While these uni wont prevent me from watching and loving the Bucs, I just hope I get desensitized to them during the preseason so I cant enjoy a snack during the regular season without spewing something all over the floor that my dog would gladly clean up.
I’m glad the players like the heinous new uniforms and I don’t really care what they wear as long as they win. Ultimately this change was to prompt people to buy more merchandise and I’m perfectly content to be “old school”.
I’ve said what I have had to say about the uniforms. They are here. I will deal with it. What I want to know is, how many of these uniform lovers, and uniform haters will get those butts to the stadium and support our boys! If you have to, spend the money on game tickets and not new gear. We need the home field advantage back. It could be what inspires an average player to reach the next level during a game. The fans that have been there have, been doing a great job, but we need a full house. Shirts be damned.
I think the new uniforms are nice. I didn’t like them at first when they put them with the black background but when you see them without the darkened effect they are smooth. I’m planning on rocking a new white one, just don’t know who yet. David? McCoy? Martin? Revi…..oh wait lol.
And to head off the obligatory “I can’t afford it!” replies. I understand what’s up in the world today! I see so much pain when I look in other people’s eyes at times. It’s rough out there. But, I know Tampa is a party town. It is. That’s just the facts. There is enough entertainment funds being spent every weekend that filling the stadium 8 times (F the preseason) a year should be no problem. Let’s turn the Bucs games back into the largest block party in the USA!
The uniforms definitely have “Glazer” written all over them. By changing the uniforms, the team just makes it more clear to the world that they suck. Since it is always the bad teams that make changes like these.
I guarantee you after the fans see them in person on the field that percentage will be much smaller lolol.
But 65% of this fanbase is always displeased about something, the same 65% that were complaining about something as our team lifted up the Lombardi trophy…
Have they never heard of focus groups…..if so we wouldn’t be a national embarrassment for do thing other than …4-12. MRSA, kneel down attack, Freeman, Revis, ….at least we HAD some of the best uni’s
Jeez. Who cares? The unis will be here for a while. If you don’t want to buy the shirts, don’t. Again who cares? When game time comes, I’ll be watching the plays and rooting for the Bucs as usual.

The reflective chrome numbers look pretty nice, I like the new unis.

I am still having a hard time getting used to the new Tampa Uniforms
March 31st, 2014 at 11:29 am
We should have to wear the creamsicle uniforms until we reach the playoffs again….
It’s not the uniforms that matter, are the players any good?
March 31st, 2014 at 11:38 am
I like the new unis! I would take the little diagonal lines out of the numbers, makes them look chopped up!
stevek has a good point about what’s important here.

Our previous uniforms were awesome. Nothing wrong with them at all.
When 65% of the fanbase doesn’t like the uniforms, I think that means ya screwed up. I don’t think even Manziel could even make them look good.

Went from top 5 best jerseys in the league to bottom 5 worst. Still looking mighty amateur hour.

The numbers make me want to vomit ..
March 31st, 2014 at 2:03 pm
I don’t mind the new version but the numbers look like alarm clock display. Maybe they will “glow” on me.

This is cash grab marketing at its worst. Makes me kinda sick it’s my team.
March 31st, 2014 at 2:39 pm
Part of the 65%.

They can win three straight Superbowls in them. But you won’t get a dime of my money for those ridiculous uniforms… None.

Smashing to see Olivia coming out on trib TV. I love tribbing and could watch that stuff all day long.

Cannot say I care for the new Unis…..Very robotic numbers are a turn off. I do like the slash on the legs….but meh…for the rest.
March 31st, 2014 at 5:45 pm
100% fail on the new costume. I won’t pay 2 cents for any of that “merchandise”. Love the Bucs – but the owners need to be fired.
