Joe doesn’t believe in “must-wins” in September. But if the Bucs want to sniff the playoffs this year, now might be the time for a win.
Isn’t it about time the Bucs make another team pay for starting some slug at quarterback? Isn’t it time for the Bucs to make people pay for triple-teaming Gerald McCoy instead of break dancing for offensive tackles? Isn’t time Josh McCown look like a starting NFL quarterback?

It was great to see the Saints lose last week too. As you see the scores this week teams that did great like the Vikes and Dolphins are back down to earth this week. I would love to see us come out and play today the way we did with our first string Vs Buffalo. We’ll know very soon. Go Bucs!!!

Isaiah Crowell was a 5 star recruit for Georgia. He was good but he couldn’t stay on the field and got kicked off the team after his first year hence the transfer to Alabama St.

If you know your JBF history, you should know how untrue that is.
First off, I was AGAINST bringing in McCown in the first place. I quickly pointed out how the “5 good games” last year were not really, and that he lost 2 of them.
Secondly, I have said all along, I want Glennon to earn the starting role. I do NOT want it handed to him. And I have also said that there is no reason to think he is better than McCown. However, the main reason I am against the switch is because you can’t reverse it. Once it is done, it stays done.
So we should be 100% sure it is the right thing to do.
Why would it not be right? Because the games here at the start of the season and the offensive line. No QB is going to look good behind this oline right now.
So, if you put in Glennon, he will look just as bad. That would be sabotage.

It has been my experience that Glennon does even worse under pressure. If the change is made, I’ll support him, but before hand, I doubt it will get better.

we have needed a qb….one had to be drafted. instaed we get a receiver being outplayed by kelvim benjamin. plenty of receivers in that draft, not many qb’s.

Because the best sacker in the nfl are in the game. The oline cannot give McCown enough time to consistently pass. The Bucs have no choice but to mostly run the ball.
I would like to see Lane and James get some runs though.

Lovie brought back the Tampa 2 but I have not observed our DB’s jamming the recievers at the line which is a key element to the Tampa 2 along with pressure provided by the four down lineman. Neither is happening.

Couch fan you can root for them all you want. The are both aweful. This is a qb driven league. You don’t get great ones drafting at #18, see freeman. Need a high draft choir to get a great qb. The Russell Wilson, Tom Brady miracles are few and far between. Look at the falcons and panthers, both high draft picks. I would rather lose now and get a franchise qb and win for 10 or more years. I’m in Orlando for a conference and planned on capping it off by renting a car, going to Tampa and seeing the Bucs\Ravens game. Very rare for me to get to go to see the Bucs live. I’ve cancelled the Tampa trip. I can’t justify the car rental, hotel and ticket to the game to watch this crap.
It’s one thing to stink. But to stink and be a boring product to watch, is unfathomable. The Bucs are the least exciting product in the NFL and I feel duped I bought into the hype that things would change this year. I will not spend my hard earned cash on this travesty of a team and have already changed the channel. Bucs, I’ve given up on you

Looking at the schedule, it is looking like an 0-16 season. The rest of the teams we play have a QB. All World Davis threw 22/29 for 235, and future HOFer Anderson 24 of 34 for 230 and 2 TDs. I don’t see anybody left on the schedule that is worse than these guys, and will put up the numbers against aour DBs.
