Blount Finds His Way Back To Belicheat

It’s always ironic when a potential Hall of Fame coach (Mike Tomlin) cuts a guy and a surefire Hall of Fame coach (Bill Belicheat) signs the same guy in a matter of hours.
So goes the life of LeGarrette Blount, the man former rockstar general manager Mark Dominik and Greg Schiano booted from the Bucs for Jeff Demps and a seventh-round pick.
Yes, Joe was never a fan of Blount’s intermittent me-first, immature antics with Tampa Bay. But it’s not like Schiano turned Blount into a mental patient like he did others, and Blount wasn’t bailing out of Hillsborough County Jail or other correctional facilities.
Schiano, of course, struggled mightily to find a kick returner in 2012, but never gave Blount a shot. Blount went on to be one of the very best kick returners in the NFL last season for New England, plus he rumbled for 772 yards on five yards per carry. And then there was that four-touchdown, 166-yard game in January.
On Monday night, Blount walked off the Steelers sideline before the game ended, pouting because he didn’t get the ball. He was cut within hours and quotes from his teammates sounded like the were happy he left.
Now he’s back home, where they don’t mind that he’s not a receiver.

Just another example of a guy who can play but we haven’t had a coach smart enough to figure that out.

it is still amazing the way Joe tries to bend the truth to try to slam Coach Schiano.
But the so called “real” coach of lovie smith who is acting GM will get a pass on everything!

Amazing you have selective recall or are in serious need of reading comprehension. How many times has Joe written Lovie gets an “F” for his coaching failure this year and the Bucs had terrible player evaluation, which Lovie signed off on every transaction?

Blount’s running style was made for the Steelers. And, even they didn’t want his attitude.

I’m pretty sure the problem is him, not the coaches. If he doesn’t last this second time with Bill, he’s probably done. Not worth the obvious bad attitude, tardiness rumors that have followed him everywhere.

It’s funny Joe won’t report on any rumors as to what many witnessed Josh Freeman doing, but he refers to JFro as a mental patient, though, as far as I know, no one has ever reported on him being in an institution. He’s a druggie Joe, not a mental patient.

I still laugh at the fans who lament the loss of this turd… The Bucs put up with this BS for several seasons… He played well in New England but i noticed Belichik didnt bother to resign him… Then he gets a decent contract in Pittsburgh and gets arrested for pot and pulls this crap… He is a cancer to any team…
I also laugh at those who cried for Mike Williams… What in the hell has he done in Buffalo except get benched? Thanks for the fourth round pick Buffalo, enjoy the “Caveman”…

I think Blouunt would have been one of the first to go if he was still when Lovie arrived. Lovie treats his players like men and expects them to behave in the same manner. Blount doesn’t have the maturity or intelligence to behave in such a manner.
