Experts Critique Bucs Uniforms
March 10th, 2014Olivia Stacey had heard from Bucs fans what they think of the new Bucs uniforms. Undaunted, she decided to speak with some Tampa fashion experts to see if the Bucs scored a touchdown with the new threads, or fumbled, in this TBO.com video.

The only thing missing on the uniform is a stenciled orange Bucco Bruce feather tramp stamp on the lower back of the jersey.

The uniforms suck. We’ll learn to deal with it for the time being.

Can’t believe that someone was paid to come up with that design. The three tone jerseys with alarm clock digital numbers are dreadful. I thought they did a great job when they changed from the Orange to Pewter and Red, now they have taken a huge step back. I don’t plan on rushing out to buy any Buc gear. I’ll wear my old stuff.

Joe this uniform is just like when you first saw Rachel, you didn’t she may grow on you, no you though I will follow her anywhere.
Well the new uniforms are great if you are a fashion model ( according to the fashion experts in this clip) but they are not suitable for a warrior, they make them look like a lawyer that will try to talk you out of tackling or hoping to move out the way so I can come through. Wear this in a biker bar and see what happens after they stop laughing.

Im def. in the minority but,
I LOVE THESE UNIs!!
Initially, I thought they were okay (I never thought them ugly) but by the end of that first day, once i got over the alarm clock font and the fact that we are predominantly brown team instead of red – I was loving them.
Im not just drinking the kool-aid, I really think esthetically – this was a logical step forward.
Eventually this will be considered one of the best looking jerseys in the league.

This is the kind of “news story” that could only be produced by some low budget local news outfit trying to come up with story ideas. For the record. . . I have chosen to let the new uniform design “sink in” hoping that if i looked at it enough times it would look better. It has not. I hate it. Add it to the list of bad decisions that fans have had to endure for the last 10 years.

In the minority- but I like both the new helmets, and the new new uniforms.
I like the Red, and white uniforms.
Don’t like the new pewter jerseys, didn’t like the old Pewter units.
And I like the digital numbers. Makes old style look archaic.

I have to admit that actually seeing the uniforms in better lighting (the pewter actually looked like pewter instead of dark gray/black) I am starting to like the a little better. The number font still looks kind of goofy to me, but maybe that will grow on me when I see them.

I hated them at first but with all the billboards I’m warming up to them.
They also may look better on the field.
If a man is running the ball into the endzone in one, who cares. Fire the cannons!

Okay now they have sloooooooowly grown on me. I still only have one major flaw that I don’t like. It’s that stupid Bucs word on the side sleeve. Then again no on else ever mentions it so I guess it does not bother too many. I just wish they would have kept the ship.
