OK friends, enemies, loyal readers and fellow Bucs fans, here Joe is at the Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway as the Bucs host their first 1 p.m. game of the season, today being the Baltimore Crows.
Joe noticed on Twitter yesterday the Crows were already whining about the heat. And it isn’t that hot!
So bang it here during the game with your outrage or joy, depending on what is going on in the game. Or, you can just offer your observations.

Have the same feeling that I did before we beat the Steelers on the road. Prideful individuals often push themselves to do much better after an embarrassing (Atlanta) or heartbreaking (New Orleans) defeat. Ravens aren’t all that good, the Bucs are improving and have been IN every game to the last second but one. I actually think they have a pretty good shot at winning by a comfortable margin.

I have been against the fire Lovie chants at least for the first season but I also said after the Falcons game two or three more blowouts from a “defensive coach” and he will deserve those chants. Lovie needs Rob Marinelli. Marinelli is the true master mine to make that Tampa 2 work. His Schemes and front 7 attacks are the engine that makes this machine work correctly. Frazier is horrible at getting pressure from the front 7. Fire Frazier let Lovie take control of the D (prove his skills) and grab Marinelli next year once his contract with Dallas is up.

4-4 in the 2nd half last year. Sometimes running a good man out of town has its price. Re-tooled offensive line is a diaster. Tampa 2 defense without the skilled players necessary is a diaster. Sometimes a “toes on the line” mentality is necessary with today’s young players. Unfortunately fans have no patience and Lovie will be run out of town like every other coach for the Bucs in the last 20 years. No continuity equals no time to develop a winning tradition. Lovie’s contract is reported to be 5 million per year with 4 years guaranteed. It seems Mr Smith spent his year off in his Chicago basement master minding a plan on how to retire in comfort. Show up the 1st year and cause as much damage as possible in order to be fired ASAP and collect the guaranteed 15 million remaining on his contract. You have to admit its brilliant.

That 56 yd TD pass they just replayed of Flacco’s, did you notice how he led the receiver with the ball out in front of the receiver even at 56 yes? It seems like Glennon’s best throw is that pop-up on the infield jump ball. Why can’t he lead his receivers like the good QBs do?
