    @TheJoes

No one actually thinks you have any insight or input whatsoever into the roster or the coaching staff.

We are simply giving our opinions based on years of experience seeing the same tired and limp wristed approach to winning meaningful games.

Clearly you prefer Bowles on the sidelines waxing idiotic while his Swiss cheese defense grows moldy year after year. Never forget folks that these Joes dubbed Jameis Winston Americas QB.
It’s called a nickname. Lighten up. Joe also dubbed him Mr. Entertainment, too. Joe
They are just fine with losing, as long as the buffet line stays open.
Sad thing is that Joe doesn’t tell fans how to be fans or ascribe motives to fans, but here you are making up things about Joe. Joe cares deeply about winning. And Joe has no idea whether Liam Coen is that winner as a head coach, or if the Bucs know enough about him to believe he can make the jump. Again, Bowles is here. Joe can see some positives and negatives and will take them into the postseason.–Joe

  2. Couch Fan Says:

Very true. Some fans are ok with mediocrity and some are not. Some fans remember what it was like to finish in the division basement year and year and are scared to go back to that. I see no difference in winning a weak division and proceeding to 1 and done it, or just not making the playoffs period. Both suck. I prefer to keep shooting for the moon and hopefully get lucky and land a great coach…. or we can just sit around and watch the 1 and doner every year.

  3. Trask To The Future Says:

    JUST REWATCHED HIGHLIGHTS…

The game was lost at the Commanders 11 yard line on 3rd and inches, Bucs down 20-17.

Why would run a play with Bucky starting 6 yards deep in the backfield?

Why can’t this team successfully execute the QB SNEAK & QB PUSH like every other modern team in the NFL uses on such short yardage????

Todd Bowles needs to go. After his terrible clock management in this game and others this season, and his failure to manage a decent Defense as his own Defensive Coodinator, IT’S TIME FOR CHANGE.

  4. Daniel Says:

Dont care “why” Bowles is back. Another bad Glazer decision and 500 team next year.

  5. HC Grover Says:

As an original Buc Fan from the start…..Mediocracy is better than No Wins all Losses. So get ready for same old story. Our sideline stiff might do it again this year. At least we keep it close. That is the name….of ….Bowles….game. ‘disgusting’

  6. BradyGronk Fan Says:

Problem is Bowles doesn’t adjust to the opponent. Commanders are a time of possession team, that keeps the game close, and win it at the end. They’ve won 8 games that way.

Bucs are a team with a top offense that is dynamic and talented. Bucs needed to play aggressive and try to win in a blowout. Instead they were conservative and safe, and relied on the team weakness, the defense.

  7. HC Grover Says:

Bwaaahahahaha! Same as it ever was next year and less interesting. The thrill is gone.

  8. BradyGronk Fan Says:

Trask to the future, that’s exactly what’s wrong with the Bucs since Bowles screwed up the end of the Lions playoff games. They just make self inflicted decisions that doesn’t make sense. I was wondering the same thing why they weren’t doing a QB sneak.

The other thing is Evans was on fire. Evans was still hyped from last game. When Brady had a hot receiver or TE, whether is was Gronk, Edelman, Welker, or Moss, they were getting 10 to 15 targets. They had that critical series in the 4th but no passes to Evans.

  9. BradyGronk Fan Says:

HC Grover, when Brady and the Pats had a top defense but only a decent offense, they relied on the defense to keep it close and win it at the end. But when they had a top offense and mediocre or top defense, they played aggressive to bury their opponent.

With the Bucs, they have a top offense and a below average defense. They can’t play it close. They needed to play to their strength and score a lot. But that isn’t Bowles way. That’s why I think there is a more than 50% chance he is fired. Bowles is just too chicken little for this kind of team.

  10. unbelievable Says:

Trask to the Future and BradyGronk nailed it.

We had 2 opportunities to put the game out of reach, and both drives we failed. Self inflicted wounds from the offense lost us the game.

  11. BucsFanNATL Says:

The issue with the Bucs defense is Kevin Ross!!!! He’s been the secondary coach since Bowles has been in Tampa, and every secondary looks the same year after year. Bowles continually says “We have to coach it better”. How many years is he going to say the same thing and make no changes? Players come and go, but no matter who is in the secondary it all looks the same. Sean Murphy Bunting looks a lot better in Arizona than he did in Tampa, and even Carlton Davis looks better in Detroit. When Bowles grows a pair and fires his friend Kevin Ross and brings in a better secondary coach. The defense will live up to it’s potential. If Ross comes back next year, the secondary will be a very weak spot again in 2025-26.

  12. DBS Says:

Last drive sealed it. Bad snap and play calls. Top offense score 7 not 3 on 1 of those drives? They had their chance. Now 😢😢😢😢😢 all off season if it makes you feel better. They lost by 3 not a blowout. The team that played in all terms better won the game.

  13. DBS Says:

Oh. They also got the lucky bounce. The ball hit the upright and bounced in not out. Otherwise ? Who knows.

  14. HC Grover Says:

    He Baaaack!

  15. WestCoastBucsFan Says:

We can blame the offense, but the offense is why it was close and we were still in the game. We can blame the defense, but the defense also limited their points and kept us in the game to the end. And yeah, a fraction of a degree different hit off the upright and who knows. I’m not here to blame the team. Mistakes hurt, more so in the playoffs, and no one knows that more than the players and coaches.

For my part, I’m grateful for the season they gave us. I had an absolute blast with my daughter at the game against the Chargers. I cheered out loud watching Evans get his 1k . I enjoyed watching him handle Lattimore last night. Sure I’m disappointed. Sure I want them to be better. But I’m not piling on or tearing anyone down. I’m a fan by choice, not chance. Go Bucs!

  16. HC Grover Says:

Who cares. If u owned this team the best biz would be keep Bowles and an average record….the accountants say so.. disgusting

  17. Hodad Says:

Our first drive yesterday Todd settled for a FG. Rams first drive Mcvay gies for it on 4th down. Vikes jump offsides one play later TD. See the difference? One coach coaches to win, the other coaches not to lose. No guts, no glory. Todd is gutless. We went from no risk it no biscuit, to play it safe, and lose. It’ll always be this way till Todd is gone.

  18. HC Grover Says:

How will Ira get rid of the odor. Ray Jay is stunk. It needs fumigating. The odor of mendacity lingers. This Pig is just ,,,,aPig.

  19. HC Grover Says:

BradyGronk….do not net the ranch. They like Bowles 50/50 scheme. it will be the same next year….ghey play to win the division not the Super Bowl.

    Allow me to repeat….
They try for division not SUPER BOWL!!!!

    Anyone wanna argue this?

  20. FlBoy84 Says:

Many of those that are scared of returning to year after year losing seem to overlook what a talented roster Licht & Co has assembled over the last 5 years or so. There wasn’t a single roster from that era that even comes close to matching the level of talent that this one possesses. Considering that we’ve won the division & made the playoffs with what is a CLEARLY subpar HC in Bowles, imagine what this roster could do with even a fairly solid, let alone great, HC. Sad how many clearly prefer the safety of the mediocre and known over taking the chance for something substantially better.

  21. Mike Johnson Says:

I never thought we would go deep into playoffs with this team. We won 10 games this season. Thats amazing given we have a sorry Defense. Bowles is back. Cry all you like. Let’s hope he and Licht can fix the Defense next year. Commanders beat us fair and square in Tampa. Congrats to them. Clean out the lockers. Lets have a go next season. To late for Coulda/Woulda and Mr Shoulda. Find us a Defense next year and we might have something.

  22. gp Says:

    I’m NOT a Bowles fan!
Riddle me this though…..Who do we replace him with?
Last year I would’ve made a big play for Harbaugh.
Who’s available and proven this year?
    Coen isn’t experienced enough.
Belicheat’s last winning season without Brady was almost 30 freaking years ago.
Who do you want to replace him with.

I,d be happy with the Glazers sitting him down and telling him “No more conservative game plans”. ” We want you to run the score up on our opponents, bury them if you can!”
“Oh, and get yourself a competent DC, you need to concentrate on just being HC”
Then they should enroll him in a time management class.

  23. View from 132 Says:

Are we all still excited that Mike Evans got some meaningless check mark to end the regular season?

Hope so, because that’s the only thing on next years list too. 8 or 9 wins, Mike Evans gets a 1000 yards. Zzzz.

  24. Mac Says:

Beleichick went to the playoffs his first year without Brady with a rookie qb if I’m not mistaken. This team is doomed for as long as they stick with Toilet. Just flush the turd and move on for goodness sake. He brings no excitement and no one fears the man. I guarentee other teams are excited to play us not fearful at all. Just ask Cousins or any rookie qb we have played with Toilet as our head coach. 6 years of him in Tampa is enough!

Evan that sorry franchise in New York was smart enough to move on from him. He is wasting our best players prime and final years. So depressing.

  25. Tbbucs3 Says:

Only 1 team wins the superbowl….we lost a heartbreak but likely didnt have the talent to contend this year anyways

    #Getoverit

  26. Tbbucs3 Says:

Get new players on defense, develop promising rookies and the expectation should be superbowl or bust.

Liam Coen is a good OC but clearly needs another year to develop because his play calling down the stretch was flat out bad.

  27. Tbbucs3 Says:

Coens worst playcall of the night was trying to draw a well coached Commanders team offsides on a 3rd and inches….why?

It backfired big time. Just hand the ball off and get the 1st down.

  28. shane Says:

Just got done watching this pathetic Vikings performance tonight. You notice the Bills, Ravens, Rams, Eagles, Texans, & Commanders all played to win! Buccaneers played not to lose…they played soft defense & the offense didn’t take
    chances to win….

  29. gp Says:

    Mac
Bellicheat went 5-11 his first year with the patriots with Drew Bledsoe at QB

  30. gp Says:

    Mac
Oh, and the patriots gave up a first round pick to acquire belicheat from the jets.
Probably why they had to wait to the sixth round to pick up a back-up QB.

  31. gp Says:

    Mac
The jets were also only two games away from meeting us in the 2002/3 superbowl.

    g000gle is your friend.

  32. shane Says:

How can anyone say the Bucs’ defense played well, last night??? The Commanders never punted, could have added another 6 points on us but elected to take chances on 4th downs instead. The Commanders ran 69 plays to Bucs 44…Daniels really never got touched, let alone sacked. The defense didn’t force any turnovers, the secondary missed several tackles…were never closer than 5 yards to the receivers when they caught the ball…Don’t let giving up just 23 points was a good effort. If the Commanders wanted to, they could had easily scored at least 30 on us, but they just wanted to keep the ball for the whole game, and why not, the Bucs secondary just sucks….

  33. gp Says:

    shane
    Actually…
There was a play, I think it was in the second quarter, where YaYa sacked Daniels but it was negated by a “non” holding call against McCollum. So, instead of a third and twenty plus, they got 5 or 10 yards and a first.
McCollum was victimized by the refs a couple of times, one was for PI in the endzone when his coverage was textbook perfect and the pass was ten yards away from either of them.
I think YaYa was the one who stripped the ball from a washington receiver before he was down by contact as well. The refs said he was down by contact so it was “unreviewable” even though the replay clearly showed otherwise, so YaYa was victimized several times too.
Game changing calls against a defense that actually was playing well enough to win.
Can’t beat the refs though, because they have the “rules” on their side, sometimes made up on the fly.

Thank you for the podcast. This had to be hard to do and keep upbeat after the game and a late night. Appreciate it. Hope Ira found a coconut doughnut on the way home.

Mike Evans did have a good game along with Bucky. Agreed. Mike should have had more balls thrown to him. He got the best of Lattimore too. The look on Mike’s face when walking off hit me hard. Broke my heart for their loss.

If Coen gets a HC job, good for him. Todd does a great job with hiring coaches. We will get another good OC.

  35. BucU Says:

4 home losses last year. 5 home losses this year. 2-6 record in one score games.
Passing defense ranked 29th. You Bowles groupies are laughable.
