Joe’s got video of Josh McCown!
Yes, it might make the Mike Glennon Mob seek counseling, but it was the big deal at practice today.
McCown was sharp during the session open to media. And Lovie Smith later said McCown had a good day throwing the ball for 90 minutes.
Of course, Lovie seems disinterested in quashing any quarterback controversy and going all-in with Glennon or McCown.

Poor MGM is going to need therapy. I don’t see Lovie being that stupid – its to make the Vikings prepare for two bad QBs. But as far as who will start? One, The Cannon played better than McTurnover. Two, I personally don’t think either of them will be starting next year, but lets see what The Future brings us.

Go ahead and start the guy making $5 million, that’s what you brought him in here to do.
The QB making $700K has played better.
If we draft a QB in the first, they best not be a BUST. And with our current defensive line and Offensive line, it would be like buying a Lamborghini and not being able to afford insurance. IMHO, our lines need more attention than does the QB position. I understand the QB position could make the quickest turnaround, but it would risky and foolish to not take the BPA, hopefully an edge rusher or dancing bear.

If Lovie starts McClown in ANY of the remaining games, he’s basically giving the finger to all Bucs fans. Explain to us how on earth does a 35 yr old QB who personally lost the first 2 games, never started in the league and a career back up at best, get to start over Glennon, who has done admirable considering this is his second tour of dumpster land. Not to mention he is getting valuable experience. Wow! Between Johnson, EDS, Collins, McClown, Fletcher and Mankins (yes we got duped by Belicheat again), L&L are eradicating each and every remaining fan. Schiano and Raheem sucked but they got more out of lesser talent and actually had players play hard at times. Almost half way through the season and not even one game where the BUCS have played with intensity. Beyond hopeless!!!!!

I know the damn O-line sucks donkey b*lls, but that can be improved over time.
As far as DE…I don’t see any Clowney’s out there right now. Truly good QB’s only come around every now and then and I’m trying to not be biased, but I see one. I’ve known it since last season. I’ve talked about him in the stands with other fans last season too. Everyone agreed. I’m pretty damn sure if I wasn’t a Nole I’d be drooling at the chance anyways. There’s no one on this site that can sway my opinion the matter either. I want him and want him bad.
Joe’s love for Manziel was like puppy love compared to what I believe is the next big thing to come out of college football. Whoever gets him, wins the Super Bowl in 2-3 years mark my friggin words.
I love the Bucs and only want what’s best for them. NO I don’t think he’ll be a bust at all. I see starter Day 1. The kid oozes confidence on the sidelines like an erupting volcano. Anyone that says Winston will be a bust in the NFL is a fool in my book or a jealous Gator fan or just jealous in general or they have their panties in a bunch over the off field stuff. On the field he is GOLD and you can take that to the bank.

I don’t think it matters who starts at QB. Defense is giving up over 35 pts per game and 400- 500 yds.

None of what you just said matters to the Glennon detractors. Trubucfan would laugh at you and call that excuses for Glennon. He thrives off of Glennon failure.

I guess if there truly was a MGM I’d have been one of the early members, but truthfully I could give a sh!t if Lovie decides to start McCown. If the dude comes in and can throw for 5 TD’s every game (basically the minimum required by a Bucs QB to keep pace with the number of TD’s the defense will surrender) and the Bucs win games then awesome! If he more likely continues to be the turnover machine he was in his first 2 1/2 games and forces Lovie to either stay the course with MCCown or go back to Glennon after the team is 1-11 then that shows even the most stubborn “in Lovie we trust/but Dungy went 5-11” fan (and ownership) that Lovie needs to go…a victory of sorts as well in that that scenario.

Not that this is the place to discuss it, but where’s the proof? I’ve never seen any. I seen a he said, she said and nothing more. Just cling onto it’s all just corruption in Tally. I guess that’s what your proof is…. the corruption. I hear she might be suing in civil court….I bet she loses that too.
I’m pretty sane and I don’t think all that many people in Tally would risk their high paying jobs for Jameis Winston’s neck. Apparently you do. Cling to corruption in Tally it’s all you’ve got.
If the Bucs have the first overall pick I say they will take him. Stay tuned.

It would make too much sense for Lovie to play glennon. Go for Winston mariota or hundley in the draft. More likely he’ll go DE or LT with the 3-6th pick. McCown (cough) will finish out his contract and Lovie will switch up his game plan year 3. Replace frazier and maybe, thanks to joe, hire an OC. I’m not sure what I’m talking about but it seems reasonable.

DB55 are you serious? Cutler is ranked 6th and Glennon is 28th. Cutler didn’t play too well his last game but neither did Glennon. Cutler has 14 TD 7 int, 67 comp % and 94.4 qb rating.

You let the best player play. Yeah McCown has made some bonehead throws, but Glennon isn’t necessarily Tom Brady either!(AND I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT HIS LOOKS!)
If McCown starts(which would be suprising), it will be because he looked better than Glennon in practice. So it’s not Arroyo’s fault, it’s not Leslie Frazier’s fault, it’s not Lovie’s fault, it’s not Schiano’s fault, it’s Glennon’s fault!.

In the meantime though. I want Lovie to start the worst player he can at this point. I’m sorry I have to think this way. I have never felt this way before when it comes to the Bucs. I always want them to win as much as possible, the draft be damned. Not anymore. QB’s like this are rare. Peyton Manning rare. Andrew Luck rare. He’s carrying his team right now. Last season they had a very good D, that kept putting the O back out onto the field which padded his stats. This season he’s carrying his team with a lot of added pressure (some self inflicted) but it never shows up on the field.
So if McCown’s is the worst QB on the roster right now. Then by all means start em Lovie. Sorry Glennon, I really am. If for some dumb ass reason they don’t draft Winston with the first pick that I think they will have and they go with O-line or DL then I’m back in your corner Mike.

Basically, the Tallahassee Police Department is nothing more than a satellite branch of the FSU Booster Club. MG8 will be traded to St Louis so that McCown feels more comfortable.
Fisher will talk to Schiano and coach up Glennon who will be the
difference in 2015. Just for fun the NFL will lwr the Rams play the Bucs
three times. McCown will start for the Bucs all of 2015. except the last 8
games where we start an unknown 3rd stringer.

All I know is and I’m not defending Winston when say this is. From the first moment a girl cries rape…the suspect is automatically guilty in the court of public opinion. It’s automatic.
I have a nephew that currently goes to FSU. What he told me at Christmas last year was that the girl slept with Winston to get back at her boyfriend who dumped her and when Winston blew her off that’s when she said it was rape. He told me that was what was swirling around on campus at FSU.
I’m not saying I believe that rumor. I’m just throwing that out there.

Why would the TPD or school coverup a backup QBs alledged assault yet kick a starter off the team in Greg Dent who was accused of the same thing? Oh by the way, he was found not guilty. Also Greg Reid, Ira Denson, and Preston Parker? Where’s the coverup for these three starters? Oh wait there wasn’t any. You Winston bashers probably think the Duke lacrosse team is still guilty. Read about Thrasher’s past and who he really is. They and the police are covering for Winston’s crimes because local sports exceed the need for justice served. I say bring in Pineapple McCown!
Let Glennon take valuable notes. He needs to see an experienced QB getting it done. We had faced to many backup QBs and Glennon has not benefit from opposing QBs. Pineapple will deliver the goods during his comeback to relevancy.
The last thing we want to experience is the MOB making excuses for Glennon because Jackson is going to be traded.
