Khalil Mack Re-Signs With Chargers
March 10th, 2025Noooo!
Another quality edge rusher is off the market. This time it’s future Hall of Famer Khalil Mack. The 34-year-old will return to the Chargers on a one-year, $18 million deal, per NFL.com.
Damn, Joe had hope for Mack, who proved he had plenty of juice last season. And it seems Mack gave Los Angeles a discount to return.
In case you were snoozing on the beach over the weekend, stud edge rusher Harold Landry signed with the Patriots and Myles Garrett re-signed with the Browns on a monster contract. And yes, the Bucs still need edge rush help.
The NFL free agency siren formally goes off today at noon, when league-wide madness will ensue.

The collision course with a Trey Hendrickson trade continues ! ( I hope/wish ).
Cleveland screwed the league yet again by paying sticker price plus for Watson first and now Garrett.

Brutal. After those reports that the Bucs were looking at him, I was very confident.
1 year 18 million is the exact kinda commitment I thought we were looking for. Would have still hurt next years cap a bit but it’s going up 10-20 million anyway.
I have no doubt Mack would have been a difference maker for us. I don’t see any of those left out there.

Please no more JTS, resign Anthony , he was coming on last year. Mike Green, Jason Walker, Mike Williams any of those guys if they are there at 19 maybe take Azleer from the NYG or hope for a Draft day trade for Fredrickson

JTS returning in a vet minimum or slightly above wouldn’t be the worst thing. As a low-paid backup, at least he’d know the D. I don’t really expect that to happen, but I won’t be in here whining and crying like a beeeyaaatch if it happens.
