I agree the defense looks like garbage but how are they not calling a holding there on our pass rusher Diaby and on the catch against Zion McCollum there was a face mask by Thielen.
A good coach would run and scream to the refs and point out that they’re missing these calls because otherwise they will just keep letting them go.
But this soft defense has to stop there is no reason why passes like that for chunk plays keep going time after time after time.
If this is how we are going to play I almost want them to lose out so that Bowles will go which is hard to say as a fan who should wish the team to win but long-term he is the problem.

It’s true I have not seen the running backs get involved yet in the passing game that is our bread and butter as we have something like 80 plus receptions by our running backs. It seems like they are selling out against the run and they do have the good past defense even with horn out so I would look to try to get some more wide receiver and running back screens.

That was an absolute terrible touchdown on the defense. Adam Thielen is their best receiver and if you watch he had a 10-yard cushion off the line there’s no reason he should have gotten past the defense. Especially when there’s less than a minute to play and they need 60 yards to score force them to dink and dunk.

Really good game for the O. The D honestly has had an easy game and shouldn’t have let the two in they did.
Over all, even the offense isn’t playing playoff run worthy football. The dropped passes that come in on the money have to stop, and the o-line has to completely close up these plays where they let the pocket collapse early .
