Shaun Hill “Day-to-day” For Lambs

The immortal Austin Davis, Lambs third-string QB, may get the starting nod against the Bucs.
So here we go again. Yet another starting quarterback that is supposed to face the Bucs may not.
Lambs starter/second string quarterback Shaun Hill, who inherited the top spot when Sam Bradford blew his knee (again) in preseason (again), did not practice Wednesday. His Sunday status is up in the air, types Nick Wagoner of BSPN.
This mirrors last week when Stinking Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was day-to-day and missed practices leading up to the Bucs game.
If Hill cannot play, the Lambs will turn to some piece of cheese named Austin Davis. Because of the emergency at quarterback, the Lambs signed former Texans backup and college football record-holder Case Keenum.
“Austin took the majority of the reps,” Lambs coach Jeff Fisher said. “We got Case some reps, first time. He’s starting to feel a little more comfortable in the system. Keep in mind this is still just his fourth day on the practice field with us, so he’s working hard to get [caught] up.”
The extent of Hill’s injury remains a mystery, so the cynics in St. Louis believe. He was so putrid in the first half of the Lambs opener against the Vikings, the pessimists claim Hill was benched and the Lambs used an injury to save face.
That doesn’t appear to be the case, though the explanation is humorous. Hill is said to have a thigh/quad injury of some sort.
Man, Joe cannot believe the breaks the Bucs are getting. First, it was no Cam Newton, and the Bucs couldn’t cash in, shamefully letting Derek Anderson beat them. Now, with no Sam Bradford, not only are the Lambs looking at a third string quarterback possibly, but stud defensive end Chris Long is out Sunday, as well.
It’s about time the Bucs take advantage of these shortcomings from opponents.

Hopefully we can take care of THIS backup and not end the game with ourselves being beaten by a SCRUB again!!!

Amen to that, as previous posts proclaim and it is nothing but fact:
THE BUCS MUST WIN ON SUNDAY….
A win will be the best way to apologize for the product that was put on the field in the opener.

The way the Vikings toasted the Lambs on Sunday makes me wonder if Bradford getting hurt let all the air out of their sails, and they’ve already gave up on the season. They might be just mailing it in the rest of the season.
It’s not like their backup QB is better than their starter like ours is.

Keenum scares me. As someone said before the Panthers game, the Bucs suck against backup QBs. Keenum played well enough to start 8 games for HOU; he is probably better than Anderson.

This week’s version of Dan Orlovsky. They’re going to need to wash these games out of their heads quickly with Matt Ryan coming up in exactly one week. Too bad they only get two days of prep time for that one!

I can’t remember the last time the Bucs beat the Rams, maybe a few years back. The Rams have won the past two or three anyway. The Rams were touted as an up and coming team and ready to move out of that division’s cellar competing in a tough NFC west. Crap happens. Time for the Bucs to win by beating the limping lambs.

If the Bucs game plan for beating the Rams is blown out of the water based on which backup QB is starting this team has far bigger problems then we thought. Homer in me says Bucs put an ass whoopin’ on the Rams and redeem themselves.
