December 1st, 2013The leader of the New Schiano Order sat down with the Buccaneers Radio Network after today’s clubbing in Carolina to talk briefly.
Greg Schiano seems flummoxed by why the Bucs were bad on third down. “You have to look in the mirror as a Bucs team and say, ‘Why couldn’t we perform better than 1-for-10?’ Whether it’s the plays we have, or the plays we called, or the players not executing, I think there’s enough blame to go around.” …The full WDAE-AM 620 audio is below.

Oooh, could the NSO be souring on our OC? Yes, please! Both offense and defense are regularly out schemed and out coached! Mike Freaking Shula toyed with Sheridan today! Also 1-10 on third downs??? Pathetic!!!

I can’t post for shyte anymore, this site hangs and locks up everytime I hit the submit comment button. It got so bad earlier today that I could not even close it out. I had to unplug my pc, I USUALLY have to go into task manager and shut down the damn site that way. This has happened many times lately. Out of frustration, I’ve given up on posting. I’ll try back in a few weeks.

Glennon is better that expected, but his inability to escape the pass rush to extend plays killed several drives today. The Bucs should be thinking Johnny Football or bust at this point.

Carolina is a better team than we are. They should have won this game. However, we should not have lost it as badly as we did. The creativity on offense was non-existent. We win a few games and the coaching staff reverts back to what WASN’T working. WHY? We ran all Iso runs and one toss play (which we never run well). There were no screens, reverses, barely and playaction, and one roll-out the entire game.
As a coaching staff, you should know how good Carolina’s front 7 are and call plays with misdirection to slow them down a bit. Instead you continue to bang your head against the wall, running straight down hill right into the defenses strength. Roll Glennon out. Buy him some time. Buy the receivers time to get open. Our play calling this game was as vanilla as our first 8 games. This coaching staff needs to shake their bad habits for more than 4 games.
As for the defense: We cannot get pressure to save our lives. Cam had time to wink at all the cameras and do his cocky-ass superman move before throwing the ball or deciding to take off through the gaping hole left by our D-line stunting. Our DE’s played their typical horrible game and GMC got completely neutralized. It’s great that we spent 16 mil on a CB, but shop at the local Goodwill to find DEs. SMH

It’s the Schiano Way. Wins are over-rated, as long as you do it the Schiano Way. It’s a view that’s even endorsed now by this site–five wins is good enough to keep your job (even if that means you actually got worse from last season). Embrace the Schiano Way! Embrace losing!

I agree with most of your points…..when you can’t run…you go to the short passing game to backs, TEs and recievers in the slot….we have no creativity with our playcalling it was quite apparant that we were not going to be able to run on Carolina…the only reason we saw just a bit of success in the second half is I think we surprised them by continuing to run when we should have been passing,,,we are devoting a FB & TE toward blocking and still can’t get the job done.
Our pass rush is awful….week in and week out….we just don’t get it done!!!

LOL I think I might have found the problem, it’s a program that keeps updating. Strange though as it does not happen with ANY other site.
