Buccaneers 27, Steelers 24
September 28th, 2014Winner!
Oh, it feels so damn good to have joined the Mike Glennon Mob seven days ago. How about No. 8!
Calm, poised, not always great, but money, big money when it counted today. Glennon busted off 245 second-half yards and two touchdowns to stun the Steelers at the buzzer with a TD toss to Vincent Jackson.
Joe is fired up.
It’s Glennon’s team now. He earned it.
Stick with Joe for so much more out of this stunning victory. Joe will be in the euphoric Bucs locker room.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:26 pm
bucs win, bucs win, the bucs win (first time in pitts)!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:26 pm

September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
What is this feeling I’m feeling right now? Excitement? Happiness? I didn’t think I was supposed to feel this on Sundays.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
Glennon, only bucs QB to win in Pissburg, ever, lol.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
BUCS WIN! BUCS WIN!
GO BUCS!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
I know I speak for everyone here when I say sincerely…
WooHoo!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
Yep, Lovie’s a bad coach and they have quit on him already. Should have run him out of town last week.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
Ineffingcredible. All I can say is hats off to the O Line and Glennon. Both amazing in the 2nd half. Did we actually witness some game-winning half-time adjustments.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:27 pm
Glennon plays great with abominable play
Calling by inept coaching staff.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Wow! Glennon made the throws when it counted and the D stepped up to give him one more chance. Woo Hooo!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
It wasnt’ a beautiful win but it’s a WIN. Man it’s nice going into the week with something positive to talk about. Historically, no matter who is coaching or who is the QB, we haven’t done well against the Steelers. It was nice to hear the silence in their stands.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Can’t wait to hear Steve Dumig tomorrow!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Never in a million years…….!!!!
FIRE THE MOTHA F****N CANNONS!!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
How about the “Cannon”. His one INT wasn’t his fault. CLUTCH.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
SUCK IT GLENNON HATERS! let the MG8 era begin again!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Mike Glennon would pick apart Lovie’s defense all day long.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Thanks for winning my confidence pool for me Mike!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Hot damn it feels great to be as Bucs fan right now! The Glennon Mob as saved room for all the doubters…just don’t think you’ll come on board and become a general in 2 weeks 🙂
September 28th, 2014 at 4:28 pm
Welcome to the Glennon era!
Eat your hearts out Freemanites and big Dawggie.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:29 pm

September 28th, 2014 at 4:30 pm
Hey duemig start you’re crying..
September 28th, 2014 at 4:30 pm
WOW…..what a friggin game.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:30 pm
Glennon took the starting job to day. McClown would have NEVER made all those passes! Today some swagger was restored in Tampa.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm
Okay. Where are the lets get rid of VJax crew. That’s why he is on the team. Dominik and Schiano are shaking their heads right now. Lol
September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm
OK.
1st off: If you were slamming Glennon and the immortal MGM up until 1pm
today that’s alright. Not everyone is as insightful as the MG founders
2nd the MGM welcomes Johnny-come-lately like Joe. Better late than never.
However Joes reasoning is still slightly flawed: MG8 IS AN NFL LEVEL STUD
STARTING QB and the QB of the future.
3rd: How do you like Schiano now? ….Schiano = talent-scouting GENIUS.
4th: The MGM needs t-shirts.
Go Bucs!
THISSS ISS TAAMMPAA!!!1
September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm
Playoffs may be unrealistic. BUT For the first time in sooo long it feels good to be a Bucs fan!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm
How about that offense line protection!!
Mankins Maulers
September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm
Me thinks joe owes glennon an apology and should buy him a beer
September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm
I’m literally in shock. Shaking
September 28th, 2014 at 4:32 pm
All hail the mighty cannon!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:32 pm
Thank you God.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:32 pm
Mike Cannon mob fully here….
When V JAck got the touch down, McCown was to the first to run out there to give him a hip bump.
Class act Josh….. Nice job sir.
….
How bouT Num 8! #ShianoToldUsSo

“It was nice to hear the silence in their stands.”
this
September 28th, 2014 at 4:33 pm
I told you!
I was the only one on this site to call a Bucs win… Classic ambush game and the Steelers feel right into the trap…
Hey arkitec whats up?
This team played well behind Glennon… VJax needs to start catching the fuking ball…
September 28th, 2014 at 4:33 pm
MGM Extsperminator – where you at bro?

I called it first!!!!!wooooo hoooooo. Wish I would have laid a bet on it!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:33 pm
Great Win! Ad the first guy to congratulate Glennon was Mccown. Serious team player there. Good work Mike!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:34 pm
I stopped watching after that miss to Vjax in the endzone in the final minute and a half….went back to watching gun porn…..I am kicking myself!!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:34 pm
I was wrong about Glennon and I’ve never been happier to be wrong. Buying my ticket to the MGM
September 28th, 2014 at 4:34 pm
The “little puppy” will be barking on Monday, he hates MG. I’m sure some insider will tell him it was luck or somebody else did it.

Awesome win! Re-siging Murphy turned out to be a game winning move. Hope Evans injury is not serious. Now lets keep this going at NO. GO BUCS!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:34 pm
Great performance on 2nd half from Glennon! He made up well for delay of games… Good Job!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:34 pm
What about that Bud Lite Commercial with Sapp and a pirate ship…;)
September 28th, 2014 at 4:34 pm
Steve White is friggin GENIUS!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:35 pm
Man this feels good!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:35 pm
great to win! we still need a real qb, not a pinocchio.
props to him at the end and the receivers that made the tough catches.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:35 pm
Mike Glennon win the right.
It’s his team.
Draft a DE in the 1st round. No QB needed here
September 28th, 2014 at 4:36 pm
Glennon did fine. I think he will only get better. Hope Evans’ injury isn’t bad.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:36 pm
I think Murphy deserves a big hand.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:36 pm
Glennon is a gutsy kid…..stood in there and fired away! Damn, he’s got a good arm!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:36 pm
Who would you rather have Glennon or Johnny Football?
Third tier my —.
Suck it Joe
Also, Duemig can suck it too!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
Not a big Glennon fan but played well at the end
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
So this is what Tedfords offense is supposed to look like. Kudos to Arroyo for letting him sling it. Love the vertical passing game with MG8. Defense is still bad though. But hey at least MJ90 appeared today. Someone tell JOE hes been found. Cant say Johnson (who) anymore. I asked for Lansanah last week over Casillas and he performed well.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
I’m speechless
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
I’ve always said Mike Glennon needs to earn the starting role. When McCown got injured, I said this was his opportunity. He needed to make the best of it. I give him a 6 of 10 for the day, compared to the 2 of 10 I give McCown so far.
I don’t think the MGM is in a bragging position, but a little pride is due them.
Between Arroyo and our center, someone needs better clock awareness. None of those were on Glennon.
To Mike Glennon, I say “Good job.”
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
Great D (coming through when it counts anyway)…great play by Glennon (receivers even dropped close to 10 passes)…great coaching…great play calling….great clock management….I am in freaking heaven. We needed that kick in the a$$ last week! There is hope for this season yet folks!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
I agree Bob. He is not the most mobile guy, give him some time and he can throw.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:37 pm
Yah. Suck it all u buc whiners. I don’t care if it’s one game.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:38 pm
I picked this win two months ago. The Reelers aint very good, actually the worst team in their division. Great comeback win Bucs and fellow Bucs fans.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:38 pm
Can’t wait to hear “Big Dog’s” respond to this!
Right Joe?
September 28th, 2014 at 4:38 pm
Hot diggity damn….bucs win…..its official…im now a mobster. MG8 bay beeeeeeee
September 28th, 2014 at 4:39 pm
Those delay of game calls were on the oc and eds. Vijay does need to start catching the damn ball, not just when it really important…their all important.
Glad to eat some crow. The team showed guts and not bad coaching.
Told y’all bout MG. 2 yr MGM member here:-)
September 28th, 2014 at 4:39 pm
Boomer Esiason sounded impressed with Glennon in the post game. More reason for Freemanites to hate Esiason 🙂
One game at a time, but the Panthers are now 2-2 and the Falcons and Saints could choke. Glennon makes the WR’s relevant again, so who knows what is possible going forward?
September 28th, 2014 at 4:39 pm
glennon is a BEAST.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:40 pm
Well played Bucs, next up.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:40 pm
GO BUCS!!!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:40 pm
I think we saw enough today to definitely say that Glennon wasn’t aloud to throw down field last year. Clearly he has the arm to do it. Everyone killing him for throwing short passes all year need to redirect your blame
September 28th, 2014 at 4:40 pm
Very impressive MG performance!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:40 pm
Wow! I still say Glennon average but he showed something 4th q. Couple more games like that i may change mind. I’d still take mariotta or Winston if draft tomorrow. But I’d keep Glennon too. D line showed up! Mj 2 sacks and bowers got 1. O-line stepped up big! Not to be negative but don’t love this zone scheme for our secondary.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
And yes, that means you duemig
September 28th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
Joe & BigDawd…are …..
September 28th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
Buc player of the game was the left field goal post.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
Winning cures all ills.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:41 pm
What about all the detractors?
What about the Josh Freeman Friend, and radio host on 620 in the afternoons? Does he still find a reason to doubt and hate on Glennon? Can he and Chris Landry really say, “McCown graded out higher then Glennon” for two weeks in a row (first time was bull spit)?
Does Glennon get his due? My guess is the negative Nancy and Freeman friends point out the 50% comp. my answer to that is you all don’t like QBs who take care of the ball.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:42 pm
“I think Murphy deserves a big hand.” @ passthebuc. Agreed brutha….murphy might be the mvp.of the game if it wasnt for Glennon’s heroics
September 28th, 2014 at 4:43 pm
I think you are all getting ahead of yourselves. You are assuming Lovie will bench McCown. I’ll be surprised if he does so soon.
We’re into the manageable games now. Saints are next. We’ve beat them before.
Grats to our dline. 5 sack in the first half. Good start to racking them up.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:44 pm
I’m ok with Joe, it’s the “little puppy” that is irritating with his so called inside info.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:44 pm

I AM OFFICIALLY A GLENNONITE.
You were right I am wrong. For the whole world to see.
I’m enjoying my tasty plate of crow.
P.S. Sure looks like a premature admit of our season being over now doesn’t it Joe 😉
September 28th, 2014 at 4:44 pm
Joe can we get a better pic go glennon now? Not the Napoleon dynamite one either lol
September 28th, 2014 at 4:44 pm
Big W ! Sure be nice to start the new week after Bucs 1st win of the season. Glennon did a great job, nice comeback by the Kid and the whole team.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:44 pm
Lovie is the man. The whole town was ready to give him his ticket out of town. You won’t find any such posts from me in the archive. I’ve watched him evolve as a coach for 18 years. He’s a class act. He had the team ready to play after a humiliating performance. Six sacks. When’s the last time we saw that in Tampa? This team is a mash unit. The last two drives we had our fourth and fifth receivers on the field including two receivers who were not in the roster two weeks go. I’m proud to be a buccaneers fan.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:45 pm
@SteveK
He wasn’t THAT good, dude. Good enough to earn another start in my book, but doubt he’ll get it yet.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:46 pm
Man that feels good. I thought is was done in the red zone on 4th down incompletion. Congrats to Glennon, online, and defense impressive 2nd half. Looks like coaching improved as well.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:46 pm
All hail the Ginger Cannon
September 28th, 2014 at 4:47 pm
I just hope this gained MGM a one day memoriam from the haters, afford him at least a day-off from slamming him about his looks, or the check down comments. You see, Tell me he doesn’t have a cannon. That throw to Murphy was a 35 yard frozen rope right on the money. He’s our future haters, unless you like losing. After this game Mike has gained a lot more teammate support if he didn’t have them to begin with. To the man, it look like after the game that any of his teammates would not hesitate going into battle with him at the helm. Welcome to the new Mike “The Cannon” Glennon era!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:47 pm
Now this is definitely a positive step, but not a great step
September 28th, 2014 at 4:47 pm
Glennon!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:47 pm
Absolutely dislike glennon. But even with only throwing 50% of passes for conpletions. He made enough plays to win. And talk you guys want about the bucs defense today but they were even more clutch than glennon in that second half. Good team win. Glad to see both sides of the ball step up.
Also all the people who wanted to “jump ship” or “watch other games” or “fire lovie”, can suck it. Go be a dolphins fan if you can’t even cheer your team while down by 7 points in the second quarter. It was sickening to era the comments before the half.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:48 pm
a whole lot of drops by a few wr’s earlier in the game. Keep throwing and hope Evans is ok……hopefully this rhythm will continue / catching the balls. Mad props to Murphy. He is glennon a new Tim wright/ go to guy. He was in preseason as well.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:48 pm
Where do I sign up for the MGM? go Bucs! Unbelievable! Freaking cannon fire baby!

Glennon was good enough. I just can’t wrap my head around all the hate Glennon gets, and glad as hell to see him taking advantage of an opportunity.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:48 pm
Props to the defense for getting the ball back to win the game.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:48 pm
hope glennon and the team enjoy this. we all needed a win after last week.
great final minute drive, but the play of the day was the bowers sack…awesome to see
September 28th, 2014 at 4:49 pm
To the people still doubting Glennon, you’re hilarious. He’s the reason we came out on top today and was throwing darts all over the field. Not his fault our receivers couldn’t catch for much of the game.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:49 pm
Bonzai
McCown won’t get another start.
Not to mention he’s out for an extended period of time regardless lol
September 28th, 2014 at 4:49 pm
Well lovie welcome to your first win as a buc.. you needed that..
September 28th, 2014 at 4:50 pm
Good win – long way to go to live up to the billing.
– GMC is the best 3 technique in the NFL
– Arroyo has the opportunity to make a name for himself and I hope Lovie leaves the offense open and creative like it was in the 4th
– OL needs another RG and LT Collins leaves a lot to be desired
– Glennon was better and has room to grow let’s see his body of work before we anoint him as the savior.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:50 pm
Everyone needs to chill. We won and its a great feeling but lets not get ahead of ourselves here. I hope glennon has this position figured out tho. Martin needs to quit riding that raiders game and start moving the effing chains. Glennon has to spread the ball out too n get comfortable with his receivers asj is a big boy
September 28th, 2014 at 4:50 pm
Glennon threw an interception let’s not forget that ;p
September 28th, 2014 at 4:51 pm
Kid stood in there and delivered the rock! He earned it and it’s his team! Damn, this is what winning feels like!!! I like….FIRE THE CANNONS! GO BUCS!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:51 pm
Lol at the mg detractors saying he was just ok……all those drops and he drug his team to victory. Lol him and the 15 yard steeler penalties. Just ok…..lol he was Peyton manning compared to mcclown and as someone else said..he would pick olives zone defense apart.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:52 pm
Loves..
September 28th, 2014 at 4:52 pm
Lets give the TEAM and glennon credit and not act like we won the superbowl….umm I dont know if yall seen what baltimore did to carolina 2day but ummm yeaaa….n Pitt was banged up
September 28th, 2014 at 4:53 pm
great win but this alone doesn’t vault this team. lovie still has to prove as does glennon. steelers had 120+ penalty yards too.
i hope this starts the turn around, but we shall see.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:53 pm
@SteveK
I don’t think he gets that much hate. If you exclude dawg, most others just say he needs to earn props. Every other position is held to that standard. That’s how I have viewed it.
I think the MGM gave him too much credit before he earned it though. Making him earn it makes him work harder.
I have to say though…I saw glimpses of potential that I didn’t see last year. He has improve some of his weaknesses.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:54 pm
thank you, all of you for showing up, and playing with heart, drive and determination. it wasn’t pretty, but it was pretty damn good! and may I say it was nice to see the bucs laughing and yucking it up on the sideline for a change.(how do you like it ben) and I will be the first to admit of my bashing of the players and coaches the last month or so, but you know, after awhile it get’s frustrating when losing becomes the norm. I am proud of my teams performance, and lovie if you do not stick with glennon, who everyone in their right mind can see gives us the best chance at winning. I will personally come down to one buc place and have you arrested for impersonating a head football coach……… right on ginger cannon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:54 pm
Agreed Delson
September 28th, 2014 at 4:55 pm
Even Lovie isn’t dumb enough to start McTurnover after this. His injury ill continue.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:55 pm
Winner winner, NY strip, mac n cheese, n asparagus dinner! WHAT A WIN!!!!!!!!!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:56 pm
Knowning how the bucs are, Lovie will praise MG8 but say this is still McCown’s team.
#doh
September 28th, 2014 at 4:56 pm
Who in here is telling us to chill and not get excited? Not now man save it for later let us feel good for awhile, Thanks..
September 28th, 2014 at 4:57 pm
The Oline stepped up big time in second half. I liked how Glennon got rid of the ball quickly. Too bad Evans got hurt but now they can throw to Seferian-Jenkins! Oh & Murphy was HUGE!!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:57 pm
It was a much needed win to get this team on track. Glennon was inconsistent, which is why some say he was just ok. He’d make 3 bad passes then throw a dime to extend a drive. Just look at his first half stats to learn why some think he was just ok. Obviously he played much better in the second half, but he still needs to work on being consistent and throw the ball up in the air and not the hips of our 6’5″ WRs.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:58 pm
receivers had drops but saved glennon’s a$$ multiple times, too. he hit the defender in the back in the endzone on a pass to sefarian-jenkins. he throws behind receivers many times. murphy and jackson made great plays, too.
September 28th, 2014 at 4:59 pm
Goonies never say die. One-eyed Willy was a pirate. Buccaneers are Pirates. Buccaneers are Goonies…and they NEVER say die!
September 28th, 2014 at 4:59 pm
I’ve been on board with the MGM since week 6 last year. He has Russell Wilson potential. He should have started week 1! I bet you a dollar Lovie starts McCown as soon as his paw is healed.
September 28th, 2014 at 5:00 pm
Not a member of the Mob. But as a Buccaneer fan I am very happy for Mike Glennon, the Bucs and all Buccaneers fans. Unbelievable 🙂
September 28th, 2014 at 5:01 pm
Lurker…yeah he throws behind receivers for back shoulder completions! Go Glennon!
September 28th, 2014 at 5:02 pm
To all the people downplaying this, save it for later we just won….Let us enjoy…
September 28th, 2014 at 5:03 pm
Wonder what Duemig thinks about Opie now. #InYourFace
September 28th, 2014 at 5:05 pm
Umm TAC ..I think sapp would slap u himself that PITT back in his day isn’t the same team now….nor did sapp n crew get 5 sacks on em……great winn by glennon AND the D..but this isnt pitt h.o f LBs and h.o.f bettis running lol smh caalm dooown
September 28th, 2014 at 5:06 pm
ok panhandle…so the throw in the endzone to murphy with 1/4 of the endzone to the sideline available he meant to throw behind the receiver…lol
whatever. and still murphy almost made up for the bad throw.
September 28th, 2014 at 5:08 pm
Great game for the Bucs and Buc Fans. Way to go franchise QB Glennon. With Glennon and Martin back the future’s so bright I need sun glasses. #MonkeyOffOurBacks
September 28th, 2014 at 5:11 pm
I agree Soggy..let’s enjoy this one because we damn well haven’t been able to enjoy a win like this in a while!
September 28th, 2014 at 5:12 pm
Can’t empahsize enough how great of a win this game was. For all the complaining we’ve been doing on this site (myself included), they shut us all up. We beat a good team in a hostile environment. You don’t do that without coaching and playing well. I’m sure if we lose next week everyone will be screaming to fire and cut everyone, but at least for a week, they have to shut up.
As for Glennon, he happily proved me wrong. My big problem with him has been that he hasn’t had a sign signature play or signature drive. Well, he had both today, and I’m extremely happy he did. It’s way too soon to determine if he really is the QB of the future, but at least now we can evaluate him and see if he really is the real deal.
September 28th, 2014 at 5:13 pm
if stoneface goes with MCcown after glennons play today, I hope the team mutiny’s on his ass, and if MCcown really wants to win, he should go to the coach and say. that the team would be better off with mike playing and me holding the clipboard and mentoring mike . let him get some experience with, some solid tutoring with MCcown
September 28th, 2014 at 5:15 pm
Some positives:
– d-line had 5 sacks and held that steeler running game in check. We actually got production from Mj, bowers, gholson
– o-line looked good in pass protection who would have said that 2 weeks ago?
– Glennon finally stepped up in clutch and won a game
Still secondary and running issues

Glennon is NOT the answer
September 28th, 2014 at 5:22 pm
Glennon has 3 game winning drives of the 5 Bucs wins he’s been the QB for. That has to tell you something about his poise…
September 28th, 2014 at 5:26 pm
Bucnut.
What was the question?
If it was which Bucs QB can win a game, then MG8 is the correct answer.

Omg Joe! You’re a bigger moron than I thought. Glennon sucks and real bad. He should have had the game in control long before the heroics at the end. It was not him but the receivers that one the game. He’s atrocitious but I’ll take the win. My God I can’t believe someone that acts like they have all the ins and thinks they know football because they write a few articles that usually pisses half the people off is taking credit for being a Glennon fan. You guys are embarrassing. Go Bucs team.. Not the idiots that write this crap.
September 28th, 2014 at 5:29 pm
The bucs played with heart, Glennon was great a lot of dropped passes but he did good.McCoy fired up this team . Five sacks by defense
September 28th, 2014 at 5:33 pm
GOOOOOO BUCS!!!!! GREAT finish by defense. Glennon was clutch. INT is not on him since Evans went lame on that play. He threw it away at the right times and took his shots downfield. WR’s let him down (Jackson wtf???) many times. He kept his cool and kept us in it. I’m on board for the MGM until he gives me reason not to be. GOOOOOOOOO BUCS! BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
September 28th, 2014 at 5:40 pm
Should be interesting to hear douche mig’s comments this week.
September 28th, 2014 at 5:42 pm
seriously…how do you not see that the receivers bailed him out on many poor throws, too?
September 28th, 2014 at 5:47 pm
When Schiano said at the end of last season that the Buc’s found their quarterback, maybe he was right? He was going to stake his Buc’s career on it, which I guess was already over at that point anyway.
September 28th, 2014 at 5:56 pm
Still on this Buccaneer high!
September 28th, 2014 at 5:57 pm
bridgewater looking like a real qb and not a pinocchio qb like glennon
great to have a win, though
September 28th, 2014 at 6:00 pm
Unislookgoodunislookugly, nate and lurker. “Well Pitt is not the Pitt of old. They had 120 yds. in penalties. Receivers save his ass.: STFU and go back to your holes. Let us enjoy the day.
September 28th, 2014 at 6:03 pm
MGM represent all week. Shut down the Big Dog’s phone lines. You know exactly how that last drive would have ended at least 2 downs early with McClown. March the Clown out of town.
September 28th, 2014 at 6:11 pm
3 and 1 if Glennon started day one!!!
And we are not out of it. Our division is not playing great if Atlanta loses today. we are only one game back.
September 28th, 2014 at 6:11 pm
Itsma great win but you have to look at the steelers penalties… they lost that game they pretty much handed it to us.. but hey a win is a win ill take it!
September 28th, 2014 at 6:21 pm
I’ll admit it is only one win, but damn didn’t that feel GREAAAT! I cannot believe that Lovie would even consider going back to McCown, especially since he appeared to be wearing a thumb spica cast, which to me means he likely will be out for several weeks. Don’t know any of the details about his injury however.
Thank God “Captain Checkdown” threw so many five yard passes, cuz somehow he got over three hundred yards. He also got only 245 yards in the second half though. (sarcasm)
tickrdr charter member of the MGM
Oh, BTW 21TDs/10 INTs for his career
September 28th, 2014 at 6:22 pm
So Joe can you find a better picture MG8 you always use it !
September 28th, 2014 at 6:27 pm
Deumig will still be making the case that Freeman deserves a shot…
Give it to him this week Joe…
September 28th, 2014 at 6:28 pm
The Bucs stole this victory from the jaws of defeat. Just an exciting phenomenal finish.
September 28th, 2014 at 6:29 pm
MG8 the second best QB in the NFC South
September 28th, 2014 at 6:31 pm
Good/ugly u really r a horses ass. Of course the WR’s helped, they also helped drop a number of catchable balls.
Someone call Duemig up and tell him Opie just kicked the Steelers ass.
It seems like the only two things people have against Glennon is his looks and the fact Schiano liked him and he replaced Freeman.
Well Freeman can’t even get a job in the NFL and probably never will again and I don’t remember Peyton ever having Tom Brady looks either.
September 28th, 2014 at 6:38 pm
“MG8 the second best QB in the NFC South”
this is the crazy talk that makes me respond…lol
September 28th, 2014 at 6:53 pm
duemig will rag the kid for 21 of 41 and 300 yrds
September 28th, 2014 at 7:17 pm
Oh it’s Glennon’s team for certain now. You people wanted him to put the team on his back and get a win. He did it. It’s his job now.
Long Live the MGM!

Correction: 22 TDs/ 10 INTs . Forget last week.

Feels great to get a win!!! Sure seems to not feel as good for the people wasting their energy spinning things and backtracking. Just enjoy the win, losers.
September 28th, 2014 at 7:36 pm
Great effort Bucs!! Congrats on the win and back to work on Tuesday. Lets build on this successful outcome and continue to improve.
Lots of ghosts buried today. Lovie’s 1st win as Bucs coach. Bucs 1st time ever winning in Pittsburgh. Glennon finally showing that he can bring his team back from a deficit and win the game in crunch time. The OL showing they can give Glennon enough time to work with. The DL showing they can bring some heat, get some sacks and help contain the run. Johnson showing he CAN make impact plays. Hell, even Bowers made a good play on his sack…
Its a good day to be a Bucs fan for a change.
Now show us consistent effort, competitiveness and improvement throughout this year and the fans will be happy to show up and cheer you on.
September 28th, 2014 at 7:48 pm
Great post, Pickgrin! Who would have thought. What a difference a week makes. Many were talking 0 – 16, and now we’re only one game out of first in the division? Is that even possible? I know it’s only one game, but how can the running game help but improve, if we can throw the ball downfield effectively.
I am only sorry that MG8 didn’t start the season, because we would likely be at least 3 – 1, if he had.

September 28th, 2014 at 8:22 pm
MGM the only qb to have won a game for the bucs in the last 2 years. Let that sink in, haters.
September 28th, 2014 at 8:25 pm
I was ONLY off by a touchdown!!!! I wrote this prediction a few days ago after everyone and their brother had picked the Steelers to destroy the Buccs at home.

We’ll be able to keep up with the Steelers soft d’. I know, they played lights out Sunday…..vs. a Carolina team…whose offense sucked…they were one d’ with no running game…cam was on one leg, and they too have questions marks on their oline. Didnt help that the turned the ball over either. Buccaneers play clean, maining solid TOP…and I actually am one of the very very few who like the Buccs chances this Sunday, especially since guys are coming back to play that we missed the last couple of weeks or so. Buccs 20-Steelers 17 in an “upset”
September 28th, 2014 at 8:27 pm
This was a straight up TEAM victory… I was impressed by how Glennon improved as the game went on – which was his biggest weakness from last year. So props to him.. He’s earned another week.
But huge props to the D, GMC & Johnsons with those sacks to start the game & that strip… Then they came up with that huge 3 & out to give Glennon a 2nd chance to win it, and Finally! He was able to close a game!
I watched this game sober, so I didnt forget all the blown coverages, over/under-thrown balls, dropped passes…
But tonight it just feels good getting this W! It’s been.. sooo… long! Thank You Baby Jesus!
September 28th, 2014 at 9:03 pm
Yes Pickgrin, great post you summed up things nicely! Did not think the Bucs could get 5 sacks, at least not in one game, the DL definitely stepped it up a notch. Also got to give credit to Murray for hitting a 50 yarder at Heinz field, it turned out to be the difference as did the blocked kicks in the Rams games…. Good win,it will be nice to see the @-holes in the National media have to actually say something nice about Tampa bay or at least move on to trashing someone else like the Raiders, Titans, Jags or Carolina who all got the sh!t kicked out of ’em today. BTW, how about those Falcons, they look like the team that the Bucs put 41 up on last season vs the Vikes?!?!?! Perhaps a healthy Bucs squad can circle the home game and get a little revenge…..
September 28th, 2014 at 10:28 pm

@JOE If you are now a Glennon General (There is no mob – we are fans/supporters. Well behaved and orderly), please start putting up some decent pictures of Glennon, not the same shots to make him look bad, dopey, goofy or any thing to feed your friend steve’s name calling and then that stupid ass laugh that that really shows his ignorance/arrogance. OH yea! Remind the yapping Chihuahua that the Buccaneer Quarterback, Mike the Cannon, passed for over 300 yards and lead a 2 half comeback. Time for Tampa to rally.
