Chucky And Brett Hundley
March 13th, 2015During the 2013 college football season, Joe thought Brett Hundley was the next best stud quarterback. After Jameis Winston, that is. Joe was really impressed.
However, Joe read a lot of former NFL personnel guys who were anything but fond of Hundley’s skills, and that turned Joe off.
Now, with the 2015 draft eight weeks away, it’s that time of the year when Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Chucky sits down with the top quarterback prospects for a series of whiteboard and on-field quizzes.
Below, courtesy of BSPN, is a highlight of Chucky’s session with Hundley.

Nice Video

trade back, build the trenches and maybe grab this kid

Derrick Morgan re-signs with Tennessee.
This team has no offensive line and nothing but 6’2″ 260lb DEs.
What the hell is going on?
Go sucs!

I enjoyed listening to him speak at combine and video. Likeable.

Yea, but has he ever said a naughty word or shot a bb gun? If so, then it’s OFF WITH HIS HEAD
March 13th, 2015 at 11:09 am
No Creamsickle…has he ever been accused of rape and while the sordid investigation played out, hanging over his head and his program’s, THEN gone out to hurl an f her in the pssy remark getting himself suspended from one of the most important games of the regular season.
Now Creamsickle IF Hundley had done that…much less adding in the crab legs…the bb guns…the PATTERN of feeling above the law…then you delusional if you don’t understand that Hundley would be going through EXACTLY what Fameis Jaboo is putting up with now. You reap what you sew!!!
Just so there is no misunderstanding. I am not against draft Fameis…he’s simply not my first choice.
But he’s not being persecuted…he’s brought all of this on himself!

SPBF, let’s not forget about signing autographs for money and point shaving. Jameis also brought those scandals upon himself as well

Creamsickle
Like your posts but you need to lose the persecution complex. I certainly agree that the fake controversies have nothing to do with Jameis, other than the fact that once you open Pandora’s box with poor behavior people pile on.
I am truly sympathetic to Fameis plight. He was a 19 year old kid thrust into being the face of the FSU National Champions long before he was mature enough to handle it. He’s been told how great he is and that he can pretty much do whatever he wants since he been a young teen with that 97MPH fastball.
The culture certainly did Fameis no favors and so I have “some” sympathy.
But he’s not being persecuted and it was is BEHAVIOR that brought most of this stuff on.
But if you want me to say it evovled into a feeding frenzy with people piling on and some of them using racist language I think you’re absolutely right.
But other folks horrid behavior doesn’t give Fameis a free pass. Hopefully wherever he ends up he can overcome the challenge of fame and soon…millions and millions of dollars. It’s all very heady, tempting and difficult for anybody to truly deal with. That is what we are really questioning.
Can he handle it. For his sake…and possibly the Bucs if we draft him…I truly hope he can.

BTW Creamsickle I remain hopeful for Fameis. And what he did pales in comparison to Ray Lewis! Lewis got away with murder…literally….or at least being involved and messing with the evidence. Fameis has done nothing to compare to what Lewis did that night.
And yet Lewis did learn from that experience and turned his life around. Good for Ray and good for Jameis if he can do the same thing.

If the powers that be decided to either draft Williams or trade down and get this kid, I would totally be on board with that.

Impressive young guy. It might take a few years of patience for him to flourish in the NFL, but he could surprise. Wish him well!

DE, William Gholston – 6’6″/281 lbs
I can almost guarantee that we’ll be adding another DE or 2 before the season starts.

Great tape, love the strong arm & athleticism. I would trade back with the right offer!!!

Impressive. Smart, confident, talented player. Maybe he should be in the conversation. We’ll see if the Bucs bring him in for a visit.

Like this guy more every time I see him. Too bad being on the east coast I never saw him on field much. IMO, the Bucs can’t pass up on Winston at #1, but I could easily find myself rooting for this guy otherwise.
Oh, I miss Chucky.

I only saw him in one game and wasn’t impressed. Maybe I caught him on a bad day I dunno.
March 13th, 2015 at 3:03 pm
Watched him play a few times against really pathetic schools and he did not look very good. I wouldn’t touch him. If we aren’t taking Winston then I’m all in on Glennon

Thank you Celly, you beat me to it. ElioT is often wrong about most of his beliefs in regards to the Bucs.

I was high on this kid for the past 2 years and am not going to back down now.. If we do trade back(still prefer Mariota but this is my 2nd choice) I’m ALL for this kid sitting for a year or two behind Glennon or whoever the starter is and roll him out when he’s ready.. He’s got all the talent in the world just needs better pocket presence. People said the same stuff about him as they did about Derek Carr last year.. I’m kicking myself if I’m Bucs right now that we didn’t trade up and grab him.

I’d rather have Hundley than Kid Fameis – for one main reason: Kid Fameis can’t get out of his own way…this guy’s MUCH quicker in every drill than the QB with THE SLOWESR reaction time in this draft…Kid Fameis.
See, if you AREN’T happy with the idea of picking Mariota because he won’t be on the field – for possibly the entire first season…you’re not going to be satisfied when you realize Kid Fameis slow-footed ways, coupled with a SUCK offensive line…would relegate Kid Fameis to the bench until they find an offensive line that can be built to protect him…and THAT’S going to take a couple of years (at least).
Hundley is quick, has nice feet and seems to illicit the same “tight window” comments as Kid Fameis…with AS big an arm…
Winner, winner, chicken dinner…unless Mariota is a Buc.
