Report: Liam Coen Not Promised To Be Todd Bowles’ Successor

January 22nd, 2025

Contract detail.

Well here’s a very interesting tidbit about Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen’s new contract with the team to keep him in Tampa.

When Joe learned this morning that the Bucs had retained Coen with a new contract, “this Joe” figured there could be a clause in the contract that Coen would be the coach-in-waiting when Bucs coach Todd Bowles retired.

Bowles, 61, has been somewhat open that the Bucs are his last stop in the NFL — that whenever his Bucs tenure ends, that’s it. He’s retiring.

Given that his son, linebacker Troy Bowles, transferred from Georgia to Michigan over the holidays, Joe thought perhaps Bowles’ time with the Bucs may be limited. It’s one thing to travel back and forth from Tampa to Athens to watch your son play ball. It’s quite different commuting from Tampa to Ann Arbor (and those notorious Big Ten west coast road trips).

Despite this, a suggestion from Bill Belichick consigliere Michael Lombardi late last season that Bowles was retiring was flatly disputed by Bowles himself as unadulterated horse fertilizer.

However, Joe’s assumption (never a good thing) might be dead wrong about Coen succeeding Bowles as Bucs head coach. Per Jonathan Jones of CBS, there is no such language in Coen’s new contract.

@jjones9: Liam Coen gets an extension and a raise with Tampa Bay, but according to people with knowledge of the contract details, there is no “coach-in-waiting” clause for Coen with the Bucs. This is about continuing to build in Tampa as one of the league’s highest-paid OCs.

This is intriguing. So, outside of Team Glazer loot (always an important factor) Coen, 39, really had no other professional incentive outside of personal relationships and maybe a chance to make a Super Bowl run in 2025 to turn down a head coaching gig with another No. 1 overall pick at quarterback.

Coen has been very open that an NFL head coaching job is his dream.

Then again, Coen has also said in the same media availabilities that he’s having the most fun he’s ever had as an offensive coordinator.

Joe guesses if you are paid well enough to have fun, your dreams can be put on pause.

Ok, so here is what I am manifesting: Tampa wins Super Bowl this coming season, and Todd then retires and walks out ON TOP…. no hit to the ego. THEN Coen is promoted to HC and brings in a DC to compliment and we go for BACK TO BACK! LFG and LFB!!

  2. SB~LV Says:

    Of course not!

  3. Eric Says:

he knows if the offense carries the defense again next year hes gonna get his shot here.

  4. Couch Fan Says:

I dont even need to read the story to know that they would never tell us about such a deal if it were true. Come on now. LMAO. It would undermine Bowles in every way. Come on Joe, you are better than this.

  5. FloridaGirl Says:

He did a great job, but needs more time on task before getting that guarantee. Super happy he’s coming back and the Team can continue to grow.

  6. Aqualung Says:

That’s awesome actually. More flexibility in Jason’s pocket. If this thing goes hard into the ditch and weird stuff happens (which it does all the time in this sports world), he can use the freedom to go in a different direction. If you keep your prized asset without having to go all in, even more reasons to drink heavily in celebratory fashion today!!!!!

  7. Win in the Trenches Says:

    oh happy days

  8. RagingBrisket Says:

If Licht doesn’t do something to instantly bolster the talent on this defense it is a complete waste of effort. Glad Coen stays but Licht needs to pull his weight a lot more with this defense considering the lack of corner and ILB depth to go with high end defensive line busts. Get to work Licht

  9. Couch Fan Says:

Ill say it again. Licht has drafted defensive players. It is not Licht’s job to develop them also…. Ill let you guess who’s job it is.

  10. heyjude Says:

So very happy that Glazers showed Coen the money and an intervention team came in and talked him in to staying. I thought for sure he would end up going to the Jags and was going to be happy for him since he said it was his dream to be HC. Hope Bowels got an increase of pay too.

darengibo – Thinking you are correct. That is the best case scenario.

  11. adam from ny Says:

this is just solid solid all around news right here…!

retaining coen and keeping continuity is just so important in this high powered offense…

also i’m going to go out on a limb here with a take:

the glazer boys, and sister darcie, are doing a better job of running this ship nowadays (post jameis)…than since the best years, when their father was running the show…(with all due respect to malcolm glazer)

kudos to the glazers for making and keeping the bucs as a top flight nfl organization while in a smaller market…i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again – our bucs are debatably the most well run organization in the nfl these days…

    don’t be haters now…ya know it’s true…

great time to be a bucs fan people…yes it is…!

let’s get some patchwork done on this defense in the draft, and sure things up a bit in free agency…and rock and roll…

  12. KnoxvilleBuc Says:

As it should be. He has more to prove and take this offense to even higher level.

  13. DBS Says:

Schrager said this morning 2 coaches have removed their names. Coen straying in Tampa now. How much of it has to do with Tampa as opposed to Jacksonville decision to keep their GM. He is not sure. So what does he really know?

  14. adam from ny Says:

we all know kc is getting the 3-peat this year…

    or maaaaaybe a long shot………………buffalo…

washington and philly are not winning this year…

    i guarantee an afc victory

  15. Rod Munch Says:

If Coen repeats what he did this year, he’ll have his choice of head coach openings next year – and that will force the hands of the Bucs to give him the job and likely give Bowles the boot.

With that said, everyone should not be eager to give Coen the HC job if they don’t have to. He’s doing a great job as OC, and the move to HC almost always diminishes that.

Still, a huge coup to keep Coen, and it will be interesting to see what this offense can do in a 2nd season with the same coaches and same scheme.

  16. Joe Says:

How much of it has to do with Tampa as opposed to Jacksonville decision to keep their GM.

Am confident that is a factor. Remember: Coen’s second interview was scheduled for tonight meaning he agreed to it. Surely he had to know Trent Baalke wasn’t going anywhere.

  17. Woodenman Says:

    Couch Fan = Dave Pear

  18. Joe Says:

If Coen repeats what he did this year, he’ll have his choice of head coach openings next year

    Possible true.

and that will force the hands of the Bucs to give him the job and likely give Bowles the boot.

Dude just won’t give it a rest. LOL

  19. adam from ny Says:

maybe liam read my post on the quicksand culture out in jacksonville…

the sink is real son…the sink is real…

that slow sink into the sand…leaving nothing but bubbles, a waffle house menu and ball cap…

hopefully that woke his azz up…lol

  20. CallTheSaltTruck Says:

Honestly, this just makes sense. There wouldn’t be anything in the contract that specifies this, no team has a crystal ball. We’ve had one (amazing) season with Coen, having a couple more before they officially hand him the keys wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Coen is all of 39, which means there is plenty of room out there. No surprise getting to stick with Baker, Evans, and Irving played into Coen’s plans.

I’m elated though, and I honestly think this will play into Godwin possibly wanting to come back. He’s already seen how big he can be in Coen’s system, he knows he’ll get touches and do what he does best. After his experience with Canales, I feel like he’d be interested in sticking with a team that knows him, but we’ll see.

There were only two big things I wanted this postseason, and we already got one.

  21. Pewter Power Says:

Why would there be such a clause. Deep down they have to be expecting Bowles to succeed for years to come. Liam is eventually going to Find a head coaching job somewhere and Bucs will continue to put there hopes in Bowles only to find out the difference in coaching is like the baker Trask competition. Even is assistant coaches have proven to be better but I would love to see Licht give Bowles some high priced corner just so people realize it’s his scheme

  22. MF Bucs Says:

Has there been any new word about Spytek coming or going?

  23. Couch Fan Says:

Nope try again. This is the only name I comment on. I’m sure the Joes can validate that if they are so kind.

  24. Aqualung Says:

    adam from ny —

    ROTFLMAO! That is outstanding.

  25. bucnjim Says:

Language in a contract vs. closed door meeting. I’m still going to bet on the fact that there was a handshake based on this being Bowles last season and Coen takes over the end of 2025 season. This to me would make the most sense.

  26. JBBUCS_06 Says:

Believe not having the clause also is beneficial for Coen. He may have insisted it NOT be in there. NFL landscape changes so while he has Baker, CG14, ME13, BI7 and one of the best O-lines – make the $$$ and get further in the playoffs in 2025. Who knows what happens with rosters, injuries, especially QB position, Liam may want his options to remain open to go wherever and not want to tie $$ into HAVING to remain as Bucs HC.

    Smart negotiations.

  27. Rod Munch Says:

    Joe Says:
and that will force the hands of the Bucs to give him the job and likely give Bowles the boot.

Dude just won’t give it a rest. LOL

    ————–

I’m not one of the Bowles bashers, as I said the previous sentence, no one should be eager to promote Coen if they don’t have to. Also I had said previously I didn’t think Bowles was going anywhere.

But keeping Bowles or keeping Coen is a pretty easy choice in my opinion – but the Bucs should try to delay that as long as possible, and to get another year to look at Coen and see if he can repeat as OC is huge.

Also Coen is actually a very good OC, unlike that idiot Leftwich, so passing up this gig shouldn’t tank his career, unlike that idiot Leftwich.

  28. ModHairKen Says:

Coen does not need that written into a contract, and frankly, that’s bad business for both sides.

    The Glazers are honorable people.

  29. adam from ny Says:

maybe he saw how ben johnson maneuvered a bit…

and that gave him the “don’t jump ship so quick” vibe as well…

    he’s good…and he knows he’s good…so he’ll be just fine…

if not here, then somewhere else…

but maybe he likes the whole tampa vibe and is thinking long game in bucsville

  30. Dom Says:

They can’t say that or put that in the contract because of the Rooney Rule but I like his odds of being the Bucs head coach in 2027. Bowles contract expires after the 2026 season. They would make it a smooth transition. Coen would have 3 years of experience by then, developed a culture offensively, and would still be in his early 40s. He’s got a great front office, ownership, players, weather, and no income tax. It doesn’t get better than that

  31. Lightningvinny Says:

Now on to the DC debate ,,,

  32. gp Says:

    – our bucs are debatably the most well run organization in the nfl these days…
    *************************************************************

I’m thinking this may have played heavily in the decision process.
Most of the HC openings are in sh1tshow operations.
Sure, you get the gig and the money, but for how long?
The Glazers are notoriously loyal. And that makes for a good work environment.
Just don’t pay any attention to the “armchair” GM’s and various other wannabees who post on sites like this!

  33. Anthony Says:

easy to see why he’d turn down the jaguars. Who would be excited to take the helm of the worst team in the league and start with a rookie QB OR stay and take a run at the superbowl? Liam still has plenty of time to be a HC

  34. Demetrios Says:

Of course not. There is the “Rooney Rule” to consider here. Therefore there are no promises to be head coach.

  35. Tye Says:

    No need!

If the Bucs duplicate this past season, Fans will be all the more adamant to push for Bowels to be FIRED and a new HC brought in….
If the OC improves his side, Coen will be many fans choice to do so!

  36. BallHawk75 Says:

    @Joe

Why are you fighting for the limitations of Bowles?

This is pure insanity. Bowles is the problem.

He cannot get a defense full of stars to be successful in the passing game.

I’d bet if we got rid of him and got a competent DC, this team would surely fly.

Not just back into the playoffs and fall on their face.

Actually compete for a Superbowl title. We are just wasting time with him.

  37. BuckyBuc Says:

    Bucs 25′-26′ superbowl champs

  38. PSK Bro Says:

    Just because it’s not in writing doesn’t mean a promise wasn’t made…..

  39. Leopold Stotch Says:

We lost Spytek to the Raiders

  40. Xristos Says:

I never understood those that said
Give a raise to Coen and promise hime the job when Bowles is gone. Many said that even before the exit from the playoffs.
That would suggest that Coach Bowles would be ok with that, something hard to believe because first of all he has said that he has no intention to retire and second I doubt Coach Bowles would be ok with having the successor already in stuff. His voice will not be as strong and not as heard.
Its nice to make these ideals scenarios in our head but sometimes they dont work in real life.
Good news today. We can see this Offense for 2nd year and how it can progress with a couple new pieces.
Now about the Defense, we have to wait and see.
    Go Bucs

  41. ocala Says:

Liam Coen should be the 2025 head coach of the Bucs. Thankfully they convinced him to stay on as the OC.

  42. First Name Greatest Says:

    Has Bowles gotten an extension?

If not his contract would expire next season if he got the standard 4 year Head Coach contract when he was gifted the job after Arians retired (forced out) after 2021.

Interesting if Coen has a longer contract than Todd

  43. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I called it days ago. Liam Coen staying in Tampa.

I suspect he only interviewed because he wanted a raise, and he never planned to leave…because of Baker Mayfield. The art of negotiation.

People here were stressing over nothing.

We’re heading toward becoming the Kansas City of the NFC competition-wise.

  44. adam from ny Says:

i think we will survive spytek loss…

    still a good day…

we certainly were’t keeping all uppers this offseason

  45. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Interesting if Coen has a longer contract than Todd”

Of course he does. They wouldn’t have signed a one year deal with him. But expect Todd to get an extension soon too.

  46. Chuck Says:

Would a succession clause be possible for Coen with the Rooney Rule?

  47. doolnutts Says:

I mean the Jaguars don’t scream dream job. I understand there are only 32 NFL head coaching gigs but maybe he looked at how things turned out for Dave Canales.

The roster is pretty poor in Jacksonville there is a GM he may not know well so that could be a factor and our offense is really clicking. Although there is no clause about assuming to be HC for the bucs maybe his ideal situation would be to take over as our HC once todd retires.

  48. adam from ny Says:

bowles should be allowed to stay as many years as BA stayed…

    how’s that for a take…?

    penny for your thoughts

  49. Lord Cornelius Says:

I’d think being an OC is way more fun than being a head coach. Way less pressure and responsibility while you get to focus on doing one thing really well.

And after the year we had, if I were him I’d be all about staying and building this offense.

If the defense is a massive failure next year I’d think he will have the inside track to being the next HC, regardless of any clauses in any contracts.

  50. Simeon4HOF Says:

There goes Spytek to Brady. It’s alright, we got Liam

  51. Baker Bowl Says:

bowles should be allowed to stay as many years as BA stayed…

    how’s that for a take…?

Don’t know if this was intentional or not but considering it means Bowles is out now, I’m down

  52. infomeplease Says:

I’m glad LC is staying on in Tampa. Now is time to shore up the Defense… Edge, Middle linebacker, Corner,

  53. Durango 95 Says:

That particular point a ‘sort of coach in waiting” has been brought up amongst the great people that make up this forum many times. I’ve never thought of that that as necessary or even doable thing. From an organizational point of view you don’t want to obligate yourself to anything at all. From a Coen point of view his success will speak for itself. If his offense is clicking he can do anything he likes. You put points on the board in this league you can write your own check. And the Glazers are happy to pay for that. Bucs fans should be happy. This worked out well. I’m not even going to crack on Bowles today. Plenty enough time for that later. It’s like a national holiday around this place. As a matter of fact why don’t we all take the rest of the day off. I’m sure Joe has already cracked his first tasty beverage and Uber is bringing his Hooters as we speak. Send me the bill Joe I’m buying, brother.

    Coen Secured 2025!

  54. Tye Says:

    Raiders got Spytek…
They can have the whole Bucs defensive staff also….

Bucs keeping Coen was the ultimate gem today!

  55. Pewter Power Says:

Teams with trash defenses don’t go to the Super Bowl. Having said that Bowles does have a ring so let’s see if he’s just too old and it’s him or does he need better players. This will be an interesting offseason because its all in him to improve not the offense

  56. HC Grover Says:

We win 8, 9, or 10 games again….Bowles will always keep it close.

  57. HC Grover Says:

So Brafy raided us for Spytek….Watch out for the Brady Raiders….

  58. HC Grover Says:

Top free agents heading for Las Vegas….Brady is putting up the Bat Signal there.

  59. HC Grover Says:

    Will Brady poach Trask??

  60. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Sure, sure.

    Wink, wink.

  61. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Agree LC.

  62. Truth be Told Says:

This was the biggest cloud of concern entering this off-season for the Bucs now that he’s coming back it assures us a good offense again next year now if we could only figure out how to play pass defense. Go Bucs

  63. Defense Rules Says:

When Todd Bowles signed on to be BA’s DC, I’m convinced that it was because BA told him he’d be ‘HC in waiting’. Todd had other opportunities at the time that looked to be far better than the defense he took over here (#31). And as it turned out, HC he became. Surely though it was written in his contract (not even sure that’d be legal).

Liam Coen doesn’t need it written into his new contract (the actual terms of which we all have absolutely zero proof, just various speculation). Coen pretty much told us the other day that he wasn’t leaving, without actually saying ‘I’m not leaving’. He’ll havbe plenty of HC opportunities in the future; hopefully the Bucs are smart enough to keep him here.

  64. Rod Munch Says:

The Jags just fired their GM, who seemed to be a big roadblock with head coaching choices.

Is the deal that Coen signed binding? I hope we don’t suddenly hear that Coen is interested again now that the GM is out of the way.

Also, wouldn’t it be hilarious if they got Leftwich now. I’d laugh, and demand that 3rd rounder.

  65. Shake&Baker Says:

Because of the Rooney rule that can’t put that in the contract. I am sure there is an understanding though.

  66. Simeon4HOF Says:

We all know what’s up, even if it’s not in his Contract.

Most likely will be our next HC, just a question of when

  67. MelvinJunior Says:

I felt like he would stay, and there’s no reason for a “HC in waiting” title, or anything like that. If they’re successful, then it’ll be HIS Job to take if he wants it.

  68. Simeon4HOF Says:

    Trask to LV lol

Dean and a 3rd for Crosby .. Come on Bradt/Spytek ya kno ya want to

  69. Brian in St Pete Says:

A wink and a nod is just as good as a clause in a contract. I believe everyone knows the situation. Let’s not be naive.

  70. Hodad Says:

There’s no coach in waiting clause. There’s no santa claus either, but we all get gifts for xmas.

  71. It's Corn Says:

WRITTEN, okay maybe not. Unwritten, seems likely.

  73. WNCBucsFan Says:

Got a little nervous for a bit when interviews were on the table, but keeping Coen is the best news. Shouldn’t have been worried, no way OBP would let him walk. No need for the clause, we all know the end game. I see a deep run into the playoffs IF they can figure out how to make the defense work as well as the offense. Coen is a smart guy, he’ll realize his dream, and it will likely be in Tampa Bay.

  74. stpetebucsfan Says:

As usual D.R. with the cogent insight!

“the actual terms of which we all have absolutely zero proof, just various speculation”

AMEN! Remember how Belichik took the UNC job and will coach the Tarheels next year only to find out that actually Mr. Personality had negotiated a “buyout” of his contract for 1 million. The Buyout I THINK could be faulty memory there has a time limit sometime this summer for fish or cut bait.

I also think like D.R. that Bowles came here on BA’s “word” that he was next in line. I think Bowles would be happy to give his “friend” according to some sources the same verbal guarantee off the record.

Bottom line BB is still an available HC hire for any team that wants him. 1 million is CHUMP CHANGE for BB or any NFL team.

What’s to say Coen doesn’t have a similar buyout or escape if he gets an HC offer for ’26. As DR points out we haven’t seen the contract much less heard of what kind of “personal” agreement Todd and Liam might have.

  75. Jake been there since the beginning Says:

It’s all good coach later or not, we get to see what happens when everybody knows what to do on the offense. No slowing down and checking out for a little while and then having to fight like hell to try to come back. Imagine 13 or 14 sitting in the win column and taking the the championship home!! Coen has been pretty awesome for the Bucs so far and thanks to the guys up top, we get to see what’s up!!! Let’s Go Bucs!!!!

  76. Bucs4EverMore Says:

Great for the Team and All the Fans, unless the Coach gets Better Guys on Defense and a Better Sense of Real Coaching; Buccaneers are Not a Whole Team.

  77. Defense Rules Says:

Bucs4EverMore … ‘unless the Coach gets Better Guys on Defense and a Better Sense of Real Coaching; Buccaneers are Not a Whole Team’.

Interesting phraseology. Agree with you 100% that our defense needs a LOT of work, although we’ve got at least two-thirds of what we need in-place (gut feel is that we need 7-8 new faces). In terms of ‘better sense of real coaching’ though, I’m not quite sure what that means OR how it’ll play out.

This past year’s defense ranked #16 in Points Allowed, putting us smack dab in the NFL middle. I’m not sure if that’d make us ‘the mean’ or ‘mediocre’, but I don’t want to see us play defense like that ever again. And my suspicion is … ‘Neither does Todd Bowles’. What we fielded defensively in 2020 & 2021 is almost surely how he’d prefer his defense be manned & how he’d prefer it to play (having players like Suh, JPP, Shaq, Vea, LVD, Winfield, White, Davis, Gholston and others representing solid starters & depth must’ve seemed like heaven to Todd).

Since then though there’s been a LOT of personnel turnover AND tons of injuries. His is a complicated defense by all accords, and undoubtedly takes awhile to get comfortable in. Constant personnel turnover is the kiss of death for a complicated defense like that. Looks to me like TB’s modified his blitzing schemes & coverage schemes extensively trying to ‘compensate’ (especially in 2024), but it looks to me like that just made things worse. Too many inexperienced players in the Secondary (and ILB corps) to deal with simultaneously?

  78. Defense Rules Says:

Jake been there since the beginning … ‘Imagine 13 or 14 sitting in the win column and taking the the championship home!!’

Oh would I love to see us go 14-3 or 13-4, but I can’t even visualize that in 2025 at least, and mostly because of Baker. He’s been fantastic for this team IMO, BUT … looks like he still has this tendency to be inconsistent at times. We have times when we can just light up the scoreboard, but other times when the scoreboard is barren because our offense poops on itself. I’m hoping that with some solid personel additions (especially on defense), we can go 11-6 or possibly even 12-5.

Steady improvement works fine for me. Our 2025 schedule looks to be tougher than our 2024 schedule, but it’s hard to make any realistic judgments at this point. Let’s get the quality player upgrades in here FIRST.

  79. Durango 95 Says:

No coach in the league can make a promise to another that he will become the next head coach. Coaches don’t have that power. Even if that promise came from a team owner it should always be taken with a grain of salt.

  80. Aqualung Says:

Durango, nice work on securing Coen for ‘25 and beyond. It gives me hope and a reason to drink celebratorily.

  81. BA's Red Pen Says:

BAWAHAHAHAHAHAA, thanks I needed that I haven’t laughed so hard in years! You are hilarious!!

  82. unbelievable Says:

I agree with Couch Fan’s first comment.

Also reflecting on the past season, we had an insane amount of injuries. This is a list of only players who missed MULTIPLE games this season:

5 of our top 6 WRs: Evans, Godwin, McMillan, Jarret, Johnson
Top 4 Safeties: Winfield, Whitehead, Izien, Edwards
4 of our top 5 CBs: Dean, Hall, Smith, Hayes
2 of our top 3 ILBs: Britt, Dennis
Both starting DTs: Vea and Kancey, plus Markees Watts
OLB JTS (he sucks, but he’s still a starter)
    RT Goedeke

  83. gotbbucs Says:

Agreeing to coach the Jaguars would essentially be settling for the last drunk girl at the bar at closing time. Might be fun at the time, but herpes lasts a lifetime.

  87. BucHead Says:

The whole “HC in waiting” notion was always nonsense. Coaching is a performance business. Performance can go up or down for anyone, so you can’t pre-plan to reward people in the future when their future performance is unknowable. Especially in the NFL. Heck, there are hot candidate names every year that fall completely off the radar for head coaching gigs. Arians was in that boat once upon a time. However, it’s more likely in the NFL because owners are unafraid to make a deal if it serves their interest and just buy it out later.–Joe No good businessman does business that way and the Glazers keep demonstrating that they are very good businessmen. Coen bet on himself and bet on the Bucs and that demonstrates that he is what we think he is. His time will come. In the meantime, this is a great day for the Bucs!

is it in the contract Coen will be Head Coach after Bowles retires? NO
is there any contract that says if you drop a hammer at waist level it will fall to the ground?

This is what good organizations do. Good job keeping iur fuy home and happy to be here Glazers!

Glazer Boyz put the Bucs on the back burner when they got involved with Manchester United. They’ve learned their lesson. Buck$$ starts with them. Now, Coen, it’s your turn. You BETTER open up the game plan with the Offense you’re going to be leading next season. I have got to say: I really like Baker Mayfield. He might be short, but he is fearless, feisty, and smart. He is a total team player. This Offense will rock next season. I hope it’s enough to bring CG14 back. Licht/Bowles will be concentrating on Defense. Guys will be healed up. We need a punter, too. I hate the new kickoff scheme, but oh well. Joe/DR, what’s the scoop on the Salary Cap?

  91. TampaJay2 Says:

Is it possible that there is no “clause” in his contract because of things like the Rooney Rule and whatnot? Maybe they’ll get penalized or something? I truly don’t know, but perhaps there was a wink and a nod or something. Just my guess

  92. No Mercy Says:

He’s not stupid he loves working with mayfield and this offense, and this team, and that the head coach of said team who was promoted for being a great DC is doing a horrible job as DC and most fans aren’t happy with him
