Report: Bucky Irving Should Be Good To Go
December 7th, 2024Bucs sizzling running back Bucky Irving is listed on the Bucs’ injury report for tomorrow’s game with the Raiders as “questionable” with a hip/back issue.
And there is video out there floating on the interwebs of Irving walking back to the Bucs’ locker room Sunday night after the Bucs beat the Stinking Panthers with him wearing some sort of body wrap. Asked if he is alright, Irving sharply barks back, “F’ no!”
So there was a question whether Irving could play on Sunday. He missed two practices this week and on Friday, Irving was limited.
Well, BSPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler proclaims Irving will suit up and hit the field for an important game with the Raiders.
The way the Bucs have painted themselves in a corner in the chase for the playoffs, every game the rest of the way is important. And having Irving on the field is critical.

Thanks Bowels Movement for getting Bucky injured returning a kick. You freaking idiot! When does Derrick Henry return kicks?

Of course…never a doubt…

Bucky’s tough, he’ll be out there.
December 7th, 2024 at 7:31 pm
Yeah, Alvin Scissors Harper, the Bucs should use someone they don’t care ab out getting hurt on kick returns. Who would that be again? Maybe Hainsey?
December 7th, 2024 at 7:33 pm
If Bucky is indeed hurt, he’ll play. This team will only not play him if he’s feeling 100%. Never seen anything like it. He’s got the vision, and he’s got the moves. He just doesn’t have the support of the ‘decision makers’. Apparently.

I hope he doesn’t learn the hard way like Mike Evans that some injuries need time. A running back with a hip issue, just because he plays how effective will he be? I wish you health Bucky, it’s more important to have you the rest of the season than just this game

Anyone remember RB Nathan Wonsley? History is repeating itself. Two great games, injured on kickoff and career was over.

Hopefully we’re not so one dimensional that we can’t win if Bucky’s out or possibly gets less touches than last week.
As others have mentioned, its more important to have him healthy long term.
Trusting in Liam and the offensive coaches to figure it out and make the right decisions.

Scotty Mack. I’m all ears. Tell me all the teams that use their number one running back as a kick returner. I’m sure there are thirty-one other teams that do that.

I would not be afraid if they sat Bucky and let him heal more. Let Tuck and White take care of the run game.
Go Bucs!!

We have to win out. If we sit him and lose tomorrow season is essentially over

White has looked good recently and Tucker can do some heavy lifting. Only use Bucky if absolutely necessary, decoy, or handle the ball no more than 10 times. No way should he ever be used to return punts or kickoffs. Trey Palmer has been invisible all season. He needs to handle all kicks.

Be awesome to see Palmer (J-Mac, Shep, Ryan Miller, Jarret) start getting involved again, and to a greater degree in the short-mid pass game…
I think our offense can produce with, or without Bucky even though he is definitely/obviously one of our most dynamic weapons.
Man we miss Chris 🙁
