Verner Out With Hamstring; Stocker Has Bad Hip

The Bucs’ injury list is growing again.
And Joe suspects Julio Jones and the Falcons’ dangerous receiving corps is smiling.
Alterraun Verner missed practice today with a bad hamstring, Lovie Smith said. Keep in mind Verner was out for weeks in training camp with a bad hammy. It’s unclear whether it’s the same leg.
Starting left tackle Anthony Collins missed practice again “nursing” a bad foot, Lovie said, and Luke Stocker also is on the shelf with a bum hip. Doug Martin (ankle) is still out.
That Verner injury is troublesome with the Falcons lurking. They’re not good, but they can still put up points.
The last time the Bucs missed a starting cornerback, Johnthan Banks, Baltimore lit them up.

I’m so sick of seeing these garbage FAs playing terribly or not playing at all. When is Lovie going to take responsibility for the poor decision making? What is the media going to ask him to take responsibility? Oh wait, he is above reproach. Do. No. Wrong. Lovie.

Dallas, agree the media has been giving him a flyer. Many ex Bucs too.

Can’t predict injuries, but Verner certainly has not been spectacular when on the field.
So who will be starting in his place? How many TDs between Jones, White, and Hester this week?

Some of you fans are fools Gerber was hurt all training camp and preseason. Trying to get better while not practicing in a new system and learning it. Does this mean we get to see the great crezdon butler again this week Joe??? Goodie. Lol this is gonna be funny.

Buzzed, after reading you comment! I can see why u gave yourself that moniker. I hope you were only kidding. If not well…….stupid.
So Stocker is injured….again. We should start calling this Luke ‘Crystal ‘ Stocker since he is so breakable.
Our starting FB is back so Stocker being out shouldn’t be much of a loss. Better or worse, Verner is a starter. But don’t soak your panties yet little girls, the Falcons are a lot different team on the road on natural turf.

Of course Verner is not going to play; how else can everyone be sure that the Falcons can put 50 points up on the Bucs again???? The Bucs are not going to be able to keep up with the Falcons by matching TDs; the only hope Tampa has at a victory is keeping the Falcons from scoring more than 24; that is not going to happen if Verner and Banks are not the starting CBs; the Falcons will exploit the backup and the Bucs will be embarrassed like they were against the Ravens; count on it!!!!
Stocker hurt??? Well at least he won’t miss any blocks on special teams this weekend then……

Oh and how much you bet the Falcons try that 3 step drop vs the Bucs D so that a double/triple teamed McCoy can not even get close to Ryan even if the Falcon OL is as bad as Tampa’s bad OL???? With the Bucs playing a soft Tampa 2, you know the ATL are going to exploit the mismatch between the Bucs secondary and their talented WR corps…. Hell even Harry Douglas looks like a pro-bowler every time he plays the Bucs…
