Kayvon Thibodeaux Giants
I’m sure you can get him for a low draft pick. Pick up his 5th year option. Just 24 . 6’5 260 edge.
Low risk high reward upside.

Did you watch too much Puppy Bowl over there Sage?

Yep, me, my old hound, and my favorite podcast. Good to see someone talking about Bowles contract extension. Yes, Sage was right on about needing more consistent pressure on the QB. I don’t think it matters much where it’s coming from. If we can get a stud enough front seven with depth we won’t need the overpaid corners. The key is pressure on that QB. We’ve got a great OLine with depth. Our great front seven with depth ain’t that great and doesn’t have any depth.

I wonder if Garrett would even sign off on coming to Tampa. I’m pretty sure he was one of the guys that was on OBJ side and wanted Baker done in Cleveland. Would he want to play with Baker again. And if he was one of the guys wanting Baker gone would Baker sign off on bringing him in.

Inside and outside backers are all Bowles guys. DB’s are all Bowles guys. Few starters amongst the bunch. Back ups are weak. Now people are talking about throwing more draft picks at the problem. Seems to me they’ve been down that road already. I’m trying to figure out why they would do that again. What has Bowles done to earn another wad of draft picks? Can’t bring myself to listen to Ira at the moment. After listening to what he had to say at the end of the season. That’s just a bridge too far.
If Garrett balks at coming to TB it would have less to do with Baker and more to do this ragged defense CTB puts on the field. In a larger market they would eat Bowles alive here in TB when it comes to Bowles one must tread very lightly. Guy is weak sauce. He always has been except for a brief moment of glory whe this D was was loaded full of talent.

Cleveland we got 2 1st rounders and Dean … Wassup
February 14th, 2025 at 5:21 am
We need an edge rusher. And I agree, not just anyone to fill the spot. We do need someone that isn’t injury prone and that has at least nine sacks. Many times there are gems just waiting for the chance in the 3rd round. Many right there in the 4th round too. Unsure if Licht would want to give up Diaby or anyone else for a draft pick. We still need Diaby.
