Get your new Sunday plans ready because at 1-7 there is not much left to watch for unless you like watching bumbling McStake give the ball away and our defense give 4 quarter leads away.

  2. Fort Myers Dave Says:

Little confidence is where I slotted Lovie. The post game comment about “should have run the ball more” and the alleged decision to start McNown almost have me give the no vote. I wonder what the Glazers would give Lovie: the kiss of death vote of total confidence????? Frankly I am amazed that the betting line for the Bucs/ATL game opened as a pick and has only moved to -1 Falcons. The wise guys must smell a trap game but the Falcons are coming off of a bye and it seems like the coaching staff and team are continually making more mistakes each week I simply can not place any confidence in the Bucs getting a W. I am amazed the line has not gone through the roof for the ATL; maybe the news of McNown starting will start the action going the Falcons way, but Vegas is sneeky; they obviously smell a trap; they must think the Bucs will keep it close, maybe win; they can not be totally whiffing on this line, can they?!?!?!?!

  3. SteveK Says:

I am “Confident” that Lovie is choosing McCown to start at QB, and he is marrying his hand picked guy. I am “confident” that if McCown plays worse than Glennon, then his seat will get a little bit hotter.

I am “confident” Schiano caught more heat for less.

  4. bucrightoff Says:

8 games and Lovie has lost almost all support. If the last 8 go like the first 8 a one and done could very well happen.

  5. BlakeJohnson Says:

Y’all are crazy man, the only things I hold against Lovie and Licht are that they tried to hide the fact that this is a rebuilding year, and hiring Leslie Fraiser as DC dude is toxic to secondary’s. Just Look at his defensive numbers in the 2 years that sandwiched AP’s 2000 yard season, Dude sucks. But yeah If they had been straight up about the condition of the roster(which you can’t really do because of the player’s mindset) you guys wouldn’t be so butt hurt.

  6. Buccfan37 Says:

I went with little confidence also, a smidgen is all I can scrape up. If this poll keeps up it’s direction, the downslide will look like the graph of the last stock market collapse.

  7. Zam Says:

I’m a little more confident since he took the beer goggles off yesterday. But still at little confidence.

  8. Brandon Says:

I am confident that this team is better than it was last season at the same point. As far as where I would stand on Lovie… I don’t hate him, so I would probably just stand on his toes… I’m thinking some of the angrier people would like to stand on his throat.

  9. ToesOnTheLine! Says:

I am confident that this team is better than it was last season at the same point.

I am confident most people would disagree with you on that regardless of the one victory. 5 TD first half blowouts, bottom/near bottom of the league rankings on offense, defense, special teams don’t lie

  10. MegaDaveUK Says:

Wheres the option for pissed off? Voted don’t know

  11. Touch_Down_Tampa_Bay Says:

The poll don’t lie brothers & sisters!

Cry babies are in the minority.

    In Lovie I TRUST!!!

  12. bucrightoff Says:

Anyone who thinks this year is better than last simply is doing so for pure Schiano hatred, which makes no sense since he’s gone so who cares anymore? This product is worse and this team is more embarrassing on the field, if less embarrassing off it.

  13. bucrightoff Says:

    TDTB is Jason Licht right?

  14. Tomcin Says:

    No confidence. Where’s the billboards?

  15. OB Says:

    Joe

I gave him little confidence because his statements do not make sense and where he has problems that are correctable, he doesn’t correct them.

He is full of Happy Talk.

  16. Buc1987ForJameis Says:

Touch_Down_Tampa_Bay…the 35% little confidence is not a good sign. The 27% no confidence is a very high number.

I don’t why you took the poll results so far as positive for Lovie…

  17. bucrightoff Says:

Because he’s either Jason Licht or the Glazers. I would say he’s Lovie’s wife but she wants $20 million now and not later, so she’s rooting for him to get fired. But yeah 2:1 right now little to no confidence over totally to some confidence. And still 8 more games to go. Could be 7 or 8:1 by the end of the season.

  18. Soggy Says:

It takes time – to really totally suck as a coach and he is just about there….

  19. Buctebow Says:

Last time I looked 1-7 was a better record than 0-8, which was Schiano’s record last year at this point. Lovie is better than Schiano at this point. Remember that was Schiano’s 2nd season also, this is Lovie’s first. This is a rebuilding year, they did lie to us and I’m not happy about that. I have confidence in Lovie ro improve the team in the long run (but not much improvement this year). After two more games they will start to resemble a team, not a good one but maybe average one at least.

  20. Buc1987ForJameis Says:

    Buctebow….After two more games huh?

I’ll check back with you in about 2 weeks.

  21. bucrightoff Says:

1-7 with a 10 year NFL vet coach, or 0-8 with a 2 year NFL vet coach. I’m sorry but it’s not an apples to apples comparison. This year is worse, without question. Bucs defense was 15th last year, offense 32nd. This year, with an allegedly better defensive coach and much of the same talent the defense is 29th and the offense is 31st. This is a worse team overall than last year, regardless of what the record says.

It’s not like the 1 win is some great win either. It was a total fluke. This team should be 0-8 but pulled one out they shouldn’t have. So 1-7 with an undeserved win is the same as 0-8 when the Bucs could easily have started 3-1 last year.

  22. WalkdaPlank Says:

Voted little confidence last time, but am switching to no confidence.

I desperately want to believe that Lovie will turn this team around. But it’s not just the losing that angers me. It is the way he goes about it. And the fact that he has done nothing to fix it. He is too stubborn. He won’t admit his handpicked QB is utter garbage and will continue to play him no matter how much he looks like a scare deer in the headlights. I guarantee you he won’t admit he was wrong with his FA pickups of Collins and Johnson. They will be starting next year. His OC goes down at the beginning of the season, and he has not gotten a new one. It doesn’t have to be some big shot, just somebody who knows what the hell they are doing till next offseason because Lovie and Arroyo have not the slightest clue on how to run an NFL offense.

And I want to believe this is just a tank job like 87 says. But even if it is, did you see the personnel decisions Lovie and his lapdog made in the offseason? Let’s start from the beginning shall we?

    -Coach hired before GM (Lapdog)
-Bulldozed the O-line and made it WORSE.
-Cut Revis and used the money to sign bums like Josh McCown, Michael Johnson, Anthony Collins, EDS, Verner, and Fletcher.
-Traded Mike Williams for a bag of chips when this team needed reciever help, especially slot reciever (Evans played slot at A&M)
-Traded Zuttah for a jar of Nutella
-Traded Tim Wright for a guy who doesn’t want to play here and will be gone in the offseason
-So far, a horrible draft it seems, Evans was obvious, everyone else hasn’t really owned up, Sims hasn’t played. (Drafts only offensive players, has worst offense in the league)
-Sounds like an idiot with dementia every time he takes the podium

Do you REALLY trust this idiot and his lapdog to make good decisions in next year’s draft if they tank for a top spot? I sure as hell don’t.

After Lovie’s stint in Tampa not a team in the league will want him.

  23. Maze Says:

Whoever voted totally confident should be shot. Football ain’t for everyone

  24. Kevin Says:

I do not believe Lovie knows how to lead an organization.

He should have went after a new OC when Tedford went down. Instead he lets a QB coach that has no NFL experience call plays. I have a hard time blaming Glennon after a decent year last year and an abysmal year this year. That’s coaching, and the fact that we destroyed a fair O-line in exchange for the crap we got now is on Lovie.

He should have fired Frazier after the loss to Atlanta and certainly when Baltimore put up 35 points against us in the first quarter. Instead, we trade more defensive players away and continue to try to push “the round peg into the square hole.”

Lovie has had a chance to at least address these glaring issues and do something about it, but he refuses, and since he won’t, he must go. We need to hope Schiano gets a coaching job and the Glaziers make a run for Harbaugh so we can pay Lovie as he sits in his basement and waits for the next sucker to hire him.

  25. Bucsqb12 Says:

I have no confidence in Louvies player evaluation. That might get him the axe before his coaching does. He owes the Glazers a refund check.
