace to change the venue of a Court proceeding when the damages sought do match the parameters of the Court. I noticed how the word REMOVE and it is proper in the legal sense but in reality this is a change of venue or MOVE. Nothing is being removed as it pertains to the legal process. Good luck in Federal Court….different set of rules and no passes for athletes. I expect JW to settle this as training camp looms closer.

  36. Espo Says:

Geez guys he was asked a question and he answered it. Proving himself is about a generic and non committal answer there is. Like a damn soap opera around here.

  38. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Joe should save his defense of Winston when he really needs defending…..this is rapidly becoming a “cry wolf” situation….

  39. Buccfan37 Says:

Like I’ve said in the past, Dungy lights up like a flood light when the camera is on him, that is his favorite moments. I wouldn’t be upset if he flapped those huge spocklike ears and exited stage left like a vampire.

  40. bucs fan007 Says:

This just in, all Rookies have to prove themselves ……… Whoa !

  41. tmaxcon Says:

Dungy is totally irrelevant and should stick to hanging out in prisons with his projects. Please fool leave offensive football comments to those qualified to speak on the subject. Dungy doesn’t deserve to be in HOF… he turned bucs around but couldn’t finish. Dungy cost the bucs 2 super bowls and the Colts 1. just like the clown lovie smith dungy let his stubbornness and inability to adapt cost this team and town. Too many of you people confuse one being a nice guy or a good man with being a good coach. dungy and lovie are mediocre coaches period the numbers don’t lie.

  42. Espo Says:

    Wow how quickly we forget…

  43. Mariota Joe Says:

TouchDownTampaBay…………………..no. Glad you read my stuff though. And you’ll continue to read it. Infamous proves once again, here in this thread, that he is without a doubt, THE absolute most polarizing figure to ever plague this beloved franchise. Even Buc lovers (JBF) have resorted to trashing the most beloved coach in Buc history…..all in defense of this Infamous POC. Deal with it.

  44. tmaxcon Says:

    Esp

    How quickly we forget…

Forget what??? dungy wasting one of the greatest defenses the league has ever seen.??? ow quickly we forget dungy inability to adapt or being so stubborn ownership showed him the door. why does dungy get a lifetime free pass… he deserves all the credit in the world gor turning team around but he did not finish the job he was fired. Stop confusing nice guy with great coach

  45. Skyline Crew Says:

Then we should only listen to QBs about other QBs. So anytime Brooks has something to say I expect you all to attack him equally. Same for any other former Bucs player that has something to say, oh wait they already have, but it is was in favor of Winston so that was cool with you, but Dungy sucks at life and is the worst coach ever and should never speak of a QB because he said Winston had to prove himself. You Winston lovers are amazing. You will be the reason most people won’t like Winston.

  46. Ed Kerber Says:

Joe, really?!? Didn’t Dungy ask Sapp to prove himself, Alstott to prove himself? There are only failed coaches in Bucs history. Dungy, in my opinion was the best. You could say Gruden, but he sent the Zbu s in the wrong direction after his first season. Dungy’s teams headed in the winning direction. The two offensive coordinators that Dungy hired on his own and takes the most heat for (Shula and Christensen)are STILL coaching in the NFL. Two of the quarterbacks Dungy picked to lead his team won Superbowls. The third was just a few points away from winning the NFC Championship. Oh look through the archives Dungy tried to hire three other offensive coaches: Bruce Arians, Norv Turner. And Tom Moore. Not a bad track record! Let’s try this one– failed Bucs talent evaluator JoeBucsfan, would rather have Johnny Manziel than offensive rookie if the year candidate Mike Evans!!! When asked about Joe’s football knowledge, failed Bucs coach (and what coach hadn’t failed at the Bucs) Father Dungy told local reporters that Joe “will have to prove his” ability to them Tamoa community.

  47. LargoBuc Says:

This is little more than an opinion piece. The sad thing is that alot of ignorant people will read this and accept it as fact with out digging any deeper, never questioning if what they know is right (or wrong), part which is the sickening need for entitlement. Which is being done not just here, but by every outlet trying to give their two cents, in this case, at the expense of Jameis Winston. It’s easier to join the chorus trying to makw Jameis out to be a monster than it is to look at facts and reach your own conclusion. People dont want Jameis to be a good person. They want him to be some jerk, just to make them feel better about themselves and their own shortcomings in life.
Whats true is that if Jameis never was a potential Buc, I never would’ve done the research that I have and I eould walk around ignorant about the subject like so many others. And I wouldn’t care how far up my as$ my head is. Ignorance is bliss!
One point I must bring up. Dungy’s word holds alot of weight in these parts. No he’s not the end all be all opinion of Tampa, but I cant qiestion him or how much his opinion means regarding the Bay area just because his opinion differs than my own.

  48. miken Says:

Father Dungy was one of just 3 coaches to lead the Bucs to the NFC championship game… He’s right , all #1 picks have a lot to prove. The bucs have made a huge investment… relevencys, jobs, fans, and lots of $ is at stake…. Jameis has to prove he is worth the investment. He has also promised the bs in the past is over. Its silly to bring peyton or cam into the equation, kid needs to be a pro and do his job now, and the woman is right, no other #1 pick has brought this kind of spot light.

  49. Jimbo Says:

In 6 seasons with the Bucs, he took us to the playoffs 4 times. In his next head coaching gig, he won a Super Bowl.
Failure? Whoever wrote this article sounds a bit bitter. Must have been snubbed for an interview. Hahaa

  50. Eric Says:

Every player in the draft has something to prove.

Actually every player on this team has something to prove.

    As does the coaching staff.

    And the GM….

  51. Greg Says:

I agree with the comments of over-rated Dungy. Joe however is being a huge hypocrite. Where was this Dungy criticism before he commented on Joes secret lover Jameis. Of course Jameis has a lot to prove. He has to show that he will treat this position like a professional and commit himself to remembering who and where he is off the field which he has not done yet in his football career. I hope he does but to get on your high horse every time someone questions Jameis is unprofessional of Joe.

If he is charitable, stays out of trouble, and wins football games, there will be nothing left for the haters except for memories of a college kid.

  56. Espo Says:

    @tmaxcon

And some of you wonder why I call out all of these type of people. They want to comment on something and they don’t even know the facts. How is that even possible?

  61. WS99 Says:

Once again, the failed former Bucs coach is piping up about Jameis Winston, Bucs quarterback for not quite a week.

    ………………

Failed? You wrong for that Joe. He is no where near a failure. Not only did he resurrect this franchise he’s got several rings as a player and a coach and is the first black coach to win a SB. Far from a failed coach. All while mourning the loss of a son. Which would cause any number of parents to find a deep cave to crawl into and “live” out the rest of their depressed and shattered lives.

You over stepped on this one brother, lol, but I love the passion.

  62. Architek Says:

First off- the media continues to crucify Jameis for things that don’t matter and has nothing to do with his play.

Manning, Sanchez, Newton, and others all had baggage but what makes Jameis baggage that much more a risks than any other young player that has to learn to be a pro.

I guess they have to find something to write about because on the field he’s a beast and yes including the INTs. I don’t feel it’s per say “racially” driven but there is less room for error it seems. It’s almost like they want this kid to be a robot and not live and grow.

Dungy is flat out wrong! He appears to have his own agendas as well. How can you personally claim Vick as a rehab project and your mentored pupil after fighting and killing dogs but constantly publicly criticize Jameis who haven’t killed or been convicted of hurting anyone.

Dungy has his own issues he has to manage and he should stick to that and his plate should be full enough to mind his business.

    ———————————
Set the franchise back 5-10 years? Maybe in 1985. There is a new CBA which means Jacksonville can draft Blane Gabbert and three years later draft Blake Bortles. Or you can be Minnesota and draft Christian Ponder and three years later draft Bridgewater. Or you can be Tennessee and draft Jake Lockler and two years later draft Zack Mettenberger or three years draft Mariota. If Winston doesn’t work, we will be in the hunt in 2-3 years for a new QB. Its not the end of the world if he sucks as you are trying to make it out to be. Try to keep up with the times. This is not 1985.

  64. Tomcin Says:

Father (ha ha) Dungy you couldn’t take care of your own family. Leave the Buc family alone. Go ruin another team.

  65. TheWatcher Says:

The Fact remains that the majority of Bucs fans didn’t want Winston drafted here. However, the Bucs decided that they would draft him anyway and hopefully those fans would come on board if the team starts winning again. I’m sure that a lot of those fans still don’t approve of the drafting of Winston despite being force-fed a huge daily dose of PR Winston love.
Does Winston have to prove himself to the Bucs and the fans? Absolutely
Does Winston come with major baggage? More than Samsonite
Winston has been given the chance to be who the Bucs want him to be and hope that he is. Let’s all hope that he doesn’t turn out to be the person that all of those leary Bucs fans think that he is

Where is your data to backup this outlandish statement. Funny how people like you and others think that Jameis owes you. He showed you clowns who he owed on draft day, his family and the Bucs organization.

HE DOESNT OWE YOU IDIOTS A THING. You don’t pay his salary nerds!

  69. Mariota Joe Says:

But Architek….we DO feed the economic system of the NFL. WE ARE the customers. Besides, TheWatcher never even said the word “owes”. (Although he will soon owe a certain woman a LOT of dough very soon.) Now who’s the idiot?

  70. drdneast Says:

I hate to agree with anything Tmaxcon says but have to say he has a strong point about Dungy’s record. I do disagree that he was a mediocre coach though. Probably should land in the Very Good catergory but don’t think that should put you in the HOF.

  71. Curse of Gruden Says:

    You go Joe!!!

  72. drdneast Says:

    Great link TinyTim.
Unfortunately a lot of the reasoning has led o hubris in today’s society.
Just because you tell yourself you are smart and believe it doesn’t necessarily make it so.
Still, it was generally good advice to kids.
Have to disagree with him when he stated that having good grades will take one farther in life than having a pretty smile.
Unfortunately, our society overemphasizes having good looks.
Living proof of that is Joe, who fawns and slobbers over female sportscasters and thinks they are qualified to do the job because they are pretty and have great racks.
The way he sucked up to those women reporters at the Super Bowl was not only laughable, but pathetic as well.

  73. Architek Says:

    Mariota Joe-
You should’ve learned on yesterday who to engage and not engage with a substantial debate.

To answer your question – the idiot is you if you think the Glazers need your money. The stadium and concessions are a revenue stream of many others but to answer your question no they don’t need is. They are multiple times over billionaires and their others businesses alone can pay for their payroll.

How is it you think the blackouts lasted so long and the stadium isn’t packed yet they’re still clearing hundreds of millions on this team.

They have TV revenue and merchandise and other revenue generators that “feed” into their model. No they don’t need you and neither does this site turd.

  74. Architek Says:

Doe he may owe the “girl” soon – you mean the potential 15k???

You’re a joke son, go back to the fan hole you crawled from.

  75. Erik the WiseMMan Says:

Every single coach in frachise history has been a failure, except Gruden and maybe McKay. Dungy has done more and will do more for the Bucs than either one of the bloggers at JoeBucsFan. Show some respect. Winston does have alot to price to this community. And he will do that by winning on the field and not doing anything stupid enough off-the-field to get suspended by Goodell.

  76. Erik the WiseMMan Says:

    Prove not price

  77. delson Says:

Wow I hope to never see tomcin on this phukin site again

  78. JFF Says:

    Good take(s) Joe. I agree!

  79. Phillip Says:

    @Joe

Like how you assume that’s the major reason why he wanted Mariota in Tampa.. Were you hanging out with Dungy every Saturday during the college football season? He could have watched BOTH and came away with the same analysis as others and thought Mariota is the better QB long-term. But as you say since when did Dungy become this QB guru?? Same can be said for Lovie Smith though.. Lovie I distinctly remember saying he wanted input and past Bucs to be around so you get what you asked for imo.

That line about Winston having the most off the field incidents ever to be a number one pick has been said NUMEROUS times from MULTIPLE people.. Are you seriously just now picking up on that? It’s also a factual statement.. Seven off the field incidents according to Mel Kiper(don’t know what they are as I don’t care about that stuff as long as he doesn’t do anymore stupid sh!t while he’s here)..

With ALL that said yes I think Tampa Bay community(and Bucs fanbase) should embrace the kid until or if he does something stupid. Or is in a situation he should never put himself in the first place.

    Mariota Joe-
You should’ve learned on yesterday who to engage and not engage with a substantial debate.

Well, I obviously picked on an imbecile, and I apologize, as that is inherently unfair. All those stated revenues come from ______? Fill in the blank, idiot. And the $15k in the court case? Dummy, that number in civil court is only used to establish the minimum amount, therefore determining in which freaking court the case will be tried (i.e., not in a small claims court).

  82. Architek Says:

    Mariota Idiot-
Mark it down and we have witnesses – this is no longer a federal or state trial. It’s a civil suit and I’m done responding to you.

  84. Architek Says:

Does the word excess mean anything???

And you go and look up the Glazers revenue stream – I assure they don’t need sloppy fans like you.

This is obviously a guy who has no clue what he is talking about. Winston did not say I F*$@ed her. News flash…..Google is your friend. Stop making things up. And some of you wonder why I call out all of these type of people. They want to comment on something and they don’t even know the facts. How is that even possible?

Tiny Tim, put down the violin and please tell me that deadspin is wrong because you were there. He said to be exact “$&@; her in the @&$$/”. My bad, so much better to be exact #choirboy

The COC hearing had the same 51% threshold to be found liable that a civil trial does. But, in the COC hearing, Kinsman did not have to be deposed nor cross examined by an opposing attorney. And, she still lost. And, with the plethora of testimony and physically evidence that refutes her multiple versions of events, opposing counsel will eviscerate her.

Her absolute best hope is a settlement. But, what’s the advantage for Winston to settle? Should he be concerned about bad PR? LOL. It’s all already out there, he can’t look worse. In fact, settling would be taken by some as an admission. Her word is the ONLY thing she has, and it’s been repeatedly shown to be unreliable.

I hope she sticks with the complaint and loses. Again.

And you still don’t get it. Understand that when he said FHITP, that was not in relation to Erica Kinsman, it was in relation to the internet joke that was going around which by the way was almost two years after the allege rape. Where have you been? Under a freaking rock? The way you argued your initial point (your exact words are as follows) “I believe the young coed was a willing participant, but roommate taking pictures and then yelling “I $&@*ed her…” Showed that he was a deviant.

Obviously you had no freaking clue as to what you were talking about. By stating he said “I F#$%ed her” was misleading and incorrect. Even if you quoted Jameis correctly, your argument would have still been misleading because you feel as though he said FHITP as it relates to Kinsman. So again, make sure you have your facts in order if you are going to have an opinion. That is all I ask.

  90. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

Tony Dungy is not a “failed buc coach”, Joe.

If anything, he is the most successful coach we’ve had. He built a steady winning team.

Gruden, meanwhile, only had success every other year until the end.

Dungy made the league respect us.

Gruden started our downward spiral. He shot his load his first year, and then that was that, except for getting us into cap hell and chasing off our best players.
