I get all these polls and stuff but Coach Bowles is in his 3rd season as the HC of our Bucs. He is coached close to 50 games by now.
The level of confidence or the lack off is not going to change because of a couple good or bad games.
Maybe i will think about it if i see him make good decisions in time/game management in close games. And if we see our DBs cover tight the opponents WRs lol

Too inconsistent for my liking. Too many horrible decisions this year, plus he can’t develop an edge rush. I get the defense has been beaten up with injuries, but we were close to winning every game except for Baltimore, really.

It cracks me up how this poll changes week to week. If he loses this week it will be completely flipped. But when he wins it goes the other way. Like you are either happy with him or your not. Shouldn’t be 2 faced in the sense and that 1 week he’s the best and the next he sucks.

I upgraded my vote to confident this week.
After weeks of voting little confidence.
To me, our D is playing much more aggressively. I see our D swarming to the ball a lot more. It looks to me as if the D isn’t playing as much of the soft-as-butter-10-yards-off-the-line zone coverage. It also appears that in-game and half-time adjustments to the D are being made. And I’m seeing us starting to call time outs.
In other words, Coach Swiss Cheese seems to finally realize that what he was doing wasn’t working.
That, and the fact that we’re literally playing 3rd and 4th stringers on defense right now.
My votes are based primarily on how the D plays because our offense is doing fine. No problems there.
Let’s hope he keeps doing what he’s been doing these past few weeks.

Confident if he plays at least half press man. But not confident he does. Cooper Rush needs the Herbert treatment.

Pass defense routinely gets shredded since 2019
No Confidence in a head coach who’s ceiling is .500

Confidence today and confident a couple of months ago when this fan base saw Armaggedon coming……
Evaluation should be done by the end of the season, if not some will look really stupid predicting wrong things……

And this is why our team will be consistently mediocre. He is a career loser that occasionally has the team prepared for an important game.
One decent win and that wipes out 3 years of failure?
When Coen – the guy who is really responsible foe the success – leaves for a HC job, then what?

I am one of those Bucs fans that have a hard time getting behind Todd Bowles. I support him now as I can see these defenssive players really like playing for him. They like being strong on the run and in your face. Bowles Chargers defensive effort was as amazing as the superbowl defensive game. Getting new coaching staff is not what it is cracked up to be. Look at what happened to the Jags and Dolphins after a couple years with their new staff. Lets stick with what we got and I will try to be a better fan. Hope we can beat the cowboys and keep this train on track!

He is an average head coach. Very conservative, probably a very steady hand in the locker room. Probably won’t win or lose a lot of games just on his own. Likely a much better DC than head coach. Give him good talent and he’ll probably be above .500. The Don Zimmer of NFL head coaches.

This fan didn’t vote, but when I do, it’s ‘confident.’ Bowles has the respect of his players, Licht and fellow coaches. That speaks mountains to me. Okay, Todd, you and Coen go scheme up a gameplan to beat Dallas in their crib. Ho-ho, I would love to be a fly on the wall of Jerry Jones’ suite when THAT happens!

Just because he has the locker room doesn’t mean he’s a good HC. He remains mediocre and his record proves it.

I hate poles like this because a different times of the year. They have different results. Someone needs to speak up and state some unobvious facts 1) no coach and Buccaneers history has won four division titles 2) Bowles has coached his butt off considering all of the injuries we’ve had this year 3) if you watch the Jim Harbaugh post interview he was in a daze because he was completely out coached 4) Todd Bowles is paid $3 million a year which is in the bottom five of NFL coaches and he beat top 5 paid coach’s, even Dave Canales is paid $5 million and I would much rather have Bowles 5) Bowles does not like the fire people, but he does when it’s really necessary unlike Dungee 6) Bowles has laid off the offense and let Coen run that ship. 7) Bucs rarely pay coaches a lot of money and he deserves more…. I do not want to lose Coen and he needs to be paid and be assistant HC with a time frame for Bowles to step down..

I was wondering about Dave too. As well as Defense Rules and Pickgrin. Hope they are all okay and maybe just on a vacation for the holidays. A lot of us are off now until the beginning of January, so hopefully that is it.
