It seems per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, by way of a law firm representing Bucs running back Rachaad White, contends that a group of evildoers have tried to shake down White. It has failed.

Details are slim but someone (or some people) tried to squeeze White or else the perpetrators would leak unsavory stories about White.

The statement by White’s attorneys is below and White’s counselors are taking a hard-line stance and vow that any further attempted shakedowns will be met by justice and the long arm of the law.
