Big Day For Mason Foster
October 1st, 2014As he is wont to do, middle linebacker Mason Foster was ready to chat about Bucs football, wearing his trademark floppy hat in the style of Gilligan. “Mase” is always eager.
But of late, Foster hasn’t been ready to play football. He dislocated a shoulder against the Rams and hasn’t played since. That could change Sunday.
Foster noted his shoulder is better and explained why today might be a turning point in his rehab.
“It feels good, it is getting better,” Foster said. “I’m continuing to work on it. I just do whatever [the trainers] tell me to. I have to keep pushing to see where I am at.
“[Wednesday] is going to be a big day to see how it goes and we will know more about [playing Sunday in New Orleans] after today.”
Naturally, the BucsĀ aren’t saying if Foster passed any tests or not in order to perhaps take the field again.
Of course, the Bucs already left One Buc Palace to practice today at the Fruitdome in St. Petersburg, as they will tomorrow to get used to playing in a dome and on turf. Perhaps the way they got blown out by the Dixie Chicks, Lovie felt they needed more work under a roof.

If we have Kuechly we don’t have Lavonte David. I’ll take David.

We still had the ammo to trade up for david in the 2nd even if we too Keuchly, then Foster could’ve played the outside.

Joe – I could be wrong but I don’t remember the Bucs practicing at the Trop in the past. Is this new? It is an excellent idea. Perhaps they could pump in crowd noise to get ready for a loud superdome.

Brian- Various coaches have practiced at the Trop for years.

We need Mason back badly. Mason isn’t all-world yet but Fletcher is awful. He bites on every play action fake and leaves a fat whole behind him for the tight end or whoever.

Nope. Us picking Kuechly makes David a 1st rounder, and not ours. Let it frigging rest. We got our all pro.

Fletcher is not horrible.
He plays hard. Gives it all. And has made some big plays the past 2 weeks.
Stop the hate!!
Support the Bucs you psychos!!
Be positive for bucs sake!!

Kuechly is the inferior player to Lavonte, people only like him because he’s white. Watch when Carolinas amazing D-line falls apart that kid will disappear too.
