Where Are The Big Plays?
November 16th, 2014Bucs coach Lovie Smith laments how his team can’t make big plays when opportunities arise.
On defense, this is known as takeaways. On offense, there have been opportunities for a big plays, but for reasons unknown, the Bucs have been unable to connect.
For the defense, a big play here or there could have meant two or three wins. Five times this season the Bucs had leads in the fourth quarter only to see them vanish. Two of these drives came from a never-been like Austin Davis of the Rams and rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater of the Vikings, which made the losses all the more gut-wrenching.
In this TBO.com video, Woody Cummings of the Tampa Tribune and Oliva Stacey of TBO.com discuss what has gone wrong and focus on the lack of a handful of big plays ,which have kept the Bucs out of the race in the putrid NFC South division.

Really Joe? You don’t like josh mccown so your saying you don’t know why captain checkdown want getting any big plays? I’m gonna say mccown is the best quarterback on our team and it has nothing to do with arm strength, accuracy or any of that. Mccown gets the nod because last next I haven’t seen Vincent Jackson and mike Evans that happy all year, think it has something to do with having a veteran qb that actually knows what he’s doing. Big plays in the run game? Lol yea right

Put a Go Pro on the helmet of the camera lover, RGIII. Tell him it’s for NFL Films. They are going to document the re-rise of a fallen warrior. He’ll f*cking eat it up! Maybe then the other camera lover, Gerald, will have the motivation to get to the QB. Gotta find that camera GMC!! GMC = Get Me a Camera.
Dang, no that won’t work. He will see the camera and it’ll make him stop, smile, go shake his hand and say something unfunny.
