Adam Schein Is No Fan Of The Bucs Offense

Sometimes Joe is knocked for “being negative.” Joe considers it honesty. Joe calls it as he sees it.
For evidence, look at the positive stories Joe wrote when he spoke to Kellen Winslow. Look at the positive story Joe had when he spoke with Ronde Barber. Look at the positive story when Joe met with Sabby Piscitelli.
Joe would love nothing more than for every player on the Bucs to make the Pro Bowl and win the Super Bowl. Let’s be real: Joe doesn’t go to the CITS and bake in the late summer sun to root against his team.
So for those who think Joe doesn’t like quarterback bust-in-waiting Josh Freeman — which Joe has detailed isn’t true — Joe suggests you take a gander at a video by Adam Schein of FoxSports.com.
After watching the video, Joe looks like Freeman’s biggest cheerleader.

Although I feel like this team is in a rebuilding mode and will struggle, who the hell is Adam Schein? While the athletes in his school were sweating their asses off he was in crisp, cool air conditioning honing his craft: writing & broadcasting. You gotta love the media!

Schein works for Sirius NFL Radio, SNY (which is sort of an ESPN-like cable network based out of New York which only covers New York sports) and of course Fox Sports. He’s pretty well plugged in with the NFL.

To your point about “the media.”
Joe is one guy who knows about the toil it takes to play football, somewhat.
Though Joe was barely an average high school football player, Joe had to bust his rear end to be tolerable; had to run track in the spring (which helped a great deal).
Joe wasn’t appreciative at the time, but his high school coach had just retired from the NFL. He played for the Cowboys, Raiders and Jets. His three head coaches were Tom Landry, John Madden and Lou Holtz.
A few years after high school while in college, Joe covered an NFL training camp. The coach of the NFL team? Gene Stallings, who just happened to be the position coach of Joe’s high school coach. Stallings vividly remembered Joe’s high school coach and spoke warmly of him. As a result, Joe became very tight with Stallings (more so than other writers).
If anyone knows anything about football history, you will know Stallings background. It’s impressive.
Joe didn’t fully realize until afterwards what a great coach Joe had. It kills Joe that he’s forgotten so much.
Joe isn’t trying to say he knows more football than most. Hardly. But Joe learned at an early age what great guys coaches are and deeply respects them. Joe thinks as much of his old high school coach as he does his dad.
Now Joe never played college football or the NFL. But Joe appreciates how much work it takes to get to that level, and always has a soft spot for coaches.
What Joe is trying to say is, just because someone types and talks for a living doesn’t mean that person doesn’t know or doesn’t appreciate football.

I can’t help but think your inclusion of the links in this post were to try to prove that you actually get players for interviews, thereby trying to illustrate that this site is legit. I think it actually hurts your argument. Two interviews from last year following a preseason game? That hardly screams that you have an in with the Buccaneers.

1) You are very astute. You get to move to the front of the class. The inclusion is to prove a point: People claim Joe is all negative which is terribly inaccurate.
2) Come to think of it, those interviews were a figment of Joe’s imagination. Not.
3) Joe doesn’t have an “in” with the Bucs, nor does he want one.
