Bucs quarterback bust-in-waiting Josh Freeman takes a moment at the NFL’s rookie symposium to speak with Steve Wyche of NFL Network about his immediate plans before training camp and how much he is learning about the NFL since he was drafted this spring.
In another NFL Network video, Freeman is seen coaching youngsters at a football camp. Joe trusts completions were part of the curriculum.

Nothing like regurgitating the “Freeman is inaccurate” line so often printed the past 4 months. Did you know that Freeman’s college completion % is only 0.8% less than Matt Ryan’s? I bet you didn’t. And I am also willing to bet you haven’t seen one practice of Freeman in a Buc uniform to make a more recent opinion on his accuracy. At least have an original opinion.

Well I HOPE Feeman has completed more passes in the OTA’s than when he was in the Big 12 – the no defense NCAA conference.
Last time I checked Matt Ryan was on a college team that went to a bowl game while Freeman’s team….well I guess I shouldn’t get to excited about the Bust in Waiting (BIW) should I?

You are so right, Mr Lucky. The success of an QB in the NFL can be measured by how well their NCAA team performed. That’s why Big Ben, Joe Flacco, Kurt Warner, Delhomme, Favre etc will never do anything in the NFL.

This was one of the worst draft picks the Bucs could’ve made. This dude wasn’t even that good in college. They already had good sets of arms before drafting this guy. What a waste of pick.

guarenteed you havent taken ur fata** to one OTA or practice. All you do is go and share ur thoughts about others written articles. Oh im sorry you get interviews talking about youth football camps. dont pull the unaccurate crap until hes on the field sunday throwing picks

Ah, Mr. Lucky, you had to go with that “Big 12 no defense” stick. You must be an SEC fan. Again, it comes down to this: either the conference had some of the most prolific offenses in NCAA history or they had historically bad defenses. As always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Careful to oversimplify by making a blanket statement. You must be against a playoff format in college football.

You are right Mr. Lucky is a BIG SEC fan. But you are wrong about the playoff format.
Mr Lucky would LOVE to see a playoff format – more SEC teams to kick those overblown Big 12 around for more weekends!
