Are The Bucs Playoff-Ready?
November 8th, 2013In his regular “Coaching Hot Seat” feature for NBC Sports, ProFootballTalk.com creator Mike Florio reveals that the Bucs are not yet mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Hope lives!
More serious playoff talk, however, came from Darrelle Revis last night on WDAE-AM 620. Revis said Monday Night Football is very much like playoff football because of the intensity players bring to the game and the unmatched regular-season electricity in the stands. Considering the Bucs are playing a solid Miami team, it should be another strong test for the New Schiano Order.
Speaking of Greg Schiano, in the hot-seat feature, Florio downgraded (upgraded?) Schiano to the second hottest seat in the NFL.

Solid Miami team? The wheels are falling off that thing. If we don’t beat Miami we r definitely losing out.

@Warrenfb12 – Wasn’t that what we said about NY? or Atlanta? or Philly? We couldn’t beat them and we won’t beat Miami. Welcome to Buc fandom 2013 edition.

@Warrenfb12 – They sure looked solid beating the Bengals. They’re not a 4-4 patsy, distractions or not.

Just like with the Seattle game, we are fully capable of winning this game. Only if Schiano and crew can wake up in the second half of games maybe we can pull out a win. Haven’t we only scored ONE TOUCHDOWN in the second half of games all season? And wasn’t that a meaningless one against Carolina? I don’t know what goes on in that locker room during halftime but clearly the Bucs are a very uncoordinated team during the 3rd and 4th quarters. If only Schiano could finish what he started, maybe he wouldn’t have 3/4 of the fanbase screaming for his head.

Maybe he should send the adjustments to the players ipads so they can take them into the bathrooms with them at halftime since that’s what halftime is for. At least then we’d be multi-tasking and possibly pull one out

Playoff? You talkin’ bout playoffs?……errr not happening, no way, no how!
November 8th, 2013 at 10:50 am
The hell we are the last time we won a game was last year.
November 8th, 2013 at 10:53 am
Miami solid? They have injuries all over the field and this week have been the biggest news story in sports. Just lost 2 of their starting O-Line and players are taking sides in the clubhouse. I predict the Bucs get their 1st win over a team that is in more disarray than they are
November 8th, 2013 at 10:54 am
I don’t think we can win one game this year its time to hang it up.
November 8th, 2013 at 10:58 am
Playoffs. Yeah right you need to have a HC for that…
November 8th, 2013 at 11:04 am
@ Mr Patrick – It doesn’t matter who they have on their O-line, our D-line isn’t running toward their QB anyway. They could put their cheerleaders on the O-line. We’ll be stunting ourselves into another futile effort that makes it even less bearable to watch.

They need to beat Miami..If that happens who knows. Playoffs are out of question, but they could go on a run. I predict they win 5 of the last eight. They beat Miami,Atlanta,Bills,Rams, and Saints.

Miami had New England down 14 points too. Their defense is good and gets after the passer.
we shall see.
I’m sticking with 0-16.

We win against Miami and Atlanta….two in a row at home.
November 8th, 2013 at 11:44 am
TBBF…yep that’s what I’m looking for too. The Bucs are 0-8 but they lost a lot of close games, which makes them no slouch either.
“We are what are record says we are”. Whatever.
Eventually the Bucs might start winning those close games. Might being the keyword though.
November 8th, 2013 at 11:56 am
Remember the only reason were not in the playoffs is because the NFC is so good this year.
Usually 0-8 is right in the mix.
Weird year.

Had to LOL when I read “mathematically alive”. I’m “mathematically alive” to win the lottery when I buy a ticket as well.

PLAYOFFS ??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beat the Dolphins ?! This team couldn’t beat their own meat right now.
@ShutTheBucUp
LOL, sooooo true brother!
0-16, that’s how much confidence I have in the entire organization. Starting with the T.T.O.T.s ( the twin towers of truth, a.k.a the Glazers ), the entire coaching staff, all the way down the roster. Not the entire roster, but most. Specifically the ENTIRE d-line, most of the o-line, the sorry ass receivers they have. I’m not impressed by any of the receivers they have, including Vincent Jackson. That clown drops way too many balls. Let’s not forget the overpaid secondary that hasn’t done much AT ALL as far as turnovers.
