Jackson No. 44 In NFL Network Top 100

The Bucs’ big-money wide receiver, Vincent Jackson, has earned one of the NFL’s highest honors. His fellow NFL players voted him into the NFL Network Top 100 of 2014.
Jackson was rolled out as No. 44 tonight during the weekly countdown show.
Jackson, 31, didn’t have his best season last year — 78 catches, 1,224 yards and seven touchdowns — but it was still impressive, especially given that defenses were able to shade coverage his way consistently after Mike Williams was lost with a hamstring injury.
Congrats to V-Jax! Last year, he ranked 52nd in the players-only vote.
Lovie Smith and Jeff Tedford desperately need Jackson to at least duplicate what he did last year. Mike Evans’ healthy presence should make that easy.

The female voice on the show also said we were one of the few losing teams on this years list with multiple players on the list.

If you were on a large market team, you’d be top 20.
And as classy off the field, as he is talented on it.
My favorite player( McCoy a close second), and the best WR to ever play for this franchise.
His play is incredible to watch!

On topic, VJAX deserves it. I know Herm says you are what your record says you are, but I truly believe last season was just a fluke of random bad events and unfortunate circumstances that spiraled out if control. The team and the coaches were not as bad as some would make it seem. Killer schedule didn’t help. Things are looking up though

I like Hardy but I think Hardy is number 2 behind Jackson. I think once we have some other guys up and running Jackson is going to have really big numbers.

Without Hardy coming here in FA Jackson maybe still in Cal. playing for the LA Buccaneers. Therefore Hardy is #1 in my book!
