Rachaad White Describes Josh Grizzard

So what is the Buccaneers’ new offensive coordinator like?

Joe will find out a lot more about that today when Josh Grizzard meets with media at One Buc Palace, but the 34-year-old has coached under Adam Gase, Brian Flores, Mike McDaniel, Liam Coen and Todd Bowles.

That’s a mix that impresses Bucs running back Rachaad White, so he told Barstool Yak yesterday.

White shared a few nuggets after working with “Grizz” last season when he was Bucs passing game coordinator/third-down specialist.

“Swaggy dude. Brilliant mind. Young, electric, good energy,” White said of Grizzard. “Comes from a good tree; you can’t never go wrong with that. Todd Bowles’ been very good at hiring OCs, so, you know, hopefully Grizz can stay around.”

Yes, Joe agrees. Hopefully Grizz can stick past this season. If not, that probably means the Bucs’ 2025 season was an outright mess.

    Never met a microphone he didn’t like damn white. If he can stay relevant and have a decent career he’ll definitely be on ESPN or something like that because he really wants to be seen

    We didn’t run near enough screens as the season progressed either.
    Even a check down helps.
    You can’t simply take away his usage.
    White has value.

    Rachaad was a decoy, if that, down the stretch.

    Hopefully Grizz will get the 2-3 headed monster rolling again.

    Good to hear from Rachaad about Grizz and Baker today.

    Yes, Bowles does know how to hire OC Coordinators. Rachaad is right on point with the nugget about hoping Grizz stays awhile.
