Yes, Joe is in the windy city where it is rather pleasant (by Chicago standards). It is currently cloudy and 50 degrees. Windy (naturally) at Soldier Field near the banks of icy Lake Michigan. Consider when Joe flew in Friday, it was in the 20s.
As they say in the upper Midwest: Don’t like the weather? Just wait a few hours.
It was expected to rain all day today but, thus far, the rains have held off. There is a chance this game finishes without rain. When Joe walked up to the stadium around 9:30 a.m., Chicago time, there was a very light drizzle.
Chicago TV types are billing this game as the “Lovie Smith Bowl,” as it is Lovie’s return to Chicago where he made his mark as an NFL head coach. Lovie still has his house and famous basement in suburban Chicago.
Joe can tell you the locals are fed up with Bears coach Marc Trestman. If the Bucs can win this game, Trestman is going to be put on the grill big time if not launched. How cool would it be if the Bucs can turn football hotbeds upside down in consecutive weeks?

Evans makes it look so easy. He should not be able to get this wide open against NFL CB’s, but he does it week in and week out. It’s early, but he has all the traits of being a special player.

I seem to recall several games where McCoy not only had a sack in the fourth quarter, but on the final drive. Convenient how DB55 forgets that. (Off the top of my head, he did it against Miami last year, and against Carolina this year).

Great first half defensively, pretty crappy offensively. This game should be out of hand by now. We need to have a successful drive to start the second half, because one would believe the Bears offense is going to eventually wake up. You can already see they are starting to figure out how to protect better.

Mike Glennon doesn’t make ANY decisions. He is too scared of losing his job. If the kid would actually step up like a real leader, he might earn some respect.
But I have seen Glennon make as many bonehead throws as McCown. McCown is better simply because of his mobility. He buys time. He moves in the pocket better.
