Bucs sacks king Shaq Barrett.
So the Miami Dolphins are playing hardball with Bucs sacks king Shaq Barrett, who won’t join Tampa Bay this season.
Shaq unretired this week and Miami holds his playing rights because Shaq was on their roster when he retired in July. But the Dolphins put the word out yesterday: Shaq won’t be activated and the team will not release him.
That means Shaq will get some easy cash and will be a free agent after the season.
The 32-year-old edge rusher wanted a Bucs reunion, but that’s highly unlikely now.

So Joe’s pal and multimedia icon Rock Riley often patrols One Buc Palace for the Tampa Free Press and in a recent report, Joe heard Riley reference how defensive players have been telling him they are tired of being blasted and doubted. (more…)
