TV Map Raiders At Bucs

December 7th, 2024

The race to 10 continues Sunday as the Bucs hope to keep their post-bye schedule perfect and their sights squarely focused on the playoffs.

Every game here on out is a big game for the Bucs. But sadly for Bucs fans, very few will be able to enjoy Sunday’s Bucs-Raiders game by watching free on their local CBS affiliate.

Save for the Tampa Bay TV market, Oklahoma, Nevada and pockets of Northern California, the only way to watch the Raiders-Bucs game for many will be their neighborhood sports bar or Sunday Ticket.

The lower-level CBS crew of Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta, Aditi Kinkhabwala will call tomorrow’s game, scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Of course, Joe always encourages fans to hit up their neighborhood Hooters for cold beer, hot wings and the legendary Hooters girls. Oh yeah, and football on the flatscreens, too.

Burnt Orange: Las Vegas @ Tampa Bay
Red: Cleveland @ Pittsburgh
Green: NY Jets @ Miami
Yellow: Jacksonville @ Tennessee
Blue: Seattle @ Arizona (LATE)

Guess I’ll be watching the Bucs on the NFL ticket. And Famous Jameis throwin pick sixes on the regular TV. That Steelers D is gonna clobber him.

  2. GP Says:

    I hate CBS

  3. heyjude Says:

Thanks for the map. Jacksonville and Miami seem to have the state covered 🙁

  4. Lt. Dan Says:

Fun story about the “legendary Hooters girls”. I played golf about two months ago with a buddy. Unbeknownst to me, he hired two Hooters girls to follow us in a golf cart the entire 18 holes and serve us adult beverages. We “taught” them how to putt. My buddy – a freaking genius!

  5. stpetebucsfan Says:

It’s not CBS. It’s the NFL. The “rights fees” are what this is all about.

BTW The Lightning are in a far worse spot. Unless their games are on ESPN you’re hosed.

[Sorry, Joe is fully credentialed by both the NFL and the Bucs and that won’t last if Joe allows folks to detail on Joe’s site how to obtain broadcasts illegally. Besides, Lightning games are available locally through Ballys/Fan Duel regional networks and nationally through NHL Center Ice so Joe isn’t sure about NHL blackout rules. The NFL did away with blackouts years ago. Offering up how to obtain Bucs games illegally streamed can get one run from this site. It’s a big no-no, sorry, because that could severely damage Joe’s business. — Joe].

  6. Mort Says:

Thanks to The Baker Effect, I can watch it in little ol Oklahoma. Thanks Baker!

  7. BucsFan81 Says:

Good thing I have my NFL Sunday ticket. Living in North Orlando there is always a couple Bucs game a year that don’t get picked up here.

  8. Lt. Dan Says:

I live in VA. I’ve had Sunday ticket for about 25 years. I won’t go without it. When I built my house I got with the HOA to make sure satellite dishes were allowed. Prior to that – in Hawaii, I would go to a sports bar at 7am due to the time difference. Nothing like waking up, getting hammered for three hours then going back to bed. The good ‘ol days for sure.

  9. Bucs 95 Says:

Why are we getting jacksonville and tennesee instead 🤬 our game is more important

  10. DBS Says:

Well at least we get radio and open jbf. Sure not watching Jacksonville up here because I don’t care about them.

  11. gp Says:

    stpete
    Thanks for the thought anyways
I’ll just head to my cigar bar. The owner is a rabid Raiders fan and has the ticket.

  12. orlbucfan Says:

The usual Bucs Radio for me. Go Bucs!

  13. Jack Burton Mercer Says:

Yeah, I’ll probably be going to the Porch to watch the game myself. Oh well.

  14. stpetebucsfan Says:

    @Joe

Apologies. Your point is taken and I’m honestly impressed you even went as far as you did with your explanation. I’ve always thought you had more journalistic ballls than any of your competitors.

  15. Joe Says:

I’ve always thought you had more journalistic ballls than any of your competitors.

    Thank you.

  16. View from 132 Says:

Thanks for the laugh Joe! I’ve done the drive from Reno to Vegas. There are no TVs there. That route crosses the “loneliest road in America” and it’s called that for a reason.

  17. Richard Dickson Says:

I have no idea why they’d force on us an insignificant game between two teams with 9 and 10 losses when there’s a game with actual importance going on. I don’t think even Jacksonville fans want to watch that game.

  18. John Sinclear Says:

No sympathy here – I live in Ft. Myers, land of the newly wed and the nearly dead! CBS has options. The local station has the Dullphins. Bucs fans get screwed. Used to be FOX had the NFC and CBS the AFC and the world was at peace!

  19. Bucs Orlando Says:

    So dumb.

There are people who live 45 mins from the stadium and can’t watch the game. Instead we get to see Jacksonville lose with a backup.

I’m fairly certain, a lot of family in Jax, even in Jax they would rather watch the Bucs.

Miami is also going to be a blow out. Jax and Miami are being shown while they get crushed and Tampa is hidden.

Maybe it’s a market size thing?

Jax is number 42 with 700k homes.

Miami is number 18 with 1.7 million homes

Tampa is number 13 with 1.9 million homes

Orlando is number 15 with 1.9 million homes

No one in Orlando is going to watch Jax lose. They just cost themselves the 15th biggest market in the country.

    Bizarre.
Not to mention Bucs are on a playoff hunt run and

I’m always blwon away by these decisions.
