VJax is a stud but Evans is a green rookie. Then there is a big drop off. Murphy is serviceable when he isn’t injured, Herron can’t catch, Owosu is invisible. All together it is tough to give a high grade. Then there’s whole issue with who is throwing them the ball. That is not going to make them better.
Except for VJax, I just haven’t seen enough from the other receivers at this point, to warrant an “A”. As we get a little farther into the season it should be easier to make a better assessment. There is promise, but just not enough actual game tape.
B – I love the potential of VJax, Evans and ASJ, but only VJax is proven. Further, who is the 3rd WR? Everyone behind these 3 have questionable hands. Hopefully someone will answer the call.
C or worse, you can’t grade someone who’s never taken a snap. As for the rest who have – VJax, Owusu and Murphy don’t strike fear into the heart of a defense. You give up a few jump balls to Vjax each game, but that’s about it.
I gave them a B, mainly because of Evens fake on his TD against the Bills who you said has a good defense. He faked that CB out of his jock on that play. Vjax is a pro and ASJ or whoever is playing TE should have a blast not to mention the HB. When Josh has time to throw or the plays set it up, bombs away for a change.

B only because Evans & ASJ are unproven

Incomplete. Ask me in 16 games. You don’t give out grades before the test.

D because we only have one receiver on our roster that’s ever done a damn thing. This unit has a lot to prove

I have to give this unit a B-, but what do I know, just a guess.

B with potential to improve to an A if some of our players pan out.
WAAAYYY better than last year.

Vjax doesn’t strike fear in opponents? Wasn’t he voted in the 30’s out of the top 100 players this past year?
The BUCS receivers get a C- at best (in my opinion). They have a ton to prove.

Since ASJ is not a receiver, I gave a B. Now I’m thinking it should be a “C”.
Really, what WR did we bring in to shore up the #3 spot? No one stands out.
