I agree that i would much rather have Winston than Mariota after watching Oregon play last night. I am very unimpressed with Mariotato the point where he ddidn’t just look like a system QB but a full blown project. He looked very uncomfortable and antsy in the pocket and missed several wide open receivers by wide margins. He would have struggled mightily in the SEC.
Winston has great vision, anticipation and toughness. He has more on field mojo and heart than Andrew Luck. His off the field issues arereal but he is a very rare talent. If he can grow up and focusxon football he can become a pro bowl qb. He will also be able to cover up some of our oline issues where Mariota’s poor pocket awareness will get him hurt.
Hell, I’d rather even have Connor Cook than Winston. We must draft 2linemen in the top 3 rounds to inject some youth attattitude in order to start to look like a real NFL team.

Every game we watch FSU play, Winston shines at the end and secures yet another FSU win. I don’t even like FSU but Winston has made me appreciate their football. This guy wins football games. He has the intangibles. Tonight, he was sharp from beginning until end. I will not cry if we end up with Jameis or Mariota. I will cry if we avoid a QB altogether in the 1st round.
