Top Panthers CB Jaycee Horn Is Doubtful, Did Not Practice

Panthers head coach Dave Canales did not sound upbeat today about his No. 1 cornerback playing Sunday against the Bucs.
Jaycee Horn, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has been a quality outside corner for Carolina but he did not practice today because of a hip injury.
In his afternoon news conference, Canales was down about Horn, who had 6 combined tackles, 2 passes defended and a tackle for loss against the Bucs four weeks ago.
He also was vicitmized by Mike Evans on a spectacular one-hand touchdown catch (video below).
If Horn can’t go, that should be great news for the Bucs.

Maybe Mike can get his 182 yards organically this game…. or close to it at least.

Send him on some creative go routes and make sure you give him at least 5 or 6 long ball attempts this game.

Any chance C.J. Henderson is still on their team? He probably still has nightmares about Mike beating him like a drum for 3 TD’s and 200+ yards a couple years ago

Still too hurt to play, but who knows about Sunday? Will find out 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

SInce we’re on the topic of coaches. Wouldn’t it be great if we hired Mike Vrabel. He created a winning team with an average QB in Tannehill. Titans are now the worst team in the league without Vrabel. Mike Vrabel for Bucs HC!

There’s a reason why Mike Vrabel isn’t HC anymore or even coaching right now.
If Todd Bowles gets fired, I’d rather see Liam Coen get the job considering the MASSIVE turnaround he’s done with the offense.

No Gruden, please. We already went through that one. I would like to see Bowles and Coen for another year cos it would finally bring some stability to the team. We haven’t had that luxury lately.
