Joe’s been feeling it in the liquor stores, at Hooters, in the Publix cookies aisle and at Joe’s group therapy session for survivors of The Lost Decade.
Bucs fans are riding high. The vibe is sweet. Winning and a belief more is to come rules the day.
It’s like that first breath of fresh air when you step out of an over-scented Uber ride.
Even Father Dungy, aka Buccaneers Ring of Honor member Tony Dungy, feels it. A Tampa local, Dungy also is an analyst for NBC Sports.
“There’s a lot of confidence in the city right now,” Dungy told a Football Night In America online show.
Dungy, who admitted to being “surprised” by the Bucs’ blowout of the Chargers, even thinks the Bucs can make a run.
Not only are the Bucs playing very well, Dungy believes, they have a victorious track record against NFC beasts Philadelphia and Detroit before their midseason lull. So the Bucs have history that says they can beat anyone.
It’s a great time to be a Bucs fan. Joe is savoring every second.

Save the anointing oil. Coach made Taylor Heinecke look like John Elway during the SB run. Play the same type of aggressive defense as against the Chargers in the 2nd half, keep Cooper Rush from resembling Joe Burrow….and keep Baker from having a Jameis 2ndQ……..maybe then……

I watch Dallas every week and they can be a dangerous crew, but you are what your record says you are.
Parsons can line up anywhere that he sees fit to line up at so that whole OL needs to be ready, he prefers lining up on left side. How they handle Parsons will decide if this offense hums or looks sick.
Don’t rest on Turpin on special teams, he will take it to the house if you do.
CeeDee lamb is the real deal and will hurt you all over.
Rico Dowdle runs angry, Elliot has nothing left in the tank.
Cooper Rush loves throwing underneath to his WR’s Lamb, Turpin, Cooks, Tolbert and will take his shots down field if given time. Rush the crap out of him and make him make mistakes.
This Cowboy team has injuries galore, like the Bucs. Difference is the Bucs are getting healthy, the Cowboys not so much.
Bucs Win if they handle Parsons.

Sticks up for – Brees had a limp noodle, Mahomes had one leg and half an arm. He had Whoopi Goldberg at right tackle, and Orson Wells at left tackle. That is fact. Let’s just hope that the bucks don’t make Cooper rush look like Joe Burrow.

Yeah, Turpin can get away from you quick. Mayfield has thrown plenty of passes to CeeDee and knows what he can do. Dowdle is a quality back. Our organization decided to make offense our priority this last draft. So it stands to reason we may have to win a few shootouts. Don’t know if it’ll be this week but our offense will have to prevail in a few high scoring games this final run. It’s a team game and our team is capable of winning it all ThisYear. Win,lose or draw we draft Defense next year and we can put some great years together. My guess is last week’s game was a volley and this week is going to be a spike. We’re good. Real good.

Don’t know how many DCs beat 3 Hall of Fame qbs on way to winning Super Bowl. Apparently Brees and Mahomes were easy to be beat. How come no one else beat Mahomes? What about Rodgers? I guess he was easy to beat as well. Probably one of the most amazing jobs ever by a DC in a championship run, yet some discontents minimize the accomplishment. Amazing what hate can do to common sense.

Confidence is great ss is being in first place but it all can be a mirage if the team comes out flat and pulls a “Denver” or Bowles’ schemes allow Rush and Lamb to put up numbers like Cousins did earlier and they boat race the secondary. Just win baby! Coen for “Head Coach in Waiting”!

To run the media darling NFC East 4-0 would be sweet wouldn’t it? Especially if we can drop at least 30+ on the Cowflops meaning we would’ve put up 30+ on all for. Would be an accomplishment

The big concern I have is Jones and the refs. I don’t trust them. Bucs have to outwit both to win. Between Bowles, Coen, the team captains and fellow players, I think/feel they will. 5 in a row, Bucs!! Come on, you’ve done it before!!
