Mix is the 26-year-old former Bucs wide receiver who was released from the team Wednesday following his indictment in Alabama for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The grand jury there had a problem with his alleged sex with a 15-year-old girl.

Today, the Press-Register quotes local law enforcment in Alabama saying Mix’s young liason was a willing participant and just one day shy of 16 — Alabama’s age of legal consent — when the alleged sexual act occured.

One day. You can’t make this stuff up.
