  1. SB~LV Says:

    LB3

  2. gp Says:

BPA @ ILB, OLB, CB, IDL, S.
    In Licht I trust.

  3. KABucs Says:

ILB as the first pick is dumb.
Low value pic… Knight could probably be had in the second or third round. Only Campbell is worth the first pick and that’s ONLY IF the training staff/ team ortho thinks his shoulder is mending nicely and he will be back at full action (or close to it) before camp starts.

Edge or DL… but BPA a must.

  4. Ron Mexico Says:

It all depends on who are still left of course. If Tyler Warren is availlable, we should take the tight end, eventhough it is not a real priority (we do need better depth).

We know Licht prioritises the trenches, so I wouldn’t rule out a surprising IDL selection in the first round.

  5. Zoocomics Says:

@KABucs… ILB is a dumb pick? Ok…well @19 you’re looking for max value on a pick. You go DE and you’re potentially reaching. If you could snag a 10-year starter at ILB that doesn’t everything Bowles needs an ILB to do in his defense, would you?

I voted for ILB, but let me caveat, that I think a solid David replacement can be found in the 2nd or 3rd… if a stud DE/OLB happens to fall to us, I still say D-Line is the way we should go.

Since acquiring Bowles, Licht and company seem to have a great feel for drafting Safeties and CB out of the first round. Why buck that trend?

  6. StormyInFL Says:

Depends on what’s left – don’t reach for need. If BPA is a position you can use but isn’t an immediate need, take the player (ex TE or OL). Otherwise, trade down and accumulate picks.

  7. Zoocomics Says:

No editing…ugh… *That does EVERYTING Bowles needs at ILB.

  8. Daniel Says:

No off-ball LBs in the first round.

  9. StormyInFL Says:

If someone like MacMillan slides to 19, you take him. He appears to be a perfect Evans understudy. Mike’s in a contract year, and while I hope he signs and stays here for the rest of his career, nothing is guaranteed.

  10. Steven007 Says:

I went with interior DL. Just based on the fact that I don’t think we’re going to pick an inside lb at that point and edge will be diluted. Should allow us to draft one of the top DTS in a draft that’s heavy with them. Best player at a position of need. Always.

  11. Allbuccedup Says:

It depends on whos still available. I agree that linebacker in first round is not a good pick based on history the two Devins and Mike Tomlin even traded up for one.

  12. Lol Says:

Edge, Interior Backer, CB is the order I prefer. I just want them to pick the best available at 19 though (no O linemen in the 1st please)

  13. Pewter Power Says:

D line or corner probably best value to me. A lot of the best linebackers in the nfl are day 2 picks

  14. SteveK Says:

Other: BPA all the damn way Tampa Bay, what do you say?

  15. Pickgrin Says:

    Keep bolstering the trenches Jason!

Edge/DE or DT in round 1

    CB round 2

    ILB round 3

  16. Fred McNeil Says:

I missed the poll, but I’d have had a hard time choosing anyway. ILB? That would be the biggest need, but maybe not the first pick.

  17. Teacherman Says:

    Morons!

    DT/DE is the biggest need!

Logan Hall is mediocre! He’s ours weakest link on defense.

It’s his final year. Give him competition!

And we need another DT to rotate with Vea.

We have a huge drop off when Vea rests. And he rests a lot!

    Vea misses many snaps!

Go watch the loss to the Redskins.

Kingsbury had special plays when Vea was out.

We need a guy to pressure Hall. And rotate with Vea.

  18. BA’s Red Pen Says:

    • Cornerback
    Dean is soft.

  19. Simeon4HOF Says:

    CB

  20. Zman Says:

Never ever draftbfor position unless it’s QB or LT. Generally, take best player available. We could use a WR. CB, S, DT, TE, LB, or DE. You draft to get a guy who will give you a solid 8 to 10 years. For example, if Warren falls to us, they better run his name up. That guy’s a player.

  21. RBUC Says:

I missed poll also but we definitely NEED more EdgeRush as a 1st round quality talent, good Inside LBer 2nd(for the right player) but can be had in the 3rd round!

  22. KABucs Says:

I’ll add if the BPA at 19 is mostly offensive players (I can’t see it playing out that way… but the draft plays out to no ones expectations), please trade 19 for 2 lower picks so we can build some debth, still mainly on D. In Licht we trust …. with the day 2 & 3 picks.

  23. Todd Bowls Says:

Did you see (“insert NFL fake pundit here”) Mel Kryptonite’s Mock Draft 37.2 which has the Bucs trading Baker Mayfield, Mke Evans, Chris Godwin, Tristan Wirfs and LaVonte David to the Titans for 5 picks so they can draft Shedur Sanders, Deion Sanders, Barry Sanders, Colonel Sanders and Sanders the Wonderdog in the upcoming draft.

That’s why they call them “mock drafts” …..everybody mocks them!

I trust Jason Licht and his excellent scouting staff to let the draft come to them, pick players who are good values, fit the profile of a Buc’s man (great teammate, accepts coaching, works hard, no drama, no off field distractions, good citizen both on and off the field) and fill needs to strengthen the team for 2025 as well as for the future.

  24. Todd Bowls Says:

Or in the words of Christopher Walken, “More cowbell !”

There is some decent 2nd and 3rd round edge prospects available.
