  1. TamoaBayBucFan Says:

Bowles is unpopular because he underachieves……his in game decision making helped to cause close game losses. Including the playoff loss 6 of the 8 losses were within a TD.

  3. Alfread Says:

Well, if the Joe-Joes say JL is popular, then I guess the masses are wrong. (I wonder how long until the Joe-Joes delete this?).

  4. Dubcity Says:

On the Bowles vs Litch convo

Jason made ZERO good defensive decisions prior to Bowles joining the Bucs.

Fans blame the coach for everything and will never fairly assess the roster of the team they root for.

  5. Joe Says:

Before Todd Bowles arrived Jason Licht …

Drafted: Vita Vea, Carlton Davis, Jordan Whitehead (all starters on a Super Bowl winner).

Traded for: JPP (starter on a Super Bowl winner).

Signed: Nacho (11-game starter on a Super Bowl winner).

    That’s not exactly “Zero.”

Me and the old hound and a hot cup of coffee. Listening to our favorite podcast this morning, she’d rather be outside waiting on the sun to rise but that’ll have to be next week. 15 degrees and lows of zero forecast 3 of the next 4 mornings. Spring is right around the corner my as.. Funny you guys didn’t discuss the main reason JL and TB confidence polls seem to be so skewed. But the main point taken is that both men do have a confident spring to their step. That’s because they have lots of experience and do things the right way. And Sage, 54 years old is not young. These 2 guys have a confidence that runs through the organization top to bottom because they know. How close this team is. And they are working hard right now to make it better. And I’m confident they will make the right decisions this offseason addressing their concerns. And as a result we’re going to be even better this year than last. Then, once we bring home the “Lombardi” you guys can run another Bowles confidence poll. You know, to give us something to talk about.

  7. Dubcity Says:

Glad you mentioned that Joe because how’d those moves work out for Mike Smith that year?

Seems like Bowles brought out the best in those moves.. made Litch look smart.. those superbowl winners are under the leadership of Bowles

  8. Mastersacker 58 Says:

In my opinion ,I think that Todd Bowles experience as head coach with the Jets influences peoples opinions.

  9. heyjude Says:

Loving the conversation regarding Garrett and/or Sweat. Jason does well with the picks and hoping for the best again this season. Yes, we can bet other teams are looking at Godwin too if the Bucs are ready to keep him.

So true about the Winston and Mariota draft. A lot of teams wanted both of them. I seem to remember Payton being impressed with Jameis at that combine too.

I like that Bowles doesn’t have that extreme fire on the sidelines. Sometimes seeing it on the line from another coach becomes a sideshow in itself.

  10. Badbucs Says:

Signing Godwin saves us money on the cap. I think its 18 mil dead cap if he bolts. We nearly have to resign him.

  11. unbelievable Says:

LMAO Ira I think you’re making some things up in your head.

NO ONE has said KJ Britt is strong.

NO ONE is banking on Shaq Barrett to return to form and make a “huge push”. There is not a significant amount of fans banking on him whatsoever.

Whitehead USED to be a stud, this past year he was a washed up shell of his former self.

    Someone check on Ira’s meds…
