But what about Sunday? The Bengals will be playing their third consecutive road game. NFL stats show that teams don’t fare well in that scenario. Cincinnati, however, won the first two of this stretch in Houston and New Orleans.

Joe’s unsure whether or not Bucs fans will be surprised by their predictions. After all, half the fanbase is confident in Lovie Smith.

If the “Red Rifle” gets time in the pocket, the Bucs defense is in for a long, long, long day.
We’re going to be seeing a lot of Buc DB’s backs as they chase after A.J. Green.
I grew up across from Cincinnati and my family still lives there. I’ll be eating a lot of smack from my cousins this week. First my son the Cleveland fan, and now my cousins. It’s a Buc’s life!!!
I’ve seen enough of Dalton to realize he may not be elite but he is talented and will play as well as his offense allows. If they give him time to throw and they can run the ball then Dalton will enjoy his Florida vacation. He’ll shred our secondary!

I think the real question is will the bucs offensive line sink T.B.?
false starts,holding penalties, numerous low center snaps to QB when in shot gun formation( throws off mccown’s rhythm).
the reason they are in the shot gun is because the offensive line penalties has backed them up so far mccown has to pass.
lets not forget how many first down completions and runs came back because of the offensive line.

The Bucs should start their red headed QB to go up against the opponents red headed QB. Our passing game would be improved imo. Why do we need to see McCown? Boring! Put in Glennon!!

The more realistic question to be asking is, will the Bengals game turn out more like the Falcons and Ravens game did… Totally steam rolling the Bucs?

You are spot on Joe….for those who like to gamble, it is a 91 percent certainty that teams who win the first two games of a 3-game road trip LOSE the third game. Look it up, it’s legit. Now, if ever there is a year that the 9 percent comes true, it’s this game. However, statistically speaking, we’ve got this game in the bag!

I think the % of teams winning that 3rd game rises substantially if the home team is winless at home more than halfway through the season.. Look, I’d love to see the Bucs win this game; its very likely the best chance they have of getting a home W and I doubt if being 3-13 instead of 2-14 will affect the draft order too much as the Jets and Titans both play the Jags so a couple of those teams will get a W by default and stay behind the Bucs. That being said its hard to pick the Bucs to win; they simply are not good enough to beat the Bengals, its that simple and judging by what I have been reading about this team I really think that the players who actually want to win badly for the Bucs are a minority in the locker room; most of these guys seem to be just out for a paycheck!

correction above: Jets and Jags both play the Titans; still a couple of the 2 win teams have a better chance of getting a W than our Bucs! Right now I think they will pick 2nd behind the Raiders as I bet the Jags can beat Tennessee @ home and get their 2nd win…
